Led by Ms. Lynne, who has won community awards as an outstanding teacher, the team of instructors is motivated, kind, intelligent, loving, and actively engaged in your child's learning. Together they have decades of teaching experience and many have Master's degrees in addition to special instruction on teaching/leading the Montessori method. My oldest children attended Sidewalk's End for the entire three years we lived in Colorado Springs. My oldest graduated from Sidewalk's End and attended our local elementary school this year. She excelled in every area, due to her great foundation established at Sidewalk's End. I could not be happier as she continues to be excited to go to school every day. My other daughter was lucky enough to continue at Sidewalk's End this year where she continues to grow and learn at her own pace and focusing on her areas of interest. She is happy, bright, and socially adjusted. She also loves going to school each day! As a military assignment takes us away from the area, this school will be one of the things I miss the most. I cannot say enough great things about Sidewalk's End. You will love it!"

"Definitely one of the best day cares our daughter has been to this school is very personable, and my daughter was always excited to go to school this school is also extremely clean and doesn't smell like dirty diapers like others I have been to around the springs. The teachers here are very good and will provide you with a daily report on what they worked on, how your child did, etc. Overall I was extremely satisfied with this day care and would highly recommend to anyone."

"My daughter has been going to this daycare for about 4 months and she's so happy there. She loves going to school every day and doesn't even care when I leave which is how you know she's loving it! Her teachers are the sweetest and you can tell all the staff really cares about all of the kids there. They are super thorough and detailed and even have the kids eating healthy food all day. I'm so pleased with this school and will be sending my son here as soon as he turns one!Edited to Add that the security is awesome there too!"

"My son goes to Park Meadows KinderCare part-time and we've had a great experience here. The director Karena is very nice, as is the rest of the staff. They are all so friendly every time I drop off or pick up. Also, they have been very flexible with us/not at all hesitant to answer any questions, so I appreciate the great customer service. As far as the curriculum is concerned, my son's preschool class is actively learning and practicing counting and colors, and his teacher is really interactive with the class. He comes home from the center saying he had fun every time. I would definitely recommend this center if you are looking for a daycare."

"We have had such a positive experience sending our daughter to Primrose. She started at 15 months and is now 22 months, during this time she moved up a class. All of her teachers have been so good with her! They are energetic and attentive! And we really trust leaving our toddler here. When we first began, she did cry during dropoffs but after two weeks, she adapted and loves going to 'school'. Primrose has a great curriculum and the children engage in many activities including: drawing, painting, water activities, reading, puppets, rhymes, etc. When the weather is nice, the kids go outside to play the playgrounds.Although it's a bit of a drive for us, we love Primrose."

"We have had a great experience at Kiddie Academy Lone Tree. This is the 3rd childcare center we have used since my oldest was a baby and by far the best. The owner, Prinal, is very present and cares a lot about the kiddos. They also care a great deal about finding good teachers and the curriculum is wonderful. My oldest learned SO much within a few weeks of starting in the 3-year-old room. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Aiza. My kids both love her and she handles every question or concern promptly and with care. Also special shout-out to Ms. Leeba, Ms. Traci and Ms. Dawna. My kids have had a great experience with all of these teachers and KA is very fortunate to have them.The cameras are very nice to have peace of mind to be able to check in on your kiddo throughout the day. Their app system to record updates and take pictures is very user-friendly and the teachers do a really good job of updating it so I have always felt well-informed about how my kids' are doing. They also go above and beyond by having family activities throughout the year. It's a nice opportunity to spend more time at the center to get to know the teachers and other families more."

Little Sprouts Learning Center

"PARENTS BEWARE:Feeding our baby breast milk from a stranger's mother was the final straw. But this was preceded by an instance of walking in on one of the caretakers shaking a crib a little too vigorously for comfort (all the while saying "GO TO SLEEP, GO TO SLEEP...."), and two months later my wife saw an open notebook where the teachers communicate during shift change where she read "fu*#! This MotherF@#$ing place see you all in hell tomorrow..." Given that the well-being of our children are in these people's care while we're off working each day, I'd expect that kind of behavior would result in an immediate firing. But despite our reports, not an apparent slap on the wrist resulted.Our infant was diagnosed with repeat cases of RSV (3 times) and ear infections several times. We feel this has a lot to to with a somewhat apathetic enforcement of their rules for sending sick children home and a generally unsanitary environment overall.This was all a shame, because there were some teachers that we really liked, but we just couldn't wait for another incident.The new daycare that we found was a bit more of a drive, but it's like night and day: When you walk into Young Scholars Academy, it's immediately like day/night from Little Sprouts. Everything is clean, it smells nice, each classroom has a structured curriculum posted with lessons in history, science, etc.. And mostly you can just tell that the vast amount of money you pay goes back onto making the daycare a much better place.At Little Sprouts, it's become very apparent that the money you pay goes into the bank account of a single person who exists behind the curtains. They don't even fill their hand sanitizers, bathrooms have been found to be missing either soap or paper towels (my personal pet peeve).2 stars out of sympathy mostly, for the few good teachers that have to endure working at this place."

"I have nothing but great things to say about this La Petite. My daughter who is 4 was in the pre-k class here. Unfortunately we had to move so she was only there for 4 months but you wouldn't believe how much she learned in the short amount of time. Ms.Kris and Ms.Melissa are very good at sending out recap emails of the children's progress each day so you know what to follow up on when your child is home from school. All of the staff is friendly and they made our transition here extremely easy. I would recommend this pre-k program to every and anybody! It's well worth it for your child to be ready for kindergarten!"
