"This was my first time dining at Caspian Cafe. I was very surprised at how busy it was for a Monday evening! There is a wraparound parking lot with plenty of parking spaces available. Caspian Cafe is a family run restaurant. It's close to the highway (I-25) at the Garden of The Gods exit. I made a reservation for a Monday evening dinner and feel fortunate that I did. Again, surprised at how busy it was for a weekday. So, I do recommend reservations. My waitress was very friendly and personable. She told me that it was her second shift since starting employment there. I noticed some "rookie" mistakes. However, I feel that she did a great job. I was most impressed with how friendly she was. My waitress was also knowledgeable about entree options on the menu and they do have a variety to choose from! I was set on the Persian Chicken but changed my mind after the waitress told me that the Lamb Tangine with Apricots is delicious and that she has tried it before. So glad that I settled on the Lamb Tangine because it was delicious!! The portion size is plenty and will fill you up. Be careful not to fill up on bread with olive oil and vinegar for dipping. Also, I recommend an appetizer. I chose Baba Ganoush. It's served with small pieces of pita bread. Their Baba Ganoush isn't bad. I've had better. I prefer a creamier BG. Theirs is chunky. I passed on dessert. They have some nice dessert options. I probably would've chosen a dessert if I wasn't running somewhat behind for an event in downtown Springs. Overall, my experience was fantastic here. I will definitely return for more delicious Mediterranean food. I love how this place is intimate and family run. My final bill of sale was reasonable as well. Check out Caspian Cafe id you haven't been here before. Also, if you're passing through town or traveling to another destination, this isn't a bad option at all. If you have time to spare, get off on this exit, kick back and relax to enjoy some quality Mediterranean food. I hope you will be pleased with your experience here.Very much looking forward to my next visit!"

"We've enjoyed this family run spot for years. It's always fresh with very generous portions and delish. You really can't go wrong with anything here but I usually get the chicken shawarma plate with garlic sauce. I challenge you to eat it all including the pita!! The other dish that is out of the world is the falafel. I never had delectable falafel until I came here. It melts in your mouth! Please try it and it'll change your life. You'll realize what the humble chickpea can really be! Oh and the hummus. Spectacularly creamy, fresh and oh so tasty.Next topic is the price. You can't have a great restaurant with fresh food and pay your employees fairly for a $7 huge plate of food. It's just not possible. I gladly pay the prices here to support local and have the highest quality food. It's the freshest you can find.Lastly is the customer service. They are just delightful. Helpful. Efficient. Smiles. Supportive when you can't decide. I never walk away feeling less than completely satisfied."
"We came here as a bachelorette for brunch. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance. Food was delicious. The portions were large. So many gluten free options-- we were in heaven. Thank you for being so accommodating to GF diets. I got the smoked salmon Benedict and made it GF. The only thing I would caution about is the chai latte is really sweet & probably pre-made. It tastes sweeter than Thai iced tea!"
"Don't know whether writing a review without pics attached quite makes it these days, but picked up a meal to take over to my MIL's and she's such an elegant old-style grand dame that taking pictures during the meal would have not been appropriate while we ate our baba ganoush, pita, and lamb kebab dinner.Just absolutely loved it. Crave now been added on to my list of favorite Middle Eastern restaurants in Denver. (Yayah's has been at the top of the list for a few years now, but Crave is definitely knocking at the door!).So stop in when you're on the east / south side of town and be super nicely surprised at the incredibly succulent baba ganoush and tender-as-could-be, perfectly prepared to the medium rare level I requested lamb kebab dinner they served up.Salaam,David "And shocked to have loved their lentil soup too" M"
"As you can tell by the plethora of reviews, this is a spot to drop into. My favorite local restaurant in all of Parker, Colorado in addition to JuJu's Coffee! Consisent high quality Greek food at a more than fair price. EXCELLENT!"
"** CLOSED DUE TO FIRE DAMAGE NEXT DOOR ** I don't want to give a negative review, so just adding this here. They were closed on a Sunday night and had a sign on the window mentioning their closure until further notice due to damage from the restaurant next door that took place from arson earlier in the week. I actually heard about the damage on the news, both there, as well as the sports bar a few doors down in the strip center. Anyway, I'd recommend calling before going by to see if they've reopened."
"I've had Bosphorus on my radar for a while now, and after seeing it make Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat in Denver, I couldn't wait any longer!I showed up for lunch at around 1PM on a weekday, perfectly timed as another guest was just leaving -- no waiting for a table! I could have spent hours gawking at the menu. After a recent trip to Greece, I've been longing for some tasty & authentic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food, and everything looked incredible. Somewhat of a panic decision, I went with the chicken gyro sandwich and a stuffed grape leaf. When asked if I wanted rice, fries, or a salad with my sandwich, I asked for rice, and was met with "hmmmm, are you sure about that?". Melih (very easily!) convinced me to change to fries and WOW I am so glad I did...hands down some of the best fries I have ever had, perfectly crispy and seasoned so well! The gyro meat was phenomenal and packed with flavor. The stuffed grape leaf was also delish! Huge portions and incredibly fair pricing!Although the food was awesome, my 5-star experience here really was brought together by the friendliest staff/owners, a cozy/homey/authentic spot filled with awesome Turkish history on the walls, and the most welcoming atmosphere. I will absolutely be back to try the Iskender Kebab, Fried Eggplant, and Turkish Tea (and to get more fries!)."
"It had gotten late and we were so hungry. We selected this restaurant because they appeared to be open until 10 PM. When we said we wanted to dine in, we were told they were closing at 9:30. That still gave us ample time to eat. This place is along a row of international restaurants. Inside, it's not huge, but it's cozy and clean. The Gyros plate was large and came with a salad. The presentation was beautiful. The ingredients were obviously fresh, and the meal was delicious."
"Saj is Palestinian owned and it's nice to have a restaurant in Aurora instead of traveling down to Denver. It was catered at an event I had attended. There was a good variety of salad, hummus, chips, falafel, spicy potatoes, etc. Each catering tray had a lot of food so this was great for an event. A nice variety of vegetarian and meat options. I like the salad, hummus, and spicy potatoes. The salad had olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese. The spicy potatoes did have a kick to them. The falafels were just okay."
"This place is great! Came here with some coworkers and so happy we did. This place has incredible food and is hoppin! Lunch was busy by 1145, so get there by 1130 during a weekday lunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it was so nice. I got the medi bowl with lamb which was a great size and super tasty. I could only eat half. They accidentally gave us fries and yum!! I will bring my husband here now because I know he is going to want to try their gyro. Highly recommend!"

I love this restaurant. They have the tastiest food. The baklava is amazing the coffee, I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you're craving some good Middle Eastern food, I highly recommend this restaurant.! I have never had a dish that I did not like. In the prime rib is to die, for it is so juicy, so bursting the flavor!

Stopped by Crave Mediterranean Grill before checking out the Bright Nights event at four mile. We chose this spot because it was close and the price is reasonable. We ordered the gyro entree ($18), and chicken shawarma entree ($18). The entrees come with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. It was definitely a lot of food for the price. Not only was it a lot of food it was good food! Service was also great. There are a lot of tables, the decor is nice and it's cool being able to see them make the food.I definitely recommend this spot, especially if you're in the area!

This is our go to Mediterranean restaurant! Their abengelemono soup is to die for!! It always hits the spot for me!! The gyros are fantastic as well. Our favorite is the pitas! Something about the soft warm and chewy texture you get when you go to opa! It's a gem!

I can see why Bosphorus made it on the Yelp Denver top 50 list! Tasty food and great hospitality. Melih, the owner, even came and sat at my table briefly to see what brought me in and my thoughts of the food! I ordered the Gyro Sandwich with fries and it completely hit the spot! Everything felt so fresh and the gyro meat was so flavorful. It's definitely nothing fancy but I loved all the Turkish decor to really make me feel like I was in someone's home enjoying a fresh home cooked meal.

"Outstanding take out service. I kind of wish we would have stand in the restaurant- great vibe? Clean, colorful and smelled sooooo good! I couldn't wait to get home and tear into our dinner!! Half and half was incredible with rich deep flavors in the baba ganoush. Kids devoured their huge beef and lamb sandwich. Generous portions of meat in my husband's dinner platter!! Can't wait to return and try more!! Until next time ...."
"Best Greek food hands down that we have had in Colorado Springs! We will definitely be back, highly recommend."
"Best falafel I have had in the city so far. I loved the outdoor seating and walkability to other places."
"Really friendly service and a huge portion of food! Dry one of the bowls to get a nice selection of everything they offer. It was nice to have some vegetarian options available. I'll be back!"
"Nice server, cozy ambiance, delicious gyro. Hot, seasoned fries. Great place. The gyro meat was thinly sliced (I like that) and abundant."
"Good foodGood service Cozy ambiance I recommend it for family gatherings Good for lunch Lamb Chops"
"They're back! The food had fallen off for a bit. We decided to give Pita Fresh another try. The food was fantastic! I don't know if ownership has changed, or the cooks are different, but the food is great again. Keep it up, guys!"
"Best Greek food in town! Such friendly staff and a clean, comfortable seating area.I've been coming here for years. I love their gyros and gyro salad. The baklava and nut roll are delicious, too. It's rarle"
"Love Byblos and never disappointed. The gyros are some of my favorite and don't sleep on the garlic dip as a side. Drool worthy! The baklava is also a great way to end the meal. Very easy to order online and the service is impeccable. Not only are the extremely fast, they are the absolute nicest!! Byblos, thank you for being such a great, tasty option in our neighborhood."
"I love Mediterranean food and used to eat it a lot in California. Sadly, Hawaii doesn't have many Mediterranean spots so when I came to the food court, I wanted to eat something healthy. All other food court spots look too greasy. I saw Mediterranean so I had to try it. I ordered the chicken pita with everything. The highlight of the dish is of course is the tender slicked chicken with great seasoning. However, the main kicker is that SAUCE. Oh my goodness, it is to die for. Guy working said it's him moms recipe and it has no msg, barely any salt. A lot of Mediterranean spots or wanna be spots has very thin consistency with their sauce but not here. Thick, dip your French fries and smother it all over your pita greatness. I had to add extra sauce so I could dip my fries in it. Wish we had this place in Hawaii. Absolutely delicious! Forget the other spots in the food court that'll make you feel nasty after you eat. This place is refreshing, made to order and great service. A plus in my book!"
"The letters on the door say closed on Sunday, but there are two lit signs that will say Open!Great chicken shawarma, best falafels, and surprisingly enough for me - the gyro meat was amazing. I am not a fan of lamb, but this I will have any day!I think the location just changed names. I recommended going here for a great Mediterranean meal."
"Not really fancy digs. But that allows them to bring wholesome food at a reasonable price. We had the chicken kabob. Comes with a side salad a nicely seasoned rice. Our other dish was the gyro, also with sides. The gyro was a little too heavily salted representing the only flaw in our meal. Overall a pleasant experience."
"My husband and I were SUPER excited to try this place. There were a lot of great reviews of Crave in general in the Denver area (a couple locations) and we both love middle eastern food! There is a great outdoor seating area, but we chose to sit inside. We had Erdinch as our server. We were the only actual guests in the restaurant as there were a few tables of family and friends of the cooks and people that work there that sat at the front tables. The atmosphere in the way of the aesthetics was very nice- very relaxing, and clean....not overcluttered with decor. The bathrooms were very clean as well.We were very happy with everything we ordered. The food was very well-seasoned. It seems the restaurant is under new management, and they are trying very hard to make the guest experience excellent. We would like to come back here again when in the area."
"First-time experience at Zaman, and I'll be glad to return.Hadn't eaten lunch and only had some coffee and a bit of yogurt for breakfast, so come 2 pm I was hunnngry. But the problem was my honey and I were meeting friends for an early dinner out and so I didn't want to ruin my appetite. Hence the question of what to do. Passed by Zaman and had seen some very good reviews of it and had the great thought: hey, maybe they sell appetizer sized portions of one of my favorite Middle Eastern dishes--baba ghanoush with a pita. I was thinking, maybe I could have a few bites of that and not spoil my appetite for dinner a little later. So that's what I did. I stopped on by and picked up a to-go order since they did have that on the menu and bingo...food problem solved.Didn't just like it. I loved it. Almost as good as Yayha's, my favorite Middle Eastern spot, so I will be happy to try out some of their other dishes. Liked the fast casual set-up and the nice people who ran the place. All-in-all an excellent experience.Sign me,David "Satisfied but not filled up"M."
"Very good take-out order of baba ganoush and lamb kebabs. Those who read every review I write (yeah, right:), will know that I'm on a quest for the best baba ganoush in Denver. So while my honey was partying this evening I picked up some to-go-ganoush at the Tuti Grill down on South Holly just past Evans. Had its high and low points. The baba ganoush was lemony and well finished with olive oiled. I'd give it a four out of five ganoush stars. The kebabs were well seasoned and tasty, but were made of ground and formed kebab pieces and not cubed fresh cut chunks of lamb. The pita tasted fine but store-bought (though I might be wrong about that). Fairly priced and a good amount of food I'll have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. All-in-all a very good but not spectacular experience and it left me still looking for the perfect baba gee.Sign me,David "baba gee gee" M"
"I've never had food here, but all the drinks I've had have been top notch delicious! And the ambiance is perfection. Decor, music, vibe, all great. Those facts are why I haven't marked fewer stars, honestly. Because I've had sketchy service both times I've come here. The first time I was here, I was working on a project that required an interview, and one of the baristas just lingered over near us asking (rudely) what we were doing and seemed offended that we would be doing that. We were being quiet, cheery, and thoughtful in demeanor so I don't know what she was criticizing. Then I decided to give them another shot recently and her energy at the register was just off. Better than before, but still rude-adjacent. In watching her interact with other customers, it's the same thing, so it's not just me. I love so much about this place though! I don't think I'll personally stop coming, but I won't be bringing friends and family with me. I don't want to be a reason that they are treated rudely, so I would only recommend it with a caveat."
"Their near perfect reviews left by many truly speak for the kind of restaurant it is. It's only 10 minutes away from my northeast DTC house. How come I didn't discover this place until a few days ago? This is not necessarily a fancy restaurant in any way but it sure is a clean restaurant. When I arrived at the peak dinner time, one of the workers was cleaning the little mess left behind by a diner. And she was very thorough in cleaning. I picked up one of the menus at a table and that was when this super friendly gentleman in the kitchen asked me, "Is this here or to go, my friend?" Ahh, thank for calling me a friend! Like I always do, instead of getting me a huge entree plate, I got me a few sides as a nice accompaniment to what I already have at home. Grape leaves and tzatziki sauce definitely sounded good to me on top of falafels. The same guy in the kitchen continued to be friendly to me while I was placing my order. He carried on a nice casual small talk conversation with me without any pause. He truly made an effort to get to know me. Once home, I immediately started my dinner. I was truly impressed with the grape leaves. They are marinated with jalapeño so they've got a good kick in it. This is very unique for grape leaves as I've never had spicy ones before. Falafels are nice and brown with perfect crunchiness. The tzatziki sauce was great for dipping some raw veggies I had in my fridge. Later that night, my daughter came by with empty stomach. To the question she asked me, "Do you have any food?" I replied with an evil looking grin on my face, "Yes, I've got just that!" and gave her some of the leftovers from my earlier dinner. She was beyond impressed with everything especially the grape leaves! "Where did you get all this great food?" she asked to which I replied, "Grape Leaves Mediterranean Restaurant on Mississippi and Peoria!" "Mom, we need to go back soon to get us more of those!" she uttered! This restaurant instantly gained a few die hard fans that night!!"
"Loved this place and it is only a few blocks from the Hampton Inn Speer Blvd. They have pork souvlaki, which is very hard to find in the United States. My wife loved the Greek Salad and I enjoyed the Gyro Combo with fries and drink. The fries have a wonderful seasoning, highly recommended. The owner is very friendly and he takes a lot of pride in his cuisine and we loved the background music. If we ever return to Denver, this is the first restaurant we would come back to!!!"
"Great food with amazing service from very friendly staff. They have a huge selection of wonderful selection for you to choose from and you could have friends who don't do Indian nor Mediterranean food to join this meal as they have more to offer than Indian food. I had 3 Indian dinners 3 days in a roll. Otherwise I would try their briyani for sure. I started my meal with falafel appetizer and it's a good portion of 3 large crispy chickpea ball on a bed of lettuces, tomatoes and pickled cucumbers. Plus tzatziki sauce, masala sauce and hummus to enjoy the deep fried appetizer with. Then I had masala pizza and it smelled very inviting with all the spices on it. It was cheesy and a lot of toppings. Obviously I will come back to try briyani, momo, korma and lamp shawarma."
"Now yall know u love my Arabic food especially with me being Lebanese so I'm critical when I go to these restaurants. This one is also a gem and was so amazing. I got a chicken shawarma along with a mixed grill plate. Everything and I mean everything was perfect down to the seasonings that reminded me of home! The owners were Lebanese as well and the most friendliest people and accommodating service I ever had. If you're ever in the area you definitely have to eat here"
"It was a rainy and cold day. I knew that Laziz Ya Lebanese food truck was scheduled to be nearby. Then I thought to myself, "it's so rainy, they probably decided not to come by, but I'll go ahead and check." Thank goodness I did, because they showed up, and their food is just WOW! I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. It comes with tender juicy chicken fillets pieces, garlic sauce and your choices of sides. I opted for the hummus and fattoush salad. I'm not kidding when I say this was the best dinner I've had from a food truck. I also ordered a side of their fries, which is your good ol' standard crinkle fries. Often times food trucks just have frozen food reheated. I'm definitely don't think that's the case here, the food tasted fresh and hot! Plus it took around 15-20 minutes for the food.Service was awesome too, the lady helping me at check out was very kind. 5/5. I will absolutely be back, I'm a customer for life."
