The atmosphere is vibrant and stunning. The service was superb, and the food was even better. The patio is an excellent spot to relax while sipping on drinks that are almost bird bath-sized! My group of five ordered carne asada, chorizo, chicken, El Pastor, and chili rellenos. They did not disappoint; each dish was moist and flavorful, wrapped in double corn tortillas that were bursting with juicy goodness with every bite. I am definitely returning to this place!

The food was good, drinks were good. The prices were high. I went with very small appetite, they will not let you do a half order or get anything from the kids menu. Wasted food.

The service was great but the drinks were subpar, as was the food. Maybe bec we were there on a Monday? But seriously, my Pollo Loco was missing the mushrooms and tasted more like a mole. My margarita was lacking in all regards. My husband's grilled taco salad was equally disappointing. Not really sure how this place garners its ratings!

Delicious traditional Mexican food served quickly and from very friendly servers. The patio is lovely and the best place to enjoy your meal on a pleasant day. Great margaritas and yummy steak fajitas!

This was the best food and service! Absolutely delicious!!! The chips and salsa were super delicious too! The salsa is so fresh with cilantro and onions and herbs. I'd love to go here every week if we lived close by.

We had driven up to Leadville and were on our way back and decided to try this place out. When we arrived, it looked like we were in for a long wait. The parking lot was full and there were several people in front of us. But we only waited for about 10 minutes. The service was excellent and the food was even better. The next time I'm in Salida, I will definitely stop in. The fish looked amazing. Try it out!

I had high hopes that started fading fast once the chips and salsa arrived (straight out of a bottle, I'm sure). Granted, all I had was the chicken mole lunch special, but holy smokes was this mediocre. The ambience is nice and I tipped the staff well, but I will not be going back. Not sure how it gets 5 stars...Tacos el Tapatio downtown is miles better for slightly less $$.

Found this awesome restaurant on or way back to Denver during a stop in Salida. Delicious food, excellent service and a very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth the stop.

We we're driving through town and stopped on for lunch off of US-50. What an amazing experience: food was incredible, service was pleasant and ambiance was on point too! I ordered the pina loca off of the specialty menu and I'm so glad I did! The entire menu looked incredible but I saw pineapple and put the menu down. I apparently didn't read the menu well enough because i was pleasantly surprised when it came out inside a pineapple!!! It was eye appealing and delicious!My husband ordered the Fajitas Trio from the specialty menu and loved it too.We sat on the beautiful patio which had ample shade.Will definitely return!

If you like spice, this place is nice! Great service, ambiance, and food. Chips & salsa at the table. The Pollo mole was great, chocolaty and spicy.
