"I love going to running specific stores. I just feel that the employees are more helpful with meeting your running needs and they have above average knowledge on running a shoes, attire, equipments, etc. I also like how you can run on the treadmill and they record you and then recommend a shoe based on how you run. They also have the cool Dr. Scholl's machine that tells you how you stand and where you apply most pressure on your feet. I also learned that one foot is slightly larger than the other!! I was told this is pretty common tho. I picked up some great massagers that I've had my eye on for about 1 year. The selling point for me was the price and the great military discount they offered. They also have a shoe collection bin. They'll take any of your old running shoes (condition doesn't matter) and recycle them."
"This became our local hangout while in town. We were snowed in for longer and continued to go back for more! Great drinks and service. Everyone was super friendly. We absolutely loved the trivia at the bar upstairs. Highly recommend!"
"Today, two friends and I took a SUP yoga class with Colorado SUP Sports! We had a fantastic time at Chatfield reservoir. Here's what you need to know:1) They supply it all- yoga instructor, SUP, life jacket, anchor (so you don't float Away during yoga, and paddle) for $26.50 if you sign up on their website. They'll let you borrow crokies2) Anyone who is comfortable in water and knows downward dog should try it. Very fun, relaxing, and challenging due to the lack of stability even in easy shapes. 3) You actually get in a real flow with warrior 2, reverse warior, plank, tree, side angle, cobra, bridge, wheel, happy baby, crow and inversions (if you dare), and shavasana!"
"Lockwood Backcountry Guide Service is a wonderful time outside the city. Want to explore the land the way it naturally is? Then you should take a trip with Lockwood Backcountry Guide Service!"
"Great everything sports store! From clothing to hats to boats and waterproof everything!Very friendly and knowledgeable personnel. I love how they know their customers and remember them on the first name basis so when you ya back they ask you about the trip you just took on the river and you can literally be there and talk for a Long time. Love it love it!"
"This place is absolutely incredible. My girlfriend and I headed down for the yearly opening day of the his museum and machine gun shoot. Mel B, also know and "Dragon Man", might have the most impressive war and weapons museum outside the Smithsonian itself. He has guns, machine guns, tanks, APC's, mortars, bazookas and vehicles. The tour is extensive and covers the revolutionary war through today. He covers everything from George Washington to the holocaust of WW2. He has hundreds of original uniforms, helmets, gear and even communication equipment. The tour takes about 90 minutes and you receive in depth background the pieces he has and how he acquired them. It's absolutely amazing. A true walk down history lane. The tour include his famous "50's" room whit hall sorts of memorabilia and cars etc from the 1950's. I simple cannot say enough about the museum. It has to be seen to be believed. As a gun store, this place is also first rate. I've purchased several rifles and pistols from Dragon Man and all the purchases have been easy, direct and honest. The prices are competitive and his daughter knows about everything there is to know about guns and their legal use. As a shooting range this place is awesome. It's well marked, outdoors, safe and simple. There are several ranges to choose from according what your shooting and the distances you are shooting. They rent guns of all kinds to shoot, including fully automatic weapons. They call Dragon Man the most armed man in America and k believe it. The press and politicians seek his opinion and various gun related matters and Mel is always happy to help. I highly recommend Dragon Man's as a museum, fun store and shooting range. They also have an outdoor motor or track and a machine shop. I can't really comment on those as I've never used them but I would guess they are as professionally run and useful as the the other rated attractions I reviewed today. Thank you Dragon Man for an incredible experience and a fabulous day out with my friends."
"What a sweet coffee shop. Very helpful for hikers looking for advice too! The burrito was on point too. Very friendly."
"We had a very good experience here when my son bought a bike. They stayed a. It after closing to get the bike and bike rack ready. All our questions were answered as well. They have a good selection of bikes and equipment. The sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable."
"This has been my go to shop since 2006 where I bought my first set up - Sage Launch with a Orvis Battenkill 3, which I still use. My last set up from them was my air 2 with guru - a huge step up. Anglers All took care of my needs in the beginning and since. Always professional, always polite and always available to help."

I've always wanted to check out this store and I was glad I did! The staff are very nice and knowledgeable about running shoes and helped me to selection the type of Hoka shoes I wanted. They didn't have the right color I was looking for, but I still found coming in helpful to get more information and try on shoes. They have a treadmill where you can try out your shoes and lots of accessories for running. They are able to order shoes online and have them shipped to the store or your home. Great place for all of your running needs whether you're new to the sport or been doing it for years.

Fantastic place to stop for drinks in Breckenridge! Great atmosphere, bartenders know how to make a great drink, and everyone is just having a great time. Also great music!!! Definitely worth stopping by while in town.

This is my favorite store (and my husband's too). They have tons of gear for your water related adventures, but they also have a great boutique vibe in the front area. I always find just what I need and then some. Great selection of casual clothes, hats, stickers, bags.

This place is amazing! We did the guided tour.. All things military on display. The tour is about 2.5 hours in length. The staff is very knowledgeable and answered questions as we went along. There is a display for every war our American Heros were involved in. The owner himself is involved in the tours as well. The displays are put together very nice and you can get up close to see the details, please don't touch. There are a few graphic items on display so if you have a weak stomach, be warned. There is so much too see you will have to go through more than once to catch everything. The only disappointment that I have are that the uniforms and older cars are completely covered in plastic and it's really hard to see the details and the tour feels a bit rushed.

Super cute coffeeshop! After going to City on the Hill for a few days in a row, it was refreshing to check out somewhere new. Seems like someone repurposed their house, and I'm here for the aesthetic. Love the gear shop in the back that you can browse while waiting for your order. Got a delicious Lavender Latte that was perfectly caffeinated and not too sweet. Everyone working here is awesome. Can't wait to come back again!

I bought a new e-bike from an internet dealer. The bike was perfect but it wasn't working exactly as the manual indicated. I called around town and the "Brian's" at Pro Cycling said they could troubleshoot and download the latest software. It's working great and it didn't cost much at all. Great shop and terrific service.

"Found this on Yelp and went here looking for a specific hat brand they carried and some walking shoes. Turns out this store is in a really cute area of CO Springs. I had been here years before and forgot about all of these cute boutiques and restaurants around here. Anyway, the salespeople here at the store were very friendly and helpful. They did have the brand of hat I was looking for-wallaroos-but not the particular style. But I ended up finding a different brand instead that I loved! My friend was trying on Keen's and we both ended up getting the same pair of shoes-on sale from $100 to $60 so we were thrilled. They also carry Sanuk shoes there too-my friend got some of those too. So we are set for walking for our vacation! This store had all kinds of travel and outdoor gear. I just didn't really need anything else at the time but it definitely is worth returning to!"
"We visited this shop looking for T-shirts and also found some very nice insulated water bottles with strainers for tea. The owner was so friendly and pleasant to visit with. Awesome store with good prices. Highly recommend this store for your fitness gear."
"If you are not in a hurry, you should come for the quality beverages and great baristas!!! If you need a quick bite with your beverage, maybe checkout another local spot? The food selection was super limited on the morning I visited, only 3 muffin type choices in the case. I saw someone get severed a panini but never saw it on the wall menu. I'll try it again next time I'm in town, maybe I visited on an off day?"
"The guys and gals over at Gearonimo Sports have a really good thing going!! The great outdoors seems to be getting a little more expensive with new gear and supplies always adding up costs especially in this State, they have tons of new and used gear from kayaks, hiking and anything outdoor related that is lightly or heavily used but, still in good shape. I was looking for a newer backpack and they were more the helpfully and the gear itself is sweet to just see what's in the store and available for the coming seasons! They are recycling gear and helping folks get back to the mountains for a lot less!Love this shop!"
"Mountain Equipment Recyclers in Colorado Springs is one of the City's best Hiking, Climbing and Outdoor gear shops. The selection is always changing with the seasons and the service/employees have always been great whenever I get the need to pick up some gear or clothing for a trip. The selection is mostly recycled gear that is lightly used and a whole lot cheaper than retail prices for the same gear brand new, as well as a smaller new section that is still much less expensive than the other major chain outdoor stores! The website keeps a pretty good update of the current inventory in the store but, it's still better to go for a visit, browse and talk with the folks working to see what they recommend."
"Very helpful, friendly, fast, and knowledgeable! Went in for a cargo box, they helped us pick the best one for our family and installed it quickly. We will definitely give them our business again!"
"I've come here a few times since I work in Canon. I really like talking to Bob, guy is super friendly and helpful. Broke the tip off my fly line and he gave me advice to use some sealant. He nail knotted a perfection loop of amnesia to my line for free."
"We tried to schedule a lesson. The person that answered was so pleasant. Told me he couldn't help but would have Bob call me back. Bob called back and was more pleasant than the person before. My 6 year old grand daughter wanted to paddle board. Bob said she would have to ride with him. He was an excellent teacher. The whole experience was simply amazing. My family from Seattle will be here in 2 weeks and we will do this again. Pueblo is a great place for out door activities.. I can't wait to do it again! Yay!"
"Fun place, especially if you happen to pop in here on the 4th of July like I did. The inside seating is somewhat small but there's front deck sitting and standing room, and a large back patio that also had a bar (less options). It was like a day club with a DJ, people dancing and everyone just having a blast. 'Merica! They have a full bar, local draft beers and wine. Which was perfect since I'm a craft beer drinker and my friend enjoys wine. The only thing that was weird to me is of course they check ID and stamp your hand, but I didn't really understand why when there were a lot of kids everywhere- granted they were obviously too young to drink, but it was still odd. I later learned that Breck is a big place where people bring their babies and kids to bars. I'm not opposed but I know I don't bring mine back home because it's nice to get away."
"This place checks all the boxes for an easy 5-star review: Awesome products and cool gear (bikes in particular).Excellent Customer Service, going above and beyond!Very passionate about what they do which translates into great product and local area knowledge.Family run business!Priced right. All in all could not be happier with our experience. We stayed in CO Springs for a wedding but I had my eye on the trails so there was no way i was gonna miss out on a few rides when time allowed. Routes came up in one of our searches and it was about a 10 minute drive from where we stayed, perfect. Son and I were fitted with a couple of Mondraker's (Foxy for him, i ran a Factor RR) and we were off! Hit Red Rock Canyon which is literally in their backyard, less than a 5 minute ride and were were at the foot of the hills. Beautiful terrain that made the hard work of the climbs a little easier....you gotta work for your reward but the payoff on the downhills were so worth it!As mentioned, we were pressed for time so only got a few hours in but Jason was kind enough to work out a deal to come back a few days later and get another ride in. This time I came with my Niece and hit repeat. Fitted to the bikes and off for another awesome ride back at Red Rock. [X] One of the best, don't miss it!"
"My son started his swimming lessons last year here (he is 13yo). As a beginner, I knew he would either start with toddlers and get private lessons. I always drove by underwater connection and thought this place was for divers. They are reasonable priced and very attentive. He enjoys his lessons very much and appointment time is flexible rather than I fit into their schedule ! Kudos !"
"Had an excellent experience renting ski gear from Main Street Sports. Make your reservation and deposit online, then go for your fitting and get geared up. The best thing I would suggest is an evening appointment so you're set to hit the slopes first thing in the morning.Significant savings over the resort, really easy to deal with. We definitely thought we got good value."
