"The restaurant is located in a small strip mall just northwest of Parker Rd and Mainstreet. Parking was pretty easy and light shown in from the front windows.We walked in to a smaller restaurant, smaller tables. A waitress told us to sit anywhere and brought over some menus.The appetizers were spring rolls and hot and sour soup with shrimp. The waitress actually brought us two bowls to split the soup, which was nice.Entrées included Drunken Noodles with Chicken and Thai Basil Chicken. You can custom order your heat - it was spot on. The meal and service was fantastic.The walls had a couple of pictures so if you want decor, this might not be the place. But if you want good food, check it out."

"On the outside, this place looks a little run down but the food is pretty good. You see a bunch of awards when you walk in so this was the place to go for Thai food back in the day. I live in Aurora and I never knew it existed. It's located in the plaza right behind the Pacific Ocean Market plaza.The papaya salad was quite good. It was a nice sour salad and a fun way to add in some greens to your meal. If you're ordering the pad Thai, order it with me. I ordered it with veggies and the veggies somehow made it really sweet. Definitely tastes better with either tofu or beef.I would skip on the chai tea. It's pretty average and tastes like a powdered drink. Really sweet."

"This establishment appears to be family owner. It has the charm of a small town cafe. I like to imagine that they know the names of their regulars. We stopped by here to enjoy a meal before going to Garden of the Gods and the reviews did not disappoint. The food is very tasty and made in a unique way that still showcases iconic Thai flavors while taking advantage of local ingredients. We tried pad kra pow, Panang fish curry and veggie fried rice. Pad kra pow is minced meat with veggies. It had Serrano instead of Thai and it also had green beans and bell peppers, which I wasn't used to but have since begun adding it to my meal at home for a more balanced diet. The theme of balance is observed throughout the remaining dishes. Lots of veggies to counter the meat and carbs. Is it enough? 100% not. But it's definitely more than I expected and a great head start on some much-needed fiber fueling. Definitely will be back next time we're in Colorado Springs!"

"Wow. I don't even know where to start...This is a diamond in the rough for sure. Literally everything we ate was superb. The restaurant isn't anything special and avoid the restroom but the food is so so so good. We started with peanut satay, wonton soup both mild and spicy, new spring rolls and the owner gifted us some pork wontons. All were so delicious. Very flavorful and made with love. The entrees were all five stars and bursting with flavor. Chicken pad Thai with fresh noodles. Garlic chicken. Masaman curry, was a bit like a Panang curry and probably my favorite thing. Barbecue chicken. This is so much meat and only like $13We also received a selection of dessert items including rice and mango with coconut cream. Gosh, it was delightful and very thoughtful. The owner and her daughter treated us so nicely and it felt so genuine. I would come back here in a heartbeat it's just so damn far from downtown lol."

I'd seen Spicy Basil a few times before, but hadn't tried it yet. WOW! Was I impressed tonight!!!! My food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Royal Chicken and the Tropical Fried Rice, and both were/are phenomenal. I intentionally ordered enough to have leftovers for at least two more meals, and am so happy I did. The food was fresh-tasting, with all the right flavors. It was finally trustworthy, reliable Chinese food.As of now, this is my new go-to! :-)"

"Review Update: Starting ordering again from Asian Spice after the COVID years and a major remodeling of the restaurant, and as before did not disappoint. Using the free online app Beyond Menu, I ordered pickup (delivery also available), which provided online updates and was ready right on time.Hot and Sour soup was spiced to the requested level and had the correct consistency expected to this soup. The entrees of Chicken Lo Mein and Roast Duck were both prepared well and were well portioned for takeout. The nice addition to the menu is the options for Roast Duck and BBQ pork, which my order of roast duck was very good. The one drawback of ordering the whole or half duck was the absence of a side of steam rice, which seems to naturally accompany a dish like this.Overall, Asian Spice still is a great place for Asian dishes and will continue to visit the restaurant in the future."

"Have been going to Johnnys for several years and have never been disappointed. Even during Covid, they were top notch. Food was very good and good portions, especially their lunch deals. Easy to order over the phone, online or in person and the order is always accurate, on time and ready for pickup or quickly served and hot and fresh. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the place is always clean or well kept. Admittedly the bathrooms are not great (dated) but decent and functional. Seems odd to post about them but want to be fully transparent in this review. We get the crab wontons on every trip and the egg drop soup is awesome. They never disappoint. The chicken was not overly sweet, which is uncommon but nice, and the wontons were some of the best I've had! A nice surprise was there were steamed vegetables under the chicken, I was not expecting it and tasted so good. You can have your preference in spice level. I got the hottest level, which was still definitely good but not uncomfortable. The ambiance inside is nice. Nice tables. I loved the chairs. They were very nice and comfortable (so many restaurants have wobbly chairs). Service was good. They are quick to seat you, take your order and food comes quickly. Once the food comes, they kinda leave you be, so sometimes you need to flag them over for refills, etc. Overall for the food and the quality and the price, this can't be beat. The $9 lunch special is amazing (especially in these times)."

We live in Sedalia, and I was just looking for close Asian food for pickup while I was getting gas in town. We ordered the combination fried rice, orange chicken, cashew chicken, potstickers, and spare ribs. First of all, the chicken dish portions were ENORMOUS! I was expecting a little box like that the rice comes in, and it was easily three times the size of those boxes, enough for 3-4 people. The combination fried rice was packed with different meats and absolutely delicious. Huge portions. Fresh, hot, and spectacular. We were the only people there for awhile, but that didn't stop the server from being very attentive to us either. We were able to sit at a four top table to take everything in.I had a wonderful Thai tea to start my meal before diving into my Pad Thai. I think I went a little too conservatively with my spice level though. I usually stay mild until I can feel out a place since some place skew hotter than others. Overall, I still enjoyed it and would come back in the future if I'm in the area!"
