"First time to Eddy V's and certainly will not be our last! Everything from the moment we walked in to our departure was on-point and amazing! Once seated (by the Manager) we were ask if the night was for any occasion, at which we replied it was a "Make-up Valentine's Day as we had been sick the week prior." He returned with a handful of rose petals and neatly decorated our table to spell a 'V.' Our server, Alyssa was top notch. She never missed a beat with listening, offering, and being sure that we always had any and everything we wanted. The drinks not only were good quality and mixture, but presented beautifully too. The mystic point oysters were by far the best we've ever had, and we contemplated ordering more! The Caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing with the fresh black pepper complimenting it well. The filet, (although my judgment was biased because my Husband knocks any steak at a restaurant out of the park,) was clearly a beautiful cut of meat and the outer was charred just the right amount. My husband ordered the wagyu steak and it could not have tasted better! We complimented our meal with delicious asparagus and Alyssa surprised us with au gratin potatoes that melt in your mouth! Overall it was a fantastic experience and Valentine's was better celebrated after the holiday, with the utmost amazing experience!"
"A few weeks ago, my husband and I visited Toro to celebrate my doctoral achievement. The restaurant featured the Honey menu, which was absolutely delightful. Our server was incredibly friendly and recommended a variety of dishes that didn't disappoint-- from foie gras tacos and mac & cheese to plantain chips with smoked swordfish dip, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and lomo saltado (beef fillet). We were seated in a quaint, quiet area of the restaurant, where the ambiance was just perfect for our celebration. Toro proved to be a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience close to home."
"Last time I came to Pisco Sour they were in a different location..and yes that means it has been way! too long. I chose the beef tacos, which were to die for. So good! I also enjoyed a Pisco sour, which really you should try when you are here - it is both a lively and a tasty drink. We had some lively music for part of our dinner, and the. The futbol game was put in, which made my brother-in-law so happy. And now I need to make this one of our regular restaurants."

Perfect walking distance to and from the Buell Theater. My friends and I recently saw WICKED! We had dinner at a sandwich shop around the corner and wanted dessert. My friend had been here before and suggested we go. It was easy to get a last minute reservation online. We were seated right away and our server came over and started us off with waters. We told him we were there for desserts and drinks. We noticed the restaurant offered two WICKED themed drinks! One was pink with tequila base, the other was green with vodka base. We got one of each and my friends really enjoyed them! The menu online did not reflect what was offered in the restaurant. We ended up getting three desserts to share. The Crème Brûlée, the mousse (not on the website menu), and the three assorted dessert flight (not on the website menu). Lets break each one down. The Crème Brûlée was offered as a cream or espresso flavor on the website menu so I asked for cream and the waiter said, "Oh it's lavender. Is that alright?" We said yes cause we wanted to try it. It was not our favorite. My friends have had lavender Crème Brûlée before and they said the flavor didn't seem right. It was my first time trying it so they let me tell them what I thought before they shared their thoughts so it wouldn't sway my thoughts. It tasted a little burnt to me. I was a little disappointed as Crème Brûlée is one of my favorite desserts. The Mousse. We all assumed it would be a chocolate mousse. Now if it said the flavor on the menu and we all glanced over it, that was on us. It was actually a passion fruit (we think) mousse! I actually really like it :) The fun chocolate overing and the fruity flavor mixed well together! We all enjoyed it!The three assorted dessert flight came with two cream puffs, three macarons, and three chocolates. The cream puffs were great! I thought just enough cream for a delightful bite. The macaron was wonderful! I got the vanilla (assuming) one and really enjoyed it. The chocolate was ok. I'm not the biggest coffee fan and I got the espresso (assuming) one. Which was funny cause my two friends got the other two and they said both of theirs were normal chocolate haha. I just happened to pull the espresso one haha.Over all it was a fun experience. Very cute inside and the noise level was about average so we weren't yelling at each other but still talking a little louder than normal. I hope to go back someday soon!

---- CASH ONLY ----Good place for a quick lunch. Fast and cordial service. Cheap for a "steakhouse" but the meat quality is marginal. The place is small so I wouldn't recommend big groups. The ambience is quiet but no one was here at 12:15 for lunch.

First time trying it out. We ordered a Pisco Sour but were told they had no Pisco....made no sense bc the restaurant was called PISCO SOUR! Their AC was out, so it was hot as heck! Their prices were pretty high plus they added a 20% gratuity on top. The food was delicious, and portions were a good size. I got the aji de gallina, and my boyfriend got the Lomo Saltado. We also ordered the anticuchos. Food taste and dishes were good overall!

We LOVE Gennaro's! They've been around for as long as I can remember - I've lived here all my life. This was my dad's favorite hangout. I am happy that, with so many of the small local bars closing (Covid) , Gennaro's has hung in there and is still in business after over 60 years!! The Calzones are GINORMOUS and DELICIOUS! They literally cover the plate! I have leftovers for days! The Spicy Bloody Mary's are awesome, the ambience is friendly and neighborhood-bar like. There are two areas to sit in. If you prefer a more family friendly, Italian restaurant atmosphere, you can sit on the other side of the restaurant, away from the bar. Happy hour here is WONDERFUL! They give tokens for your next round. Gennaro's has inspired happy memories of giving all of my saved up tokens to Dad for Christmas, just a couple of years before he died. He used them all!

After a few visits, it's safe to say, I AM OBSESSED WITH SOCIAL BAR!WHY?SPACE: You wouldn't think much coming from a strip mall in the burbs, butthe way the area has been updated and each inch utilized is amazing! Fromthe spacious outdoor patio (filled with outdoor tables, chairs, firepit andblankets!), to the intimate cozy interior (think deep wood, chandeliers, large booths) , the space exudes class, seduction, and a space perfect fora date or catching up with friends!SERVICE: Some of the best in the business! Everyone from the owner, bartenders and servers are SO welcoming, friendly, anxiously excited toshowcase their skills and make each patron feel right at home! Katie, thesweet owner, made great conversation with our group, gave us the run downof new cocktail/mocktail offerings and created a wonderful space to sitback and relax!SIPS: Carefully crafted cocktails, gorgeous garnishes, killer glassware, one hell of a mocktail menu...what more could you want?! Being a sobergirlie now, I was blown away by the massive mocktail selection - andoffered with garnishes, in the coolest of glasses! I tried a variety ofmocktails at my recent visit - their twist on an Aperol Spritz, Lemon Drop,Ranch Water and more! SO delicious, fresh, and fun to sip!An elevated experience for everyone!SUSTENANCE: While the food menu is limited, it does provide light bites forthose needing a little something! Charcuterie, nuts and cheese and more areon the little menu, sure to please anyone!I will definitely be returning, and so should you!

"I would of never guessed this place has some descent Italian bar. When you first come in, you come into what looks like the local dive bar. The other part looks like it was the actual restaurant, but I believe since COVID-19 the restaurant part for dine in was suffering. They did still have some booths and a pool table that took a good bit on the dining part. The service was good, and the kitchen was semi-open so you could talk to the chef if needed. It was just us in that area of the restaurant. The starter caprese salad was really good. The pesto and aged balsamic was a really nice touch. The main, we got a few things. The sausage and peppers with fettuccini pasta was really good. It looked like meatballs, but it was sausage. It was nicely seasoned. We got a margherita pizza with sausage as well. It was definitely a cheese lover pizza. If we lived closer, I would order from them again."
"Always a good experience here.Very consistent great vibe and super personal service."
"Such a fun, bustling, vibrant bar with great outdoor seating areas and beautiful views. We were there for happy hour and their menu has lots of variety. Our server, Madison, made some suggestions and was helpful. There were a couple of issues with our food - like not getting our salad until after our other food and not getting the aioli for the French fries. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the food, great drinks, and ambiance. The chicken skewers were a little too salty but the pickled green papaya that came with it was delicious. This is a fun place that I look forward to coming back to."
"took the wife there, we live really close by there... so we walked there. Not bad of a bar. They have some decent bar food. We enjoyed the night didnt have a problem. The drinks were a more than reasonable price, so we had a really goood time. We went on the night where it was free pool so we played a lot. It was a really nice night out, best part is we live in walking distance so no uber there just walk back, might be in many directions at the end of the night ... :D but we will get home...."
"A group of four of us went on a Saturday night to try it out. There was a good crowd but only one server because of illness. He did an admirable job of keeping up with everything and never made us feel ignored. The food was tasty and well prepared. We had the combo rice with chicken, stewed beef, and goat meat stew. Every one of them were fantastic and flavorful. Take the time and check this place out!"
