"I finally made it here after hearing about it from several people. Cranelli's is quite busy with people seated outside and inside. The environment can be quite loud making conversations difficult. So keep that in mind. The prices are reasonable and if you check in for Yelp your first time, you get garlic knots for free. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was delicious. It's creamy and it's just super tasty. If you order it with chicken, it's like the Olive Garden one. The Arancinis are a tasty appetizer and it's just like a giant deep fried cheese ball. The garlic knots are full of flavor. They have specials every now and then. I ordered the strawberry margarita and that was quite delicious. It's also a lot bigger than I assumed."
"BEST place in Denver! Highly recommend. Wine was great, atmosphere great, burrata was out of this world, and oysters were incredible! Loved the bartender too. Highly recommend!"

"The space is pretty big in the lower level of the restaurant. There were several tables with patrons. It was still early in the evening when we were seated quickly yet the pizza did take a while to arrive although it was really delicious. Too bad I didn't have enough time to revisit this establishment to try other items on the menu.Heads up they have a few service charges that are not usual in most restaurants."
"Oh my how do I start this. . .this place was a hidden gem within a neighborhood and it was so quaint and cute!! We decided to sit outside as we did not make an appointment and we were a party of 5. Towards the end of the dining experience, we were all a little cold BUT that was on us. Pro Tip - Make an appointment as this place busy busy busy!!As soon as we were sat, they came out and gave us our menus and gave us fresh bread boules with a balsamic vinaigrette to dip the bread in. I thought that was a nice change to the usual olive oil with balsamic vinegar. Some of the people that I was with thought that it was too vinegary but i liked it as I LOVE balsamic vinegar. lol We placed our order and soon after, we got our food and let me tell you. . .silence enveloped our table as we started to dig into the food. And you know that is the best compliment that you can give to a restaurant. . .that silence fell upon the table once the food came. The food was so freaking good! I had the chicken piccata with linguine pasta. BUT I wished that they had just served it with plain spaghetti OR fettucini so that the pasta could've picked up more of the sauce. I seriously wanted to spoon up the sauce. But then again, I have yet to meet a piccata that I did not like. The food was amazing and everything came out quickly and everything was sooooooo delicious! The free bread was good BUT they needed to proof the bread a little longer as it was a very dense bread and I could tell that the boule was underproofed. Did I eat it even though it was under proofed? Heck yeah I did! Cuz I love bread. . .or rather I love carbs. . .LOL The service was great from the hostess to the server to the bus boy to the food runner. Everyone was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. If I lived in that neighborhood, I'd be in so much trouble as I would be here almost everyday! LOL Just come and eat here. You won't regret it!"
"Came here to watch the game. Grabbed a beer and got the Brooklyn bridge. Pizza was pretty good. Amazing crust, flavor was pretty good. Crunch was 10/10 inside of pizza was 8.2/10 alil soft for my liking. All and all it was pretty delicious. Service was great. Bar tender was prompt. Ambiance was lovely and rambunctious"
"$100 for a great meal for two. What we got: Margherita pizza & mushroom ravioli. Pizza was pretty standard, crust was delicious. Ravioli was so so good and well portioned. Drinks are a little on the pricier end, but we're used to Dallas prices. Environment: We grabbed a seat in front of the kitchen right before rush dinner hour. Very clean and beautiful decor. Service: Didn't get his name, but our waiter was such a cool guy; kind, friendly, knowledgeable, checked in on us just the right amount of times. Side note: pizza chef needs a hell of a raise. Idc how much he's making - he's not making enough. That man puts in work."
"Really mediocre pizza served with a side of surliness. Pizza crust is floppy and quite unappealing. Best thing was the gelato All flavors were bland.Much prefer Marcos, Blue pan, and homegrown tap and dough"
"Delicious food here. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I ordered the lasagna. Imthe dish looked small but it was the perfect serving size. Hot and great. My wife was still full from lunch, so she ordered the calamari as liked it as well. Kids had the pizza and ended up with two slices left. So I assume they enjoyed it too.Staff was nice and they were busy. Every time I looked up and saw another one racing across the restaurant to deliver an order. The place looked nice and clean. A bit small but we were still comfortable where we were at.Parking is very limited and they weren't sized correctly. Very narrow. Overall we enjoyed our dining here and recommend others to come :D"
"Lovely, wonderful place. Highly recommended. The food is fantastic, the service impeccable, and the ambience is upscale yet relaxed. Nothing pretentious about this restaurant, just high quality dining with great service. I've been many times with numerous friends and will be back again."
"WOW! If I only had one word to describe this place that would be it! WOW! The staff, the food, the setting! This place was amazing, stumbled across it while searching for a place to eat for my birthday dinner. The price was even better, ordered drinks, appetizers and dessert all under $100?! I will definitely be back and will always recommend this place."
"Loved this old establishment. We had the mushroom appetizer, family Cesar salad and family spaghetti and meatballs. Could have fed 6 people we were only 3 of us. Great waiter everything was clean except one fly flew around us for an hour. Great experience in town for a convention. Hotel manager recommended place. Excellent choice!!! The house cab was very good and a big portion. Special thanks Taylor Hernandez hand model in pictures."

A cute Italian restaurant with a great selection of pasta dishes. I wasn't overly impressed with the pizza--the crust was a bit bland--but overall, the experience was good. The waiter was attentive and kind, which made for a pleasant visit.

I heard tell of one of the greatest happyHours in Denver and Finally made the voyage across town to experience it. As someone who is passionate about HH, you can take my word that Angelo's is a certified winner. Friendly and efficient staff. Classic Italian vibe, evident both by the menu and the decor. Oysters are a big appeal here. When you can get oysters for $1.25 a pop in Denver, you can't pass it up. Fresh and better than expected for the price. Toasted ravioli was delicious, for two hungry people it's a perfect appetizer. The Caesar salad was tasty but the dressing was a little watery. Maybe ask for it on the side if you are picky. You can't go wrong with a eight dollar mini pizza. Perfect for one person tasty and satisfies the pizza craving. Great beer and wine selection. They have rotating taps from some of my favorite breweries in the Denver area and Carboy wines.

We ordered the barrata after our waitress recommended it. We asked for the prosciutto on the side, as we had a vegetarian. When it was delivered I told the waiter we'd asked for the prosciutto on the side. "Did you tell your waitress that". Ah YES. That's why I'm telling you. He did not apologies or anything, just walked away. Not the best introduction. Our waitress was very good. Other staff were good too, just not the first guy. Given they tell you they're charging a 22% tip before you order, I'd expect it to be good. Food was good except the risotto. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto had little to no body and tasted like butter.

I made a reservation in advance and was seated right away. It wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night so possibly didn't need to but they weren't completely empty either. Our waitress was super friendly. She made small talk with us and complimented our outfits. We started with the bruschetta. It was a little different than I've had before as it had olives in it. It was really flavorful and good. We ran out of bread so my friend even used the complimentary bread to eat the rest of it. I ordered the special of the day which was a lobster/crab stuffed ravioli and topped with some veggies and shrimp. It came in a broth - it was amazing. I also then used the bread to dip in it. My friend got special as well. We really enjoyed our meals - I'll definitely be back!

I finally made it to Blue Pan after far too long. We typically prefer thin crust pizza since my wife grew up eating East Coast slices but we had to see if Detroit style pies are really a thing.Blue Pan offers their popular square cut pan pizza along with thin crust pizza which was described to us as "like Pizza Hut or Dominos but way better. We opted for two Detroit style pizzas the Brooklyn Bridge and Little Rose. The crust was crispy and provided a really nice crunch. It was chewy without being too doughy. The toppings all went together nicely and we especially enjoyed the Ricotta on the Brooklyn Bridge. As a bonus they have a good selection of craft beers.

The cacio e pepe is likely the best pasta I've ever eaten, and a top 5 item I've eaten in Denver. The rigatoni was perfectly cooked with a nice chew to it, and the sauce had just the right amount of richness and cheesy goodness. I will crave this dish every day for a long time!We also got a pizza. Unfortunately I don't remember the name, but it was one of the rotating options and had figs, kale, balsamic, ricotta, and a meat. The crust was great! I didn't love the pizza itself, it oddly tasted like Pad Thai (my partner agreed!)....I love Pad Thai so that is not a complaint, but just a bit unexpected and not sure how the ingredients combined to produce that flavor profile. I'd totally come back and try the margherita -- I saw several come out of the kitchen and those looked incredible! The arancini were fine, nothing to rave about and a bit small for the price ($4 each for about a golf ball size) and didn't taste like much more than a mozzarella stick, but still enjoyable. The atmosphere was cool and trendy and service was pretty good. I don't love when restaurants automatically add a service charge to the bill.... even if I was going to tip the same amount anyway, I think tipping should be at the will of the customer, and the onus is on the restaurant to pay living wages to staff.Overall a very solid meal, and if you're considering coming here and you like pasta and cheese, you must come and get the cacio e pepe!!!

I was invited to a celebration of life luncheon here today along with several friends. The entire lower level was reserved for the event. There was an open bar along with an incredible buffet which included chicken Parmesan, meatballs, Caesar salad, etc. There were several staff members serving guests along with a bartender who happened to know about the honoree's favorite cocktail and prepared it just as I remembered it. There were several tables which were arranged perfectly for accommodate groups of 4 to 8 comfortably. The dining room and bathroom were very clean. Although this was a somber occasion, Parisi's did an amazing job.

"Delicious and friendly! They were very gracious in adjusting the lunch special to gluten free for me, everyone was friendly, and the ambiance is relaxed enough for a lunch break also great for catching up with a friend. They are quick enough also I would easily do a business lunch here. Thank you!!!"
"I think this was the best food we tried in Colorado, probably the only place that compares to the NYC/LA level of food/service. We wanted to eat across the street but didn't like the ambiance so came here, it was Sunday evening and place was pretty full. We didn't make a reservation, and they had a nice table for us. Service was outstanding, guy was speaking half Italian and half English, which was pretty cool. We appreciated that even though we don't speak Italian. They brought fresh bread that was warm and very delicious. They also had a long wine list, so definitely can find what you like. We started with a salad (artichoke and mozzarella), was very well done and unique. We both had different types of seafood pasta, even though we were told that seafood in Colorado is not good we decided to order anyway, and we were pleased to have a great meal. Place is super pleasant and modern and also great location. Definitely recommend"
"On Gaylord street near WashPark - I love love this place for HH Pizza, Chicken Parm Slides and Beer. It's all like $5 each! Also - they have some of the best outdoor patio spaces with heaters. You can even play some old school arcade games in their little nook or ask for a table with their ski lifts.Low key, good food, good vibes."
"Dropped by this restaurant after landing in Denver. We were definitely in for a treat. Italian food with an Asian twist. Josh the bartender/waiter was so nice and attentive. We got the lemongrass penne, brussel sprouts, rigatoni and it was allllll delicious! The fresh baked bread was so perfect and the wine selection is amazing. Definitely don't want to miss out on this place. They currently merged with Cody's next door. So the food was from Both menus. Incredible! Chef Sue is killing it! We love you and will definitely be back for more!"
"Extremely tasty pizza! The atmosphere inside is good, I like the plants on the wall. The pizzas are very customizable and cooked well, nothing basic about them! Two 14 inch pizzas and Two fountain drinks came out to 35.00"
"This place is definitely on the pricey side, for example, a well vodka was $10. But the service was great, it is a beautiful atmosphere inside, and the food was really good. It's probably a place I would not return to again, unless I won the lottery."
"The planets must've aligned last Wednesday or we missed a full moon or something. The location in downtown is good but this location in DTC is great! Kevin was our waiter and took care of us from beginning to end. He struck up conversation, made suggestions and was ever so confident with pairing wine with the ladies in our group. The food was on point like the service. Meatball as an appetizer followed by a salad and everyone got pizza for themselves. It worked out and we had a great time catching up. Wish there was more to add but this is as top notch as it gets! Thanks Pizza Republica!"
"We had a lovely family dinner here the other night. Because they're always super busy and don't take reservations for small parties, and we have a toddler, we showed up when they open, at 5. We started with an order of garlic bread, which was fantastic. My old fashioned was also super yummy. My husband had the meat lasagna- so good!! I had the eggplant parmigiana with a side of pasta. I thought my eggplant was delicious but the spaghetti was way too garlicky for me. However, it ended up being the only thing my son would eat besides the bread, so it worked out perfectly."
"Great Italian pastries. Very fresh and incredibly flavorful Awesome serviceI dream of their cannolis"
"Looking for a Slice of Chicago in Colorado? Jimano's Pizzeria in Englewood, CO hits the spot. With their friendly service, generous portions, and authentic flavors, it's no wonder they've become a local favorite. We arrived at Jimano's and sat in the main dining room. Jimano's does deliver if you're looking for pizza to come to you. Jimano's specializes in iconic Chicago deep-dish pizzas - a hearty affair with a one-inch-thick crust baked in a pan. We dove into their signature deep dish, a cheesy masterpiece overflowing with sauce, green peppers, mushrooms, and a generous helping of sausage. Definitely a pizza meant for sharing! While the deep dish was the star of the show, Jimano's offered plenty of other delicious Italian options. For an appetizer we tried Jimano's "Famous Mouth Watering Breadstix". They had a lightly crisped exterior with a light, fluffy interior. They weren't too heavy and had a dusting of parmesan on top. For sandwiches, we had Jimano's Italian Beef Sandwich. Tender Italian beef was piled high on a toasted bun, dripping with jus, and topped with melted cheese. But be warned: the Giardiniera peppers packed a punch! We loved it because we wanted the heat.We had to end on a sweet note so for dessert, we had the Cannolis. The crispy shells were filled with creamy ricotta and chocolate chips."
"Viale's is your neighborhood (South Colo. Blvd) pizza/pasta shop that's got a bit more style and a bit more class than your average Italian restaurant. Good prices and above-average meal quality mark it as a go-to regular stopover when you're craving some semolina this-and-that. Very good pizza (ask for the crust to be "crispy") and large servings (check out the size of the tiramisou!) tell you that you're not going away hungry. (I also really like their newest host-person...so kind and helpful).Ciao bella,David(e) M"
"Alright Dio Mio. Here's the 5 stars you deserve! This is one of my most recommended spots in RiNo, especially if my friends and I are trying to brainstorm last minute plans for dinner. I've lost count how many times I've been here. Even though I keep ordering the same items, I'm constantly impressed by the quality of food, beverage, and customer service. My top dish is the Radiatori (second is the Cacio e Pepe) though I'll deviate every once in awhile to get a seasonal special. Friends often gravitate towards adding on appetizers like Broccoli and Artichokes, both of which are artfully crafted in terms of flavors and textures. Paired with wines or cocktails, it's quite the romantic venue!"
"I went in because I read that they had the best gnocchi in Denver. I was in Denver for work, and I was dining alone. When I arrived they made a table for me in the middle of the dining room, not by the kitchen or door, so I immediately felt welcome rather than some bother stashed out of the way. It was a little later, so not during the dinner rush, which I'm sure helped. The restaurant is not large, but the ambience was very nice. I was waiting on right away and I ordered a glass of red wine from the Veneto region. The menu had wonderful selections and I settled on the Italian sausage and mushroom risotto at the recommendation of my server. I'm so thankful she recommended it, because it was one of my best meals this year and some of the best risotto I've ever had! I was full from the risotto and delicious bread that came out beforehand, so I didn't order dessert. I've been telling everyone about this restaurant. I will definitely be back!"
"I'm only mad I did try this place sooner. Everything we ate was phenomenal and the service was excellent. The bread was included and came with olive oil and balsamic. I'd recommend this place based on just the bread, it was a fresh, well-seasoned, flavorful focaccia. We also had the burrata, lobster ravioli, pesto gnocchi, and tiramisu crème brûlée. I get the impression that it was all made from scratch- I'd give every single thing we ate a 10/10. We've had a really hard time finding an Italian restaurant that has both good quality AND quantity. We've found it's either high quality, creative, from-scratch and tiny portions or low quality, boring food in large portions. Vista vino is the sweet spot. Their dishes are creative and flavorful, made with quality ingredients, and you really get the value in what you pay for. We are excited to go back and try out more of their menu."
"This is the service and accommodation by a restaurant that you wish for every single time you walk into a restaurant!! The owners took over only in May and they've incorporated all of the right changes (only as I presume based on other less than ideal reviews in the previous years). The owners are the sole operators on the floor on this busy Friday night and gracefully handled a full restaurant and did not skip a beat! They made recommendations to us on their popular and favorite dishes and drinks. We enjoyed talking with them and they were SO nice to our kiddos. food was good!"
"2 years later, it's time for an updated review! My friend and I walked to Lou's from our dance studio for lunch, and it's still one of the best sandwich shops in town. There are so many options, including groceries in their refrigerated sections. I ended up ordering a Muffeletta because I looove olives and it was recommended by one of the staff members there. The half portion was perfect. Apparently they do quarter portions as well. Definitely want to try some of their plates in the future. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can pair your sandwich with one of the beverages in their labeled fridges. Plenty of street parking in the area. Excited to come back and support Lou's again!"
"Simply terrific! I am not going to say this is the best Italian I've ever had but it is in the top ten and it's not ten. We made a reservation for a Friday night, we were a party of four. When we showed up we were sat right away with zero wait. We were brought a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was delicious, a bit on the sweet side. For the table we ordered the short rib pizza and burrata. The burrata was delicious and the pizza was good it just wasn't packed with tons of flavor or short rib. I would definitely suggest the burrata it, I believe, had a light honey drizzle on it that added depth to the flavor and the crostini's were crisp but not hard. My main entree was definitely the star of the show, I got the Wild Mushroom Fusilli it was heaven in every bit and everyone agreed it was the best dish at the table. I was very filling so I had to take some to go but it holds up and reheats very well. Couple of things to note: -there is a 22% CHP fee added to bills -there is a pay parking lot next store-you put your card down for reservations -they offer a fresh bread and incredible spread (butter like) that is also made fresh"
"I visited Lo Stella with a friend on a Tuesday evening. Which to our delight, it turns out they have happy hour from 4-6pm and offer half priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays! The manager, Luca, was our server. He was great! He was very knowledgeable and patient as I grilled him on the menu and he also helped us narrow our selection to 3 pastas and dessert! He even asked the kitchen to make us the gnocchi special when it wasn't on the menu that evening! We enjoyed the pesto pasta, the Cacio Pepe, and the gnocchi for our entrees, everything was delightful!! I can't wait to come back again and try more off of their menu!"
"Terrific NY style pizza and AMAZING cannolis. Great for dine in, or takeout. Pizza done right!"
"I've been to Venice more times and for more occasions than I can count. I was honored to be invited to a friend's parents 57th anniversary. It's been a few years since I have walked through the door. The place is bigger with an additional private room as they took over the space next door this also includes the bigger front bar area. Still the dimly lit white tablecloth place I fondly remember. Ambiance here is everything for sure. Dimly lit, attentive but not overly intrusive service, low background music adds to the evening and not overpowers conversation. Wine list is on an iPad which is fun. Still the food I remember and will now crave again for weeks. This is definitely a Daye night , special occasion kind of place. Go and give yourself a nice night out."
"Sam, Ben, and Brian are so nice! Love supporting a Mom and Pop shop like this. This place is easily comparable to Tavernetta for authenticity and execution. The arancinis (rice balls) are the best we've ever had! Fried raviolis are perfectly crisp. The seafood pasta is LOADED with scallops. The calzones are ENORMOUS and also loaded with meat. The garlic knots are doughy but crispy. Not a damn thing on the menu that isn't incredible. That's what you get when you have 2 owners who moved here from Italy. Highly recommend their desserts!!! The profiteroles, like everything else, are made from scratch. LEGIT tiramisu, too."
"The waitstaff were excellent! They were all attentive and friendly. Even though you order when you walk in the door and they bring your food to the table I was impressed. The food was delicious! It was worth the drive to Littleton as we were in Henderson. The food was good, salad was fresh. I would have given five starts had it not been for the gluten free crust was a little undercooked (doughy in some areas). The outdoor seating was nice and cool even on a warmDay!"
