The owners and cooks really need to take a road trip to Texas and learn how to make Mexican food. This stuff doesn't cut it!The service was odd, but attentive. It was like the server was following a script. What's up with the "would you like chips and salsa for a dollar?" Seriously? In fairness though, their spicy salsa is a home-run. Too bad they aren't applying the same favor profile to the rest of the food, which is boring! And, it's way over priced. The ambiance is smart Mexican motif. The noise level is perfect. Very well broken up.Overall, there's little value here. The quality and flavor of the food doesn't warrant the high price. I put this restaurant in the "fail" box....I don't recommend this restaurant.

We went here today for a couple Margs and an appetizer. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Our server was really nice and attentive. The Margartias were good. Not great. The only real negative was the nachos we ordered. They were really flavorless. I think it was the ground beef. But also, there were no onions, tomatoes or jalpenos on them. It was essentally refried beans on top of chips, ground beef, cheese with daps of sour cream and guac. For $15.00 nachos, it was pretty lack luster.

We stopped by after a Cripple Creek trip. The service sucked and they weren't even busy. I had a chicken burrito and ate a quarter of it mostly because it was large but something told me not to eat anymore. Driving home towards Denver, we had to pull over so I could vomit. It came on quick and I was sick for 2 days, having to take a day off work. Never again!

Overpriced, weird service, food is bland. How hard is it to order two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Apparently, you cant do that here$42 for two lunch type meals, an iced tea and a Dr Pepper. No thanks.

I don't understand the negative reviews for Casa Grande!! The food is phenomenal with the perfect amount of spice (unless you are a whimp like I am - the spicy salsa is SPICY and it really snuck on me. But, I absolutely loved it!!) The regular salsa has a great flavor and is nice and chunky. Best beans and rice I've ever had. That's saying a lot because I live in Texas and eat Mexican food weekly!! Two of us ate for $50 and I had three glasses of wine. I'm a lush. Not really, it's my birthday week and they gave me FREE sopapillas. They came with honey AND chocolate! David was our server and he was amazing!! He even brought my husband milk when he overindulged in the spicy salsa!!

Our meal is always good! We eat here every couple of weeks and are never disappointed. The margaritas are ample and not watered down. We highly recommend...

$16 classic margarita! That's not even a better tequila. The food was fair. Green enchilada sauce was bland. The portion size was good, but I found it pretty pricy for Mexican food. And everything is an up charge. $5 for a side of sour cream, I just needed a little bit. Oh well check that one off my list.

Don't believe everything that you read. I have been eating Mexican food since I was very young. We're talking 50 years plus. I have had great food and bad food. The key is consistency. We have been coming here for three years now and we haven't yet had a bad experience. Is it expensive? What isn't these days? The bottom line is it is a good place to get good food in a nice atmosphere. If you're looking for something other than that then you're probably hard to please. By the way the chips and salsa are $1.00. If that chaps you then go to the grocery store and see if you can get them cheaper there. C'mon man.

We finally went back to give it another chance and now we know why we left. We left originally because they charged an extra 3% on top of the meal to cover for credit card payment. Did not go back for years and decided to try them again. Well... we walked out. The waiter asked if we wanted chips and salsa for a $1, I was shocked. You usually always get them complimentary. I was laughing as I walked out. Will never go back.

2 stars only for the view if you sit outside. Otherwise, food was a one star... Extremely bland, ground beef had no flavor to it, and the sour cream we got was curdled so that was nasty. The chips and salsa were the only things worth eating to be completely honest. Overall taste like some gringos were making the food. Service was fine, no complaints there.
