"Cherry Cricket, the famed black sheep of Cherry Creek, somehow still impresses after all these years. Hailed as one of Denver's best burger places, I'm shocked if anyone says they don't have an enjoyable burger here. When you see the legendary Duffy's sign you know you're in the right place. Entering the restaurant I've mostly received weird interactions upon entry. They do, in fact, seat you, but often times I've had bad luck and find myself waiting for an employee to seat us.There are plenty of dining rooms indoors like booths, community tables, and bar seating. But the Cricket is known for their massive outdoor patio. Part of it is covered underneath a gigantic tent set up, the other picnic table style seating overlooking the foot traffic of Cherry Creek. What to order at the Cricket? They do have some signature burgers they're known for that have won awards at burger festivals. The green chile relleno burger stands out because I don't know how they invented this concoction, but it's a beast of a burger that has DENVER written all over it.More often than not, the Cricket Burger is the pro move. A customizable half pound burger with the toppings of your choice. The one I had the other night was with American Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeños. It was cooked perfectly, an undeniable beefy flavor. It was a damn memorable burger.Oh. And the frings (with ranch) are a MUST.The knock of the star just boils down to the restaurant being too big, which means occasionally you feel like the forgotten stepchild depending on if your section is busy or not. On multiple occasions the service has been incredibly slow. Other than that, I'll continue to support this Denver institution. Here's to another 50 years, Cricks!"
"UPDATE!All of the things mentioned in my previous review still ring true! Although the menu is breakfast heavy and served all day, the lunch shines just as much and is OMG so good.++ The Ruben - Slow-cooked corned beef or roasted turkey, or both - with Swiss cheese and sauerkraut with Russian dressing on rye bread. Do yourself a favor and get the corned beef as the meat is generously layered with melty cheese and absolutely delicious! ++ SBLT - Griddled salmon with bacon, lettuce, tomato and basil mayonnaise served on multigrain bread. I know what you're thinking, "salmon, at a breakfast joint?". Well, let me tell you this sandwich was well cooked, layered perfectly and refreshing! My side of sweet potato fries were icing on the cake!Mom and I left with a full belly after a wonderful experience! When in the area, I'd easily return!"

"The space is pretty big in the lower level of the restaurant. There were several tables with patrons. It was still early in the evening when we were seated quickly yet the pizza did take a while to arrive although it was really delicious. Too bad I didn't have enough time to revisit this establishment to try other items on the menu.Heads up they have a few service charges that are not usual in most restaurants."
"This place is a gem! Excellent food and service! The service from the owner to the waitresses is always first rate. We ordered the swordfish and it was great followed by the raspberry cheesecake which is always the best. Place was hopping for a Thursday night which a testament to the quality of food and service!"
"Lucky Uptown, Denver. Affordable and healthy is in their neighborhood! Their focus is scratch-made and wholesome food made to order.Featured dishes:FARMHOUSE SCRAMBLE Two scrambled eggs with roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, spinach and provolone. Served with a green salad, roasted potatoes and toast. I added the pulled pork to it.BOGOTA Hash. Two over medium eggs,* chorizo, roasted sweet and white potatoes, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese .Patio out front. Catch some sun. Enjoy good food with good people!"
"We love Culinary Dropout! We stopped here for lunch in Denver before heading up to Steamboat. We visited during lunchtime on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty (though it is a very large space) so we were able to grab a table easily. We've dined at Culinary Dropout in Arizona, so we have a few menu items we love, including the pretzel bites - so good! And I love that they are served with a candle under the cheese so it stays warm. I went with the crispy shrimp caesar salad. This was so good, and the perfect size for lunch. I left feeling perfectly full. Our server was wonderful - I didn't catch his name but he was so friendly and checked in on us frequently. Another great experience at Culinary Dropout!"
"One of our go-to's whenever we come to Denver! You can't go wrong with anything that you order off of the menu. The food and drink service is quick and always accurate/consistent. Not to mention the location is super convenient and the ambiance is fantastic!"
"Just had the most excellent customer service at House Rock Kitchen! The Young lady at the register was so very helpful!! I needed a quick snack for a 15 mos old hungry toddler and she went back and got avocado slices for him while I waited for my to go order. I failed to get her name but she was excellent and very attentive!Food was fresh, healthy and delicious! Loved my House Rock Salad."
"I really wanted to like this place but for the $$$, not really worth it. We did their Valentine's Day menu, and I am not sure if that why the food was not great. Seems to me that they did not have quality control. Yes, they do ask you to cut your steak in half to check the cook but after waiting so long, all we wanted to do is dig in. The cook on my filet was definitely hitting the med-rare I requested. My husband's ribeye was rare right in the center. Good thing he did not mind it. The ends of Ribeye definitely hit temps though. With it being so packed and ofc highly rated (on Google), I had higher expectations. I was so shocked with my first bite that the steak (filet perry 4oz) was so salty. I felt like I was drinking ocean water. Fine, its a busy day. I tried the mash potatoes that it came with..... yup salty. I am not sure what happened there. Dessert was good. Choc Crunch Tower -- tasted like the Ikea choc crunch cake if you have ever tried it. Super sweet. And you cannot go wrong with the cheesecake. Service was great! Attentive waiter, I do appreciate that. We did end up waiting over 30 mins past our reservation time which is okay since it was Valentine's Day. Cocktails -- nothing to rave about, decent. Their Berry Mule was my favIf we ever go back, I would totally try their Pork Chop. We had they "famous" pork bites and that was *chef kiss*"
"Our cousin recommended this place for our date night. We arrived early for our reservation but were still seated quickly. We made it on time for happy hour so we ordered fish tacos, truffle tots and baked brie- all to share. The truffle tots were undercooked and tasteless. However, the fish tacos and baked brie were great. The baked brie is a MUST. So. Good. When we told the staff the tots were not good and we would like to order the Mac and cheese instead, they were on it. No issues at all. And the Mac and cheese was great. Drinks were great too. All in all, we enjoyed our meal and the staff."
"I'm not sure why they have such low ratings. When you walked inside, it was covered with cows. Even the bathroom had cow paintings and artwork inside. Thats why they call it the cow and eatery. You can either eat inside or the outside patio or the back closed off patio. The service is great, and they are quick and check on you frequently. When I asked for hot sauce, they brought over three from their own brand. I was impressed by all three. It felt like I was in the show hot ones on youtube, haha!!I found out that this place used to be just an ice cream shop with just outside seating, but renovated it for food and dessert with seating inside. I think that was a great idea. Food wise, I ordered for myself the seafood mac and cheese. I'm on a diet not eating fried food, so it was limited, and of course, I got myself dessert too. Their banana split was so good. I enjoyed it thoroughly even though I'm not a fan of chocolate. But their two flavors and all of the toppings together combined matched well. I would suggest getting their dessert as it's all handmade."
"My husband took me to Colorado, so, you'd best be sure I'd find a wild experience for dinner. This restaurant, Mona Lisa, located in Manitou Springs was just what the doctor ordered. Experience we received, for sure. It was interesting to cook our own food table-side but the experience was a true pleasure. Everything was so delicious that we had to take the desert home! Most definitely best for romantic dates... it's quite upscale, and I felt spoiled by all the service upgrades we normally don't get in restaurants that fit our budget! #monalisafonduerestaurant #gourmetrecovery #goodeatsontheroad"

Not sure why it took me so long to try cherry cricket but now that I have, I'm obsessed. Stopped in late on a Sunday night and it was still crowded! We got seated promptly and service was fast and timely. We got 2 burgers and they were kind enough to cut it for us and bring it out separately with separate pickles on each which we were pleasantly surprised by. The jammin poblano burger is probably the best burger I've had in a while. The big cheesy was also objectively really good. And the chipotle aioli was a must for the fries (which are ordered separately). Was really impressed by how delicious the burgers were and the vibes were also fun and energetic without being overwhelming. 100% will be back.

Jelly wins my award for cutest brunch spot I had the pleasure of dining in during my time in Denver! The restaurant is ADORABLE. If you love the color pink, and bright poppy fun vibes, you'll love this place. Everything we ate was so good. We didn't have a single complaint about anything we tasted. We ordered the smoked salmon and goat cheese scramble, French toast and a couple of their famed donut holes. All were delicious. That French toast was mouth wateringly good. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Denver!

We ordered the barrata after our waitress recommended it. We asked for the prosciutto on the side, as we had a vegetarian. When it was delivered I told the waiter we'd asked for the prosciutto on the side. "Did you tell your waitress that". Ah YES. That's why I'm telling you. He did not apologies or anything, just walked away. Not the best introduction. Our waitress was very good. Other staff were good too, just not the first guy. Given they tell you they're charging a 22% tip before you order, I'd expect it to be good. Food was good except the risotto. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto had little to no body and tasted like butter.

Stop by here for some dessert after dinner. Right when you walk in at the left-hand side, you'll see a dessert stand of at least 10+ desserts. We had an individual that was very helpful in helping us decide but it almost made it hard to choose since there there were so many good dessert to choose from. Ended up getting the fresh fruit tart and the triple chocolate mousse cake. The chocolate cake delicious and addicting all the flavors worked very well together. It wasn't too sweet which I liked. The fruit tart is a good recommendation for non-chocolate lovers. The fruit on top was very fresh and paired well with the almond butter pastry.

This is a wonderfully cute little bakery spot where you can get breakfast and lunch, too!I was looking specifically for a carrot birthday cake for coworkers and searched in the area online. So glad they were one of the spots to populate. This carrot cake was PERFECTION. The frosting is exactly how it should be, super cream cheesy and not sugary or gritty at all like some other places like yucky grocery stores do. The cake inside was super moist. I Loved the addition of pecans and strawberries. The strawberries goes so well with that cream cheese, too. Candied ginger can be more of a some like it some don't but I think it fits in this type of cake in the spice cake family -- and easy to avoid if someone doesn't prefer it. I personally think the strawberries & pecans are enough. And this cake wasn't too spiced either which I also liked. I will definitely be coming back to this bakery for more birthday treats, we celebrate monthly, and I will 100% be back for another amazing perfected carrot cake!!! I'm going to try to remember to ask if they can write HB on the cake itself instead of the separate chocolate placard because it just got wasted and was an extra up charge, too, that I didn't know about -- that should be an optional question with the order versus automatically added. It's just more to remember on my part that I wish they'd ask me instead. Please go support them they're amazing!!

Perfect walking distance to and from the Buell Theater. My friends and I recently saw WICKED! We had dinner at a sandwich shop around the corner and wanted dessert. My friend had been here before and suggested we go. It was easy to get a last minute reservation online. We were seated right away and our server came over and started us off with waters. We told him we were there for desserts and drinks. We noticed the restaurant offered two WICKED themed drinks! One was pink with tequila base, the other was green with vodka base. We got one of each and my friends really enjoyed them! The menu online did not reflect what was offered in the restaurant. We ended up getting three desserts to share. The Crème Brûlée, the mousse (not on the website menu), and the three assorted dessert flight (not on the website menu). Lets break each one down. The Crème Brûlée was offered as a cream or espresso flavor on the website menu so I asked for cream and the waiter said, "Oh it's lavender. Is that alright?" We said yes cause we wanted to try it. It was not our favorite. My friends have had lavender Crème Brûlée before and they said the flavor didn't seem right. It was my first time trying it so they let me tell them what I thought before they shared their thoughts so it wouldn't sway my thoughts. It tasted a little burnt to me. I was a little disappointed as Crème Brûlée is one of my favorite desserts. The Mousse. We all assumed it would be a chocolate mousse. Now if it said the flavor on the menu and we all glanced over it, that was on us. It was actually a passion fruit (we think) mousse! I actually really like it :) The fun chocolate overing and the fruity flavor mixed well together! We all enjoyed it!The three assorted dessert flight came with two cream puffs, three macarons, and three chocolates. The cream puffs were great! I thought just enough cream for a delightful bite. The macaron was wonderful! I got the vanilla (assuming) one and really enjoyed it. The chocolate was ok. I'm not the biggest coffee fan and I got the espresso (assuming) one. Which was funny cause my two friends got the other two and they said both of theirs were normal chocolate haha. I just happened to pull the espresso one haha.Over all it was a fun experience. Very cute inside and the noise level was about average so we weren't yelling at each other but still talking a little louder than normal. I hope to go back someday soon!

Oh my, it was a feast! Will definitely be back for more in the future. It's a bit chaotic, order first, sit down later palce. You might worry waiting in a queue and seeing the staff seem confused, but it's so worth it.They have lots of cool options like bowls, burgers, and sandwiches, and oh my, are those tasty. We tried nachos and guacamole, BBQ burger and brisket sandwich, and loved all of it. In hindsight, we shouldn't have ordered the nachos because there was so, so, so much food on our plates. The sandwiches came kinda broken down. You can add tomatos, greens, and sauces from your plate by yourself. While I will always stuff my burger, my partner goes for the simplest options possible, so this worked out great for us.They also have nice choice of tap beers and had a cider during our visit.Again, very, very tasty, big portions, great deal in a cool, casual spot. Lots of customers with dogs, too!Gluten free options and substitutions are plenty, and they don't charge for it! Finally, a place that doesn't scam people :) Plus, the gluten free bun was really tasty.

"The customer service and friendly atmosphere that we experienced at Carlos is rare to find in today's restaurant experience. We were greeted none other than Carlo himself and were treated to a fantastic fine dining experience during our time in Colorado Springs. The menu was unique, wine list solid and food was delicious and we had a wonderful time. We had the recommend this restaurant to anybody in the Colorado Springs area."
"I was impressed with Elway's. I came with a group of friends on the recommendation of one friend's father and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is lovely and one particular thing I liked about it was that it was lively but not deafening. For some reason, every high end steakhouse in NYC is so loud and filled with finance & tech bros trying to out-testosterone each other than you can't hear the person next to you. Elway's, by contrast, although filled with the Colorado equivalent of tech/finance bros-- but wearing cowboy hats-- had a good energy level but I could hear people across the table from me. Service was top-notch from start to finish. Scott was our waiter and he was exceptional...one member of our party has particular likes and dislikes and he handled everything with grace and aplomb. Matching the service was the food and drink. My rye old fashioned was spectacular. For food, I started by splitting a Caesar salad and that was wonderful. Then my 12 oz NY Strip came out and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. The sides were great too, especially the mashed potatoes, asparagus and spinach. I wasn't thrilled about the brussels sprouts as I prefer mine a little crisper but that's not the way they were prepared so I can't fault them. For dessert, my husband and I split a key lime pie that had a special anniversary message on it. It was a nice surprise and the tartness of the pie was a great coda to the meal. This was an exceptional meal from start to finish. I'd definitely go back...especially if someone else was paying because it is not cheap. But if you want a memorable place for a special occasion, you can't go wrong with Elway's."
"Came here after a long day with my husband and kids and it did not disappoint. The servers were friendly and the food was delish. All the beers we tried were great too. The vibes were chill and friendly. Will definitely come back."
"We've been to Table 6 several times...and it is always a hit.Cozy Comfy spot with great service and excellent food.Smallish menu with something for everyone."
"Fell in love with Breckenridge and this cool little diner played a huge role. Wonderful staff, excellent service and the food was uniquely wonderful. They even welcomed our dog and he received the bulk of the attention. This diner fits the town perfectly. Eclectic, high quality, happy people with a great attitude. Hard to ask for more. If you love Breckenridge, you will love this place. We are here almost daily during our stay."
"Geez, after reading the recent reviews on this restaurant, I was hesitant to go. But I'm so glad we did. I can see why it's the best happy jour in town. What a steal. But we weren't there for happy hour. We opted to come later to enjoy the outdoor seating. Our service was fantastic and Tom took care of us. There was a choice of mocktails which I appreciate. Everything we ate was delicious. We opted for the crudo (so spicy and delicious), the Korean fried chicken (just do it), the burger (fantastic flavors) and a special pasta. For dessert it was the cookies (yes, yes yes!) and the Elvis (a little spicy dessert). We enjoyed our meal and unanimously agreed this was a five star experience. We are glad we didn't listen to the other reviews!!PS-to be fair, working a huge table is never fun and never turns out well. So I take these large table complaints with a groan of salt."
"Came here for Father's Day. This restaurant is on a side of a hill with a spectacular view. How am I going to maneuver a wheelchair up this hill? No worries, they provide complementary parking which makes it an extra special event.Entering the restaurant provides a spectular view. We ordered a delicious Simms salad. The fried calamiri came with a surprise bed of healthy beans! Less guilt for eating this appetizer. We were then treated to complimentary homemade fresh hot bread! We ordered the most delicious fish dish I have ever had. The roasted miso sea bass was tender, flaky and not over cooked. This was accompanied by sticky rice and baby bok chiy. Our server Bailey provided attentive excellent service. I will be back."
"Great locals kind of place. Reasonably priced for food and drinks. I loved the loaded baked potato and the filet was decent and priced right. Worth a visit for sure."
"This place is definitely on the pricey side, for example, a well vodka was $10. But the service was great, it is a beautiful atmosphere inside, and the food was really good. It's probably a place I would not return to again, unless I won the lottery."
"As you can tell by the plethora of reviews, this is a spot to drop into. My favorite local restaurant in all of Parker, Colorado in addition to JuJu's Coffee! Consisent high quality Greek food at a more than fair price. EXCELLENT!"
"I took my husband here for our 14th Anniversary Dinner. The lighting is a bit low, and it can get a little loud after 6 pm, but In100% recommend this place to anyone looking for something different and special. The menu changes seasonally. We missed the fall menu change by 4 days, so check to see what they have. The 4 course is worth every penny and all the staff are friendly and helpful. I am not a fas of wine, so each got a nice cocktail as well. Will probably come back once a season to catch the menu changes"
"The atmosphere here was really cool and I stopped on to meet with am old friend that was in town. He got the porkchop with the mashed potatoes and really enjoyed it. I got the large corn dish (like street corn) and steak. The corn was awesome and the steak was ok (I'd pass on it next time). I tried some beer and liked the selection. I liked the seating at the bar area and will definitely check this place out again."
"This place is very impressive. Great service, the food is cooked to perfection and ambience is amazing. The staff greats you and very attentive. One of the best steakhouse in Colorado Springs."
"Potager is a fine dining farm-to-table restaurant. I ordered from the summer menu. The dishes I got (and most of the others on the menu) were light, crisp, refreshing. They use a lot of vegetables and herbs, with a few protein- and grain-based ingredients. There are some bold flavors and creative combinations. It's not exactly a vegetarian or vegan menu, but it almost could be. The menu changes occasionally, so it may have a different feel in a few months. The space is rustic. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Small issue: the zucchini carpaccio had lots of parmesan on it, and it was on a small plate. It was impossible to eat without getting parmesan everywhere. It would be better to serve the zucchini on a larger plate."
"We arrived to town after a long day of travel and just needed somewhere to get a good meal. We found this bistro and wine bar with a decent menu that has flatbread and burgers, though they are a little pricey I think it's apropos for the downtown area. The service was fine but a little short. It was still happy hour but they didn't offer us happy hour, though they did to the next table. We were too tired to argue. Ordered some spicy burger with cream cheese and it was amazing. Really hit the spot. Their cocktails are tasty. The cherry drink that came in a tall glass was too easy to drink at $15 each. The dining room is intimate, with nooks and crannies for small parties. I asked the server if the garlic fries come out crispy. He said they did but I asked for him to request a new dish. They were bad. They should have never left the kitchen. The pic included has the fresh fries that were perfect. Good spot for a decent meal in downtown. Just don't expect much."
"Denver has a bunch of delis, would be delis, pretend delis, sandwich shops that think they're delis, sort of Jewish delis, and the New York Deli News which is the closest thing we've got to a classic, New York City-style Jewish deli. It has been my favorite since they opened in 1989 and it is my favorite now. They hit all of my hot buttons: matzo ball soup, deli salads, chopped liver, a huge list of fantastic, overstuffed sandwiches (corned beef, pastrami, corned beef & pastrami!), blintzes, all day breakfast, and weekend brunch. The space was getting a little tired on my last visit several months ago, but I was surprised this visit with a fancy new sign, a new color scheme, new menus, a tidied up interior, and new systems, including very nice hand-held terminals for the servers. Everything ran very efficiently.I had my frequent order of blintzes on this visit. They were tasty, hot, and fresh. My friend had a very generously-sized cheese omelet which he enjoyed. I love the matzo ball (chicken) soup here. The matzo balls are always tender and the soup richly flavored. The sandwiches are great. You can't go wrong with any of them. This place hits the spot whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The New York Deli News is one of Denver's treasures. This is the place for the authentic New York deli experience. Accept no substitutes."
"I worked here 3 years ago and they have definitely upped the dessert quality and variety the HH $5 cocktails taste amazing... love the music selection this afternoon. Service with a smile and clean environment."
"Super friendly staff. Okay food. Decent drink specials. More of a restaurant with limited bar seating."
"Yum! Good service and pizza and atmosphere! Ding ding ding! I've been to the other two location but something about this particular one seems ultra friendly! And I love the spacious area. Pizza is as tasty as the other locations. Bravo!"
"Food: We ordered a ton of food because we wanted to TRY IT ALL! This is what I had and shared with everyone:SESAME QUINOA LETTUCE WRAPS: BIBB LETTUCE CUPS FILLED WITH ORGANIC QUINOA, CABBAGE, CARROTS, TOSSED IN A SESAME PEANUT DRESSING TOPPED WITH EDAMAME AND CUCUMBER DRIZZLED WITH A SPICY AIOLIThen had:STEAK & TEQUILA LIMESHRIMP. 100Z NI STRIP TOPPED WITH TEQULA LIME SHRIMP SCAMPI SERVED WITHROASTED GARLIC MASHED POTATOES AND FAITA VEGETABLESLastly had:BLACK & TAN BROWNIE OCC CREAMERY VANILLA ICE CREAM DRIZZLED WITH CHOCOLATE SYRUPBy far, one of the best meals I've ever had! The starter was so light and so fresh! My main entree was cooked perfectly and seasoned well! And the dessert was top 3 I've ever had! Service: The service here was definitely top 3 I've ever experienced. All the staff is so friendly and so accommodating. Our server Susan was absolutely the best server I've experienced in a long time. She was so personable and so accomodating. She went out of her way multiple ways to accomodate both of our tables. She also gave the best food recommendations Ambiance: It was perfect for what we came for! They have 2 levels! The first level was a bar/restaurant and had seating to accommodate our large party! We were looking to watch the basketball game and got a booth right across the TV so it was perfect! Then the upstairs was for 21+ with pool tables and more bar seating. They also had Kareoke the day we came! Which was kinda cool! Overall: 100000000/10 I would absolutely recommend this gem to all my family and friends! From the tasty food, to the impeccable service and not to the mention the lively and fun ambiance!"
"One cannot take away from the ambiance and view from this quaint restaurant/bar. It's beautiful and peaceful. We sat in the bar lounge area which was a pretty tight fit, but manageable. The menu is full of options from seafood to land food. We ordered some wine/cocktails with the Gnocchi and Burrata appy's.Gnocchi was dressed in a broth sauce, with pancetta, mushrooms and truffle peelings. This dish itself was oddly not very flavorful.. Cannot put my finger on it, but it was just like.. meh. Burrata, was fresh and flavorful. Onward to the entree's and the specials. I chose to go with the Halibut special and the wifey the Fall Risotto add Salmon. My Halibut had a crispy outside and overall I liked the dish. I will make a small remark and that is at $56, I would think a 6-8oz portion would be in order here. Then again, I live in Austin, where there is an abundance of restaurants and this price may be on point for Evergreen. Suzie enjoyed her salmon and pushed the risotto around, but didn't finish the dish. I had a bite and enjoyed the richness/earthiness of dish. For her, it was a little to much. Not terrible or anything like that, just very punchy. After dinner sweets and drinks where ordered with the Creme Brulee and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. These were both a great way to end the evening. Very Creme Brulee indeed. My overall impression of the evening was, they may not of been on their A game. Our friends, who we were visiting, are frequent diners and like it very much. One item of note. There is a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. This is listed on the menu at the bottom and perhaps standard practice in Evergreen. I wasn't aware of it and neither were our friends. I had not noticed this until the next day. Not a huge deal, but I had a couple of hundies/20's in my wallet and could of saved myself a small charge. It isn't something I have seen in a very long time and just mentioning as an fYI.I would like to add that our server, Jennifer J was delightful. She was informative and helpful with our orders. I only had two glasses of wine to drink this evening and when she brought the second one, I didn't even notice her bringing it and found it on my right. Very stealthy indeed. I noticed it looked a little short after I took my first swig and just chalked it up to my enthusiasm of drinking it. About a minute later, she popped back by and topped me off and apologized that she had grabbed the original glass before the bartender had finished pouring it. Nice one Jen! If we happen to come and visit our buds again, we would drop back by."
"When I stumbled upon Range while looking for a new place to try for a pre-show dinner, it checked all my initial boxes - great reviews, good-looking pictures, and (above all) a stellar menu. I made my reservation immediately.Fast forward a few weeks to the night of the reservation. My friends and I arrived and were promptly seated. First impressions: love the interior; perfect mix of elegant and cozy. The first thing to snag our attention on the menu was the drinks, specifically the cocktails. So many compelling options! It's one of those places where you're reading through the menu and you think "that looks good...oh, that one looks good, too...oh wait, THIS one looks good, TOO!" and so on and so forth. After much deliberation, I got the Buttered Rum Negroni and thought it was divine. We settled on the Baked Camembert for an app (delicious, loved all the little accoutrements), and then got the Moulard Duck Breast, Mediterranean Pasta, and Warm Brussels Sprout Salad w/ Salmon for dinner. Safe to say, all three of us were pretty enchanted with our dishes! My sister loved the olives and artichokes in her pasta, and my friend who got the salad raved about it. The duck (my dish) was cooked perfectly (so tender and juicy and delicious) and the scalloped potatoes were a perfect side.Overall, we really liked this place! The location is ideal if you're walking from the DCPA for a pre-show dinner, but also definitely worth a visit, regardless!"
