Okay. I grew up in this town, Elizaberh, Colorado. My parents, Bill Wood, his friends Tommy Keegan, Fred Lynn, Andy Ruthitox, amongst others built the melodrama pavillion that you see first thing when you pass the tree line! My name is Barbara Wood and I came with my daughter who grew up in this town, who I raised in this town to camp. To seek refuge from a very bad situation. But they refused us. We came to say we were coming to tent camp for a month, they said fine. But then when they misplaced their own paperwork, they claimed we didnt pay for the 1st 2 nights and we paid cash. So, theres that. They never gave us a receipt and, God forbid, I'd ask for one. I guess I ASSUMED they were good hearted and honest. THEYRE NOT. SOOOOOOO, The people who actually built this place aren't allowed to.p stay in it anymore. Talk about discrimination and prejudice to THE fullest!! What an extremely sad sad disappointing experience. However, overall, they're rude, biased and overcharge. Go somewhere else. It's a pit stop, not a recreational camp. No one here, I mean, no one, not even the other campers are friendly. It sucks!!! DON'T COME HERE

Very MEAT & POTATOES camp site. Pictures are accurate; shaded spaced out sites. The park backs up to a rodeo and baseball field. Water and power provided each clean site. Quite a bit of road noise but park is quite. 1/3 of the park looks like it is occupied by full timers. Nothing interesting or unique about this campground. It is very strange there are no public bathrooms or shower on premises. You have to walk over to the rodeo to go to the bathroom. The whole website talks about the park 1/2 a mile away... that should have been a red flag. Rec room thing is a slab with a roof with 1 full wall and 2 1/2 walls unfinished overlooking a field. I guess it's more of a shade structure.Overall a step above staying in a Walmart parking lot.

Nice park. Water & electric only. Dump station. Clean bathrooms/showers, cold water only. Bring leveling blocks or jacks. Great for Dogs. Spaces 2, 3, 12,15 are pull throughs. 1/2 mile from old town Elizabeth. 2 miles from Safeway, Walmart, 1/3 mile auto part stores. Go to Elizabethpr.com to reserve.
