A friend and I were trying to find a place halfway between us to meet for Mexican for dinner and we randomly picked Casa Caliente. Fun funky decor, good selection of various margaritas and drinks. (I had the Diva Margarita). The menu is a good sized and has a nice variety - and it was refreshing to see so many salad options other than just a classic taco salad. We started with the chips and queso; the queso came out nearly boiling and was super tasty. I had the birra taco special with black beans and rice. The tacos were delicious! My friend had the enchilada which she said was good, but neither of us liked the super bland refried beans. We ate so much of the chips and queso that we did not have room to try one of many dessert options.

Fabulous service at lunchtime today--thank you, D.J.! Beautiful day to sit on the patio with our pups. We both had grilled mahi mahi tacos and it was a perfect lunch.

This is our favorite, "go to" Mexican place in Highlands Ranch. Everyone in the family, including the picky ones can find something on the menu. The decorations are all over the place and every time we come I find a new Dino that I missed last time. If you're in the area it is definitely worth at least trying!

We found this spot while in the area looking for something new. It's very chill. I love the decor & ambient lighting. They also have over 100 tequilas & an 8 page drink menu with a very impressive margarita list. We were seated immediately. My hubby loved the country music playing instead of the usual mariachi music. I, myself, was happy when I found a pineapple jalapeño tequila & had my 24oz marg made with it and a tajin rim. Yummy. Hubby had the chimichanga & I had 2 crunchy tacos. The food came out hot & quickly & were large portions and flavorful meat. I really liked the crunch on the shells. The salsa isn't too hot either. The prices are very good for the quality & the area. We'll definitely be back.

We purchased a coupon package for Casa Caliente from some high school kids for their football team fundraiser. We had come here several times years ago, but kind of forgot about it because we're big fans of the local small-chain competitor Los Dos Potrillos. Since we had the coupons, we decided to give this establishment a try. The portions are enormous, the house margaritas very tasty, and the complimentary chips come with three different salsas for dipping - a very mild corn salsa, pico de gallo, and a salsa picante that's perhaps a little spicier than that found in most local Mexican restaurants. We've returned a couple of times and found the food quite good, and the service friendly, prompt and courteous each time. My one mild complaint is that the food could be hotter when it comes out of the kitchen. The coupons expire with the New Year, so we'll be torn between Casa Caliente and Los Dos the next time we're hungry for Mexican. The Littleton and Highlands Ranch locations of Los Dos Potrillos get really packed on the weekend, so this might be a good alternative for those who don't like to wait for a table.

We had our office Christmas dinner here this past week. We were seated in an area that we could not all fit comfortably but the waitress did her best to accommodate us by moving a table. The chips are pretty good. Warm and a little oily. The queso was decent and there were three salsas that were good. The guacamole was fresh and very good. I ordered the shrimp fajitas. Not so bueno. Lacking flavor throughout. The refried beans are too thin and the rice was mushy. Only one shrimp seemed to have any seasoning on it and the peppers and onions were way over cooked. Good thing I filled up on the chips and dips.

This place is a hidden gem for Mexican food and reasonably priced. The food is incredibly tasty, and I knew it was going to be good from the first bite of the beef taco--that's when you know the rest of your meal will be great. I got the #2 beef platter, and my husband had the Chile Relleno, which was crispy and perfect. The refried beans were also delicious. We enjoyed a frozen margarita, which complemented our meal perfectly. This spot stands out among the lately overpriced and less flavorful Mexican restaurants around town. I'm definitely coming back.

My family frequently orders takeout from Casa Caliente...about every week, actually. My wife always gets the cheese enchiladas and I get either the tamales plate or chimichanga, and our sons love the burritos or tortas. We order from here so freak only because without fail the food is delicious. Can't recommend them enough and will definitely continue to order from here. And don't forget the corn nuggets!

Our server was a nice guy, but that was the only positive. I've been shidding n farding since 2:30am after eating here. I'm talking forceful splatters and I feel bad for my toilet after what I'm putting it through.I had the grande burrito and it wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. It was soggy and there was barely any beef. The beef that was in there didn't taste seasoned. If you like wet bland burritos, you'll love this one. We got enchiladas and they were also bland and barely had any protein in them. The meal was the Mexican equivalent of a bad hotel breakfast platter of wet eggs. I wanted it to be good, but it was even worse than it looked. It actually kind of looked like what I left floating in my toilet. Tim R. come at me bruh I'm ready for you
