Carnelian Coffee

Nice coffee shop with fast friendly service. I was happy to discover they were still offering their vegan restaurant week specials. I got a chorizo biscuit sandwich and a coffee with oatmilk. The biscuit was flaky and delicious and the vegan cheese and green chili sauce were really good. Would definitely come back again.

First time visiting. The cafe was so welcoming. I love the aesthetic - very hippy and lots of crystals. LGBTQ+ Friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the garden biscuit sandwich - I loved the homemade biscuit, great texture. All of the ingredients complimented each other. I had the vanilla rainbow cold brew float, and it was delicious. I got a cherry blossom matcha to go - the cherry flavor complimented the matcha so nicely.The service was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful!Can't wait to return!

After the Manitou Incline, wanted to grab coffee before heading back home. While riding the shuttle bus back to the parking lot, Yelp search directed us to this location. There are street parking at the front but also have plenty around the corner.This portion of the street is filled with many cute shops and restaurants. Once inside the restaurant, we ran into several hikers we met on the Barr trail. Very unique food and coffee menu, all beans roasted on site. They use reusable mugs and cups. We did ask for to go cups but felt guilty for not bringing my own cups.It's very laid back place to enjoy drinks and have light breakfast while catching up with friends. Loved the idea of sticky to cover over the vent hole instead of bulky plastic insert you get at other place. They also carry various gift items.Definitely deserves a repeat visit.

Tourist Review: The coziest spot for a coffee in Old Colorado City! Nothing beats sitting in the window of a cozy cafe during the first snowfall of the year. I love how spacious it is inside with a variety of tables and couches to both work and lounge. The tall ceiling and plants galore give off the best vibes. I enjoyed my honey cinnamon latte and thought it was so cool that they use all kinds of different mugs... such a cute characteristic!

I was really excited about this coffee shop and just unfortunately found that I was left a bit disappointed by the drinks but enjoyed the food.We were so excited about their unique drinks, but found that all three we tried undelivered. I love that they make their own syrups, but am wondering if they're not concentrated enough because we just felt like all the drinks were kind of bland, they almost all tasted just watery. The owner and employees were super nice and the atmosphere is cozy. The food was good and well-priced, though there was practically no chimichurri on my RBG burrito which was disappointing but it was good otherwise.TLDR: I'd be back for the food, not the drinks.

We were walking around old city and wanted to rest someone and grab some drinks. There was hail outside and we came inside. I wanted to go to the bathroom to wash my hands before I ordered and I asked staff where the restroom was, she looked at me and said that "it's for customers only". Place was empty and people there were just doing work. It wasn't popping. I told her that I will order after I wash my hands. I ordered some hot tea. Tea selection was good, and place is cozy and comfortable, they have nice seating and pleasant environment, however it was unpleasant to be told that I needed for buy something first before I go to the restroom, so weird.

Was super excited to try this place - the decor was inviting and menu seemed intriguing. Sadly the food did not deliver but the coffee was good. We were looking forward to a ciabatta breakfast sandwich but they didn't have it - only focaccia. We normally love bread but this sandwich was cold in the middle and just didn't deliver

This spot is very quaint and welcoming! Also I love to see my coffee being made = loves pour overs. Absolutely delightful cafe, my lady and I really enjoyed a quick sip here. And their Claw game...you always win, and the prizes are definitely worth it!!!
