Rhea H. "Mediterranean restaurant with a few shelves of grocery items. Salads were very good but those pita chips were the best!!!! Service was great. The adobe style building has a cute little area in the front for outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back for those pita chips!!!!"

Mik L. "It's been a challenge finding legit Mexican since coming to the Springs. So glad we found this place. The market is great for getting your Asada, Chorizo and other meats that you can't get in other stores. Get your cheeses and pastries too as well as all other necessities for cooking your fav Mexican dishes. We stopped in the restaurant to grab tacos and they were very satisfying! Best Mexican we have had since coming to the Springs. Everyone we have encountered here has been very nice and helpful especially since we don't speak Spanish and some employees speak only Spanish."

Joshua G. "Absolutely delicious. I'm sure it's been said but don't let the looks of the place fool you, this is delicious home cooking. The lady thought I wouldn't like the food but when I told her I knew what chocolate stew was she smiled and filled my plate. The menu changes daily and you pay by how many items you want. But she's generous and even brought me out more rice when she saw I ate it all. Filipino food is always one of my favorites and I love when you find a home feeling kind of place. I'll be back."

Chieko K. "My go to grocery store when I'm in the area. Staff are as you expect from a grocery store chain, nothing impressive but nothing to complain about. This one is right outside one of the upper middle class neighborhoods so I feel like maybe they upkeep it a little better than others at times. Prices are higher here versus king Soopers but sometimes you get some of the nicer brands here. Hit or miss. What I love here is the grocery store French bread. I know it's so silly but I LOVE the crunch of that French bread matched with the soft doughiness of the inside. Period. I used to frequent the Starbucks here a lot and it was really convenient, but we're not supporting them anymore so. Seating: some tables at the StarbucksParking: free parking lot, but sucks during snowstorms Wifi: noPayment: cash, card, tapVibe: grocery store chain Dress code: casual"

Bee W. "This store has more selections than a closer location. A large parking lot. I found everything I needed and saw some good Asian snacks. They have salmon skin seasoned in different ways. And Mochi brand snack bites. Went by the meat department and they had many different meats. The cashier was efficient. The store was pretty clean except for a spill in an aisle. It's a convenient location so I will stop in again."

Talia H. "Look here's the thing... this is an authentic Russian market. I would never have stopped in if my husband's family wasn't Ukrainian/Belorussian. Honestly, if I went by myself I would probably stress about not knowing what is going on but they have the best prepared foods and such good deals. But remember, this is a different culture and mindset. The food is incredible. Get the shashlik kebab, Golubtsi (stuffed cabbage), carrot, beet, or cabbage salads. Also if you see triangle cake, GET IT! They have amazing Farmers Cheese, caviar, herring, black bread, beef salami (the Evreiskaya is amazing). So yes, there is a language barrier and yes, it may be uncomfortable at first, if you are adventurous and enjoy eastern european food, you must try this place!"

Missy B. "Friendly staff, well organized and well stocked. This is my go-to for groceries and the aisle set up is ideal for the way I like to shop. I am always able to find an employee if I need help finding an item and the aisles are always clean. They now have a new Safeway U coupon program in which you can go online and "clip" coupons for items that you use and it will sync with your Safeway club card and give you the discount at the register. Its an awesome alternative to downloading those pesky coupon-printing programs and printing them at home- saves paper too!The only reason this store did not receive 5 stars is because they have been doing this thing in which everytime anyone donates money at the register for whatever charity of the month it is, they yell over the loudspeaker. The yell includes an especially obnoxious "WOO HOO!" -Not cool. Especially when you are in there for an hour trying to get all of your shopping done. I get the point- they want to acknowledge the donator, but really? EVERY TIME?!Another reason for the 3 star rating is that there is not always a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. We used to shop somewhere else for all of our fresh produce for this reason, but that place has since closed down. Also, the meat selection isn't always that great either. We usually end up heading to Costco for our meat and don't even bother at Safeway.Oh, the price you pay for convenience, right?!"

Mark T. "Azul! It's time for another review, and what better place than Rocky Mountain Meat Market at Colorado/Iliff? Yea, they've got your lamb shanks, your prime beef. and (of course!) your spicy Merguez sausage, but there is so much more to peep at in this cozy little nook. The owner of RMMM is in fact Amazigh from Algeria (you'll notice that the Halal sign on the wall has English, Arabic, *and* Tifinagh letters when you enter), and his intent is to bring a bounty of North African delectables to his ever-eager customer base. Are you needing some hot-as-heck Harissa sauce from Tunisia to add some chile to your cooking? You can find it here - and how! Maybe instead you're in search of a nice big bag of couscous straight from Casablanca? Again, you've come to the right place. And how about a selection of soda from the proprietor's home country? One of my favorites in this regard is Selecto. "Oh, how does that one taste?", I hear you inquire. Well, it's kind of, um, apple-y, date-y, coke-y... hmm, maybe I should stop trying to describe it - let's just say you'll love it and leave it at that. But then, there are also bottles of orange-flower water, chocolate custard mixes, cans of succulently-sauced tuna, boxes of mint tea - basically, all your Maghrebi food needs will be filled in a single visit here.As it turns out however, it's truly your lucky day, because RMMM in fact features products from all across the Near and Middle East to enthuse over. How about a jumbo-sized can of ghee from Jordan (adorned with a very aerodynamic gazelle)? Or some fava beans with a plethora of seasoning choices, whether your tastes lean more towards Lebanon, Egypt, or al-Khalij (the Gulf region)? Ooh, those chocolate/hazelnut cookies from Turkey look good don't they? And I can attest that they're even more flavorful than you can imagine. And naturally, the shelves are filled with jars upon jars of pickled and preserved vegetables of all kinds too - from cucumbers, to olives, to grape leaves, to.... Oops! I really should watch where I'm going a bit more, shouldn't I? I very nearly backed into this substantial selection of enormous bags of rice from India and Pakistan. But my favorite part of the shop is probably the cooler, where I can buy Kalb el Louz (Algerian semolina/almond cake) or Mille-Feuille (layered cream pastry)."
