"Beautiful modern salon with talented stylists. I've been going to Stephanie for the last year and always love my cut and color. She takes her time to determine my hair goals (as I'm always debating how dark or light I want to take it) and delivers time after time. I personally have not seen the other stylists but my mom gets her hair cut by a few of the girls whenever she's in town and the cuts have always been flattering for her facial structure and age. The salon is beautiful and comfortable, which is an absolute necessity when your hair takes 2 hours - bonus - there are beautiful views of Pikes Peak from the salon chairs."

"My first visit to try out this new (to me) salon. It was less expensive than where I had been going, and closer to home so I wanted to give it a try. I paid $30 for haircut with no shampoo. I thought the haircut was OK, if a basic textbook haircut is what you are looking for, however when she asked me if I wanted my bangs trimmed I probably should've said no because now I look like I have the bangs of a five-year-old girl. She cut them in a totally straight line which looks really weird. I would have expected this if I were at Super Cuts, not a non-chain Salon. Normally they're tapered when cut by an experienced stylist. Luckily they grow quickly."

"In all honesty I am not trying to be rude with my review, I'm just being super blunt about my experience here so others know what to possibly expect if they decide to come here. I thought I'd take a chance on a new hairstylist at JGS for a second time and see if I could get a simple easy to manage hair cut but unfortunately that was not the case. The issue wasn't that the hairstylist Andrea wasn't good, it's that I didn't get exactly what I asked for.I wanted a super straight cut and I got everything except for what I asked for. I will say that it wasn't a horrible cut. It was quite excellent compared to other haircuts I got in the past from other hairstylists-- but just not specifically what I asked.I'm giving this hairstylist 3 stars because she knows how to handle the brush and blow dry hair once it's cut-- but simply failed to follow simple instructions and photos. She definitely has a technique but it's not what I was looking for. If I could sum up what happened exactly-- it's basically she cut my hair the way she liked it and felt comfortable with-- not the way I wanted. This is by far the worst thing that can happen to a customer and is one of my all time greatest pet peeves. I'm glad I'm not that upset about my hair not being exact what I wanted because it does grow back really fast but based on this experience I definitely won't be coming back. Today as I was trying to blow dry my hair to get it to look somewhat decent, it took twice the time to try to get it to sit right and straight and this is exactly what I wanted to avoid. Spending extra time on my hair when it should only have taken 20-30 minutes at the most because it's short and easy. Well now I have short hair but ironically it's not any faster or easier. JGS thanks for trying but it's a definite no and I definitely can not recommend JGS for specialized haircuts or specialized hair color treatment. At this point I can only recommend this salon "if" your the type of person who doesn't have a clear vision of what you want and you don't mind letting your hairstylist experiment-- aka do whatever they want."
"Have been coming here to get my highlights and hair cut since we moved to the Springs 18 months ago and I'm SO thrilled that I found a great place the first time. They always listen to what I want and can duplicate any coloring style I've asked for so far. Not everyone can do that (trust me on that one). I mostly see Felicia but I've also seen the new girl and she did a great job on my hair just before the holidays. A bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for! If you want a cheap color n haircut this probably is not the place for you. But if you want a professional color and cut then this is the place for you! Always able to get appointment without much notice even if they have to squeeze me in they do. Thanks ladies!"

You wouldn't think finding someone to cut and color hair to be so hard! When I moved to Denver from the east coast I had trouble finding someone who didn't try to make me a platinum blonde or who butchered my hair. I finally found someone I loved and stayed with her for the past 10 years. When I moved to Salida full time over a year ago, i was dreading the process of finding someone. I asked various people and Cj's Salon and Gusti came highly recommended. I have been super happy with my hair cut and color treatments even since. I get so many compliments on my hair and her prices are very reasonable.The way she does my highlights and low lights hides the grey longer, so I can extend the time between visits by 1-2 weeks and save money as well. I plan on staying with her for a long long time.

I've been seeing the same stylist in Denver for years and since moving to the Springs, I've been hesitant to try someone new. I'm STOKED I went to Salon Kreed. Michaela did a flipping fantastic job on my hair. I had to tame down my wild coloring for school and she sat with me and discussed all the options and really listened to what I wanted. The color we decided on is subtle but still fun and gives my hair dimension. I wasn't as clear for the haircut initially, so I came back in a second time to see if we could try again and... it's really perfect. Michaela FTW!Greg, the owner, also stopped by and said hi at some point, which was nice. The general vibe of the place is one of collaboration and teamwork. I think that always says a lot about the place, if the stylists like each other. I recommend them highly. I snuck a look at every client as they left and people were all looking good. I imagine this place is going to start being booked out quickly so I'd recommend getting in now while they're decently new!

I'll be honest, the name Hotsy Totsy is not even trying to signal that this is a safe space for guys.But my wife and daughters love this place, my barber shop was starting to disappoint, and they advertise men's cuts.Daniel is AWESOME. He's experienced, fast, and on time always. He listens to feedback unlike some barbers who just do their thing. $35 + tip for this level of service is great. Scheduling is important to me because I hate waiting. Yes it's a salon not a barber shop but whatever. I'm looking for a haircut not a hunting trip.Great shop for something a little "elevated" from what's been in the area before.

They fixed a huge mistake by another salon. I got a terrible hair cut at great clips in Falcon. I called Black Forest salon in tears bc my husband could tell how bad it looked on a FaceTime call from out of the country. Emalee got me in that same day and refused to charge me. (I tipped her anyway!!) She evened out the layers and made my hair look and feel so much better! I'm so grateful for their help and I will definitely go back!

"I was gifted a spa day for my birthday. Having had a massage earlier in the year at a different place I wasn't expecting much. But this place was incredible. The facial and 30 min massage was such an incredible experience. So relaxing and I felt much better after. I subtract 1 star for the mani pedi. The lady was very friendly and nice. The mani pedi looked nice in the dim lighting but outside the polish job was uneven and they gel manicure peeled off not even a week later on my hands. Previous place last 2-3 weeks and generally it's nail growth not peeling or breaking. Even my toe polish is chipping and that normally stays strong for weeks. I'll definitely come back for spa services but I won't do the nail solan again."

So I rely heavily on Yelp reviews every time I get to a new town. Aura's location seemed a little remote to me, but since I'm new to Pueblo I figured I'd take a chance and was really glad I did. There's plenty of parking and multiple services available at Aura. Mandy did an awesome job on my unique color pattern of underlying copper colored panels in my naturally platinum hair. I'm old enough that my natural color is very light, and the pattern was originally placed by a stylist in California. That was 11 years ago and I have worked in many places in different states since then. Many stylists have attempted this color and pattern, not everyone gets it right. Mandy got the shade and placement just right, and trimmed me up nicely. I left very pleased with what I call Pretty Hair. Mandy is my girl, as long as I am in Pueblo!"
"I got the worst haircut of my life 3 months ago at Harmony in Hair. I didn't want to lose a lot of length so I let it grow and went in to get it fixed yesterday at Ron De Vu. Best haircut of my life! Corina took her time and managed to get it mostly fixed. There's one small section that will still need to grow a bit before it's perfect, but it is 10x better now.I didn't get any color done, so I can't review that at this time."

I was inquiring if I could possibly have my granddaughter's haircut done but last time it was walk-in no issue but this time which is understandable I was told by your NOT SO lovely & unfriendly receptionist that I could make an appointment again no issue! I made it for 1:30 pm today & my granddaughter was all excited about getting her haircut. That we absolutely had no problem coming back! Then when I was done w/ my appointment & paying , the same receptionist ( blonde - NON SMILING bundle of joy!) That I was informed by her that the the stylist doesn't cut kid's hair this kid happens to be 12 1/2 year old so I wouldn't classify her as a kid & NOT a squirming baby or a toddler. I said I would reschedule but she fortunately literally pawned me off to the other receptionist who was absolutely much more friendly & nicer! Remember the first impression & nice warm welcome will be everlasting ! But she managed to stay consistent & our last impression was the same as thefirst when we came in "Non Smiling & unfriendly !!! Even my granddaughter noticed how awful she was! I understand if your having a bad day but please leave your poor & unhappy attitude at the front door & not take it out on your loyal customers! Thank goodness we're only out here twice a year b/c I would definitely have to visit when that receptionist is not working! She's the absolute WORST!!!Update: I was on hold for 20:44 minutes till whomever answered the phone to simply cancel appointment. Poor customer service on top of that ! "I have had bad haircut experiences in the past so I'm always a little terrified when trying out a new salon. I called and asked specifically if they have a stylist that has experience cutting my hair type and was able to book an appointment with her set for only a week later. When I arrived at my appointment I was welcomed and told to grab a beverage if I would like from the coffee/tea cart. What!!! complimentary coffee with my haircut, this place knows the way to my heart. I grabbed a coffee in one of their cute mugs. My stylist then came and got me ready for my haircut.My haircut included a wash/conditioner as well as a blow dry style. The stylist make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. I appreciate her asking me to show her the exact amount I wanted trimmed off and kept asking me questions throughout the cut. I love my haircut and this was the best haircut experience I have ever had."

"It took me forever to find a place in this town that could cut hair! The art of a razor seems to be gone, they don't teach it in schools like they used to! So if you want texture, its hard to come by. I have Ria do my hair, but I think the owners (men) are great too. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can have wine while you have your hair done.
