I love this little gem. Yes, it's a park in a residential neighborhood. It's fairly small, but has a pond that attracts wildlife, a free library box, a playground, and a path for running/walking enthusiast. It's usually empty, except for a few people walking the path, and the occasional kids in the playground. There is also a reflexology path, but walking barefoot in the park, not really my thing.

I used to come here often my kids. But there have been these kids, unsupervised that practically live here. They have the worst language and the way they talk about females or to each other is disgusting. I can't bring my youngest around here listening to their behavior and language. The park isn't as clean or maintained as it used to be either. Thankfully I have a million more to choose from!

Nice park with a playground, eating area, pond, and walking path. The playground has something for toddlers as well as older kids. There were lots of ducks to see at the pond and a covered picnic area for us to eat lunch. Main downside is there is no bathroom.

This is a beautiful park tucked away in a neighborhood. I love coming here to see the ducks and let my son play. It's a great place to walk the dogs too. My only complaint is there's never any kids here for my son to play with!

Went to Carson Park for my son's 1st birthday. Great quiet atmosphere with a shelter (although you cannot reserve it), and a fun play area. Overall great experience except we were overtaken by bees in the shelter area (approx 30-40) then entire time we were there terrorizing the guests and food.
