Michael M. "The PCC is an excellent glimpse into Colorado's past. I went there one late afternoon and there were no activities, but it's not hard to see this place would be an excellent place for kids and school groups, and adults will enjoy this place to.While walking down the gravel road, I took in the vast plains views, and contemplated what life would be like in the eastern plains as a settler trying to carve out a living in what is essentially a barren wasteland much of the year. I enjoyed the geese flying in formation, the cattle running in the distance but did not, unfortunately, see the antelope.I wasn't certain how much of the structures were real versus reproduction, a testament to the quality of the work put into the park. The road is lined with the remains of farm implements from several different periods of history. The trails provide a beautiful place to get a long gentle hike.If you love history, scenery and wildlife, this is the place to go. Just minutes from Denver, yet a world away."

His teachers are wonderful and really made our transition easy. They were very patient and really understood the emotional needs of our son when he first started, giving him lots of love and attention. I love the pictures I get of him during the day and the activities they do are both creative and a great learning opportunity. James T. "My two kids (11 year old girl, 9 year old boy) just spent a week at the Eagle Lake Rez (overnight) Camp and LOVED it!!!!The location is beautiful and there are so many amazing activities. Zip line, archery, the blob, inflatables, fishing and crafts galore. My kids connected well with their counselor and their fellow campers. Appreciate how they adjusted the Bible study for the different ages. My kids enjoyed the large group meetings where they were able to hear solid teaching from the Bible and worship God with a large group of kids their age. The staff were amazing and so focused on helping the campers have an amazing time connecting with Jesus and each other. There is a full medical team on-site to take care of any medical needs. You can apply for financial assistance. Our kids are already talking about going back next year."

Ann H. "epic food. epic lodging. epic fun. what more could you ask for? camp elim has hands down the best camp food i've ever had in my years of attending summer church camps all over the country. the highlights include fajitas and churros. :] the camp area isn't huge, but it's definitely big enough for a group of around 150. there's a little chapel/meeting building, two separate cabins that were completely renovated just a few years ago, and a dining hall building with some older lodging attached to it. the new facilities are so nice! no more squeaky thin metal frame bunk beds that have been used for who knows how many years and no more gross mattresses with holes covered with peeling duct tape. there's a huge grassy field for group activities and games, a pool, basketball court, tetherball poles, a huge gazebo, and a playground. further down on the other side of the camp, there's a zip line and a ropes course. oh, and a rec room in the basement under the dining hall with a mini rock wall, ping pong table, and plenty of old board games. if your group wants to dress up and take crazy pictures or have a skit night, there's a huge closet --more like room-- full of props you can borrow. if you ever get bored or run out of stuff to do, there's a great running trail alongside the camp, leading to a lake where you can go canoeing for something like a dollar or two. summer camp at camp elim is always a great time. the staff here are super friendly and the facilities and weather are beautiful!"

Jen Z. "Off the beaten path, super quiet, lots of trees and the cleanest campsite bathrooms I've ever seen.VERY reasonable rates - we paid $25 on a Friday night during the summer for a site with full hook ups. Showers are free, but they ask that you keep them short so that other campers will have hot water too... seems reasonable. The site is owned and run by the Church of the Nazarene, so they don't allow alcohol or drugs. No beer is a bit of a bummer, so I probably wouldn't stay long term, but it was great for a Friday night stop over when we were late getting out of town. Each campsite had a fire ring, and there was a pool somewhere but I didn't see it. There's a group pavilion for events. When we were there, theres was a church group of about 75 people. Still, the place wasn't noisy at all - in fact, we overslept because it was so quiet. It's not really set up for RV's. We have a 25 foot class A -- pulled into the first site off the street, which was 31 feet, but we would have had trouble getting further in. Better for trailers, campers and tents. Great experience though, and otherwise unadvertised as far as I could tell."

She started in the Birds class (10-19 months), and has been doing the Beasts/Super Beasts class (19 - 35 months). She loves her coach, Ms. Jennifer, and all the other staff. Ms. Jennifer is so enthusiastic and great with kids. I love her energy! They also hold different events throughout the year too (free for members). We've met and have taken pictures with Santa and the Easter bunny! The overall class structure is great. My toddler is very active and the Little Gym is a great way to safely burn energy and socialize with other little ones and grown ups. She's progressed so much in the past year. She can do somersaults, donkey kicks, swing on the bars, walk on the balance beam and jump off foam blocks. The classes are structured so the kids start to memorize what is going to happen in each class. But not to worry, the teachers do allow the kids to run around the gym if they don't want to do the activity.Honestly, the Little Gym is such a great way to introduce a sport to toddlers. It's also a great way for younger kids to learn structure, intro skills for gymnastics, and just socialize with other kids."

The owner, Prinal, is very present and cares a lot about the kiddos. They also care a great deal about finding good teachers and the curriculum is wonderful. My oldest learned SO much within a few weeks of starting in the 3-year-old room. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Aiza. My kids both love her and she handles every question or concern promptly and with care. Also special shout-out to Ms. Leeba, Ms. Traci and Ms. Dawna. My kids have had a great experience with all of these teachers and KA is very fortunate to have them. The cameras are very nice to have peace of mind to be able to check in on your kiddo throughout the day. Their app system to record updates and take pictures is very user-friendly and the teachers do a really good job of updating it so I have always felt well-informed about how my kids' are doing. They also go above and beyond by having family activities throughout the year. It's a nice opportunity to spend more time at the center to get to know the teachers and other families more."

It's hard to put into words how special this place is to me and so many others. You kind of just have to find out for yourself. Now it's a long drive and a big expense to ski anywhere with kids and you KNOW they won't last an hour out on the snow, so of course I never get around to taking them up with me. Enter the amazing Shredder school! It's close by, it's a lot cheaper than a lift ticket, and it's indoors! My daughter, who refuses to wear anything but dresses, loves skiing so much now that she will happily put on pants on Wednesdays for Shredder! THAT IS A HUGE DEAL!!! The guys do all the hard work of getting their boots and skis on, getting them up the hill, and teaching them all the skills they need to hit the snow with mom and/or dad. By next winter I'm confident she'll be able to make some real turns with me when we get out, or be able to have a half day in ski school without it being all tears, because Shredder School has made skiing SOOO much fun for her!"

She started about 3 months ago and LOVES it here. She has not had any new teachers in the time she's been there, and it shows. She has a very clear bond with her teachers and even asks to go to daycare on the weekends. At drop-offs, she hugs me and runs into her classroom. Even when she's having a tough morning, ALL of the staff jump in to help and are wonderful at redirecting her.We have noticed how much she is learning - she comes home and sings the songs they sing together, she tells us all about her day, and her friends. It is a Christian camp, and while some of the students had been there previously with church groups, others with no religious affiliation expressed some angst at what to expect. We had a wonderful experience, and I was blown away by professionalism and expertise of the staff. While they obliviously do well with church groups, they are also great with secular groups. The classes the students took ranged from survival skills, to bouldering, to animal habitats, to archery, to high ropes, to pioneering. The kids had a wonderful time, the food was good, and the staff was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Their campus is in beautiful, peaceful, Bailey. Not too far from the city, but far enough to get away. A great place to have any church, school, or even business retreat!"
