I have been a member there for a few years now, and the staff is always friendly and the course is always in great shape. The only time I've ever had trouble getting a teatime has been when they've been extremely busy either on weekends or holidays. The grill at the club does a good job and Service has always been top notch from the pro shop and the rest of the staff. I go here all the time with clients and friends and have never had anything but a perfect outing."

While I can't speak to the golf, I can speak to the community and grounds - which are both fantastic. It's a very well-maintained area with lovely landscaping and and a peaceful atmosphere. The lake is serene, and there are some beautiful walking paths around the golf course that also meander through nearby parks. Even if you're not coming for the golf, you're bound to enjoy a lovely day outside."

Tis the motto I'm working with this Summer and a good one at that!Because we've played maaannnyyyyy of the other (public) courses throughout the city, it was my mission to find one that was: 1) Decently close(ish) to home and 2) A course we hadn't played yet!Enter: Meadow Hills.PRO: Easy peasy reservation process. I was able to book online, choose a time and enter our parties information in, without having to pay up front!CON: They only have the "walking" rates available online, although carts are available upon request for an additional charge.PRO: Pricing is under $22/person during the week and weekends.CON: No resident rate or military discount is offered.PRO: Pro shop is large, clean and features a large amount of merchandise.CON: The "half-off" rack featured polo's that were not correctly priced, so what I thought was a $15 shirt, was $30.PRO: Greens are GORGEOUS. Because it is one of the older courses in Aurora, the trees are mature, there is plenty of shade, and the course provides quite the backdrop for photos and overall experience.CON: This course is tough! A full length, regular sized course for both the front and back nine. Be prepared to encounter water, sand and the occasional goose!PRO: We booked the last tee time for 6:20, arrived early, with no one ahead or behind us!CON: Carts must be returned by 8:00pm, so you either have to be a great golfer or skip the last 2 holes like we had to :/PRO: Bar and grill out front for your drinking and dining needs! Able to buy drinks to accompany you on the course.CON: Eh, nothing amazing was offered and the pricing was outrageous for a six pack of beer. Although there is a con to each pro, this course was beautiful and fun to attempt in playing, but I'll have to up my golf game to return!"

Alisha Alexandra H. "There's something undeniably summer about combining a leisurely lunch with a round of golf. And when you do it at The Club at Inverness, it's a Colorado experience you won't forget. Over the weekend we indulged in this exact day, starting with lunch at Breckenridge Brewery, Ale & Game House on the golf course, and finishing with 9 holes. We arrived at The Club at Inverness and headed outside to Breckenridge Brewery's beer garden. The lovely views included manicured greens, fountains, and a pond. It was the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. The menu boasted an array of options, from classic pub fare to local beers. The Palisade Peach Wheat was made with peaches from Palisade Colorado - it was a fruit-forward unfiltered American-style wheat ale bursting with bright and juicy peach flavor. The Juice Drop IPA had a distinct coconut-like characteristic. There were tropical hop layers without bitterness due to the experimental hop known as HBC 472.The Pub Burger was made with American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickle tomato, onion, house sauce, & a side of coleslaw. The burger was great & had a nice juicy patty. The Reuben was made with sliced pastrami, rye bread, Dijon, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, & thousand island dressing. The pastrami delivered a smoky & spicy flavor with a slightly sweet undertone. The sandwich had a satisfyingly crunchy texture from the rye bread and sauerkraut.Following our lunch, we walked over to The Club to golf. Tee times are open to hotel guests and members only. The Club offers social memberships for Colorado residents, which include several perks such as food and beverage discounts, pro shop deals, guest passes, and more. The Golf Marshalls Don & Smokey were wonderful and made sure we were comfortable with the course and had everything we needed to play.Designed by legendary architect J. Press Maxwell, Inverness Golf Course is a true gem. The course is a strategic thinker's paradise, with subtle slopes, rolling fairways, and menacing bunkers that demand careful shot placement. Even on a very hot day in August, the challenge was irresistible, and we had a great time.As guests at Inverness, we got a taste of the lifestyle offered to members!"

This course is definitely more relaxed and a great deal if looking for a few rounds and don't want to spend a ton of $$$. It was $45/ person for 18 holes. The course itself was not terribly difficult, but there was some narrow fairways that made it challenging at times. Our only complaint was cart paths were pretty rough in places due to washed out gravel. The service and other patrons were WONDERFUL! Our group of 4 agreed that everyone we came into contact with was SUPER friendly:) , overall the friendliest place we've ever played away from home. We had a great day! Thank you!!"

The party planner, Amy, was very helpful with all questions and concerns, booked the room and sent us home with a packet containing more info concerning all aspects of having a party at the facility. The day of the party we were allowed in an hour ahead of time and had minimal decorating to do. Amy and her staff had everything set up and ready to go and people started showing up. Dinner was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. We had around 30 people in attendance and fit perfectly within the room. Everyone had a great time and loved the venue, the party ended and Amy and staff handled the clean up. A great decision choosing Amy and Homesteads club house."

Joe Y. "I'm not a avid golfer and do not hold a private membership to any fancy pants clubs. So take this review with a grain of salt. However I have golfed at at least 20-30 different courses in different parts of the county and abroad. This course is fairly easy to get to off of I-25. It was designed by Pete Dye and has been open since 1984. My beef with Colorado courses is that the ground is very hard in the winter so you have to adjust your swing. Lots of residential homes on the course and you will likely hit out of bounds to some of their backyards. But overall not too many traps and the new clubhouse is nice. Rates are about $60-$90 with cart included. The carts are very modern with GPS and it won't let you drive off course keeping the greens in good condition. Final 3 holes most difficult."

It is, after all, a country club. This is a very nice little country club, tucked away among the residential neighborhoods of Southglenn. It's not big or fancy, but the memberships are some of the best value for recreational facilities in the area. They've got a 9-hole golf course, regulation-length swimming pool, and two tennis courts. The staff are very friendly and accommodating; the whole place is run with a very personal touch. I don't golf, so I will only comment on the bar and food service. They need a food/bar manager who pays more attention to details. They do not schedule enough bartenders during peak times, so the drinks come very slow. My host ordered a second round before the first was served because she saw how slow the bar service was that night. On other occasions the room was not set up with the requested snacks prior to our arrival as requested. Very frustrating.I contrast this with the El Paso Club which seems to do everything flawlessly. One final complaint. I ordered a salad with my entree. I was embarrassed when an entree-sized salad was presented. I have made this same faus pas elsewhere, but was always saved in the past by the server informing me of the size of the salad.I was not on the golf course and did not avail myself of the pool, but the bar/dining areas seemd very well cared for and clean."

Adam S. "This is a premium public course in the Denver Metro, situated outside of Castle Pines (about 20-25 minutes South, depending on where you're coming from). I'll just say that I've played it twice, and I'm very impressed. To put it in perspective, Golf Magazine has this as #7 for Public, but ahead of it are two Broadmoor Courses and three out in Western Colorado which is supposed to be ideal. So, pretty solid. And, it is. It's a more expensive golf experience but there are many deals to be had on some of the discount sites. I would suggest playing this track if you're visiting or if you live in the Front Range Area but haven't played it. The geography and terrain of Castle Pines lives up to the majesty of its name. The Ridge is carved along some beautiful contours and you get spectacular vistas. The golf is terrific. Lots of good holes, and I think the starting sequence is a great way to ease into playing well. I am thoroughly impressed and the Front Nine was especially impressive. As you settle into your round you are treated to hole after hole from 5-10. I think it loses momentum after that, but has a ton of great individual moments. 18 is a Bucket-List Tee Box. Look at the photos. I added a lot.Oh, it's also a great course. Good test of golf. Absolutely Colorado at it's Best. Great service and quality. Highly recommended. Also, good Pro Shop and Bar. So, it's got that going for it. Which is nice."

After the ceremony, we had delicious hors d'oeuvres outside and enjoyed the sun and views. The dinner was held inside a hall that fit about 150 people. All the food was made in-house and was great! My mother used to stay here when she came to visit, because she doesn't like being awakened by small children, or sharing a bathroom with them. Rooms are pleasant, if not luxurious. My mother always had the same room, a large one overlooking the golf course, I think. We went a few times for lunch, dinner, drinks by the bar, or on the patio. Perfectly nice experiences, and no complaints about the food. The patio was packed when we arrived, but we managed to find seats inside. It's basically a suburban clubhouse. Decor is basic. There are no seats at the bars, just table seating. This is weird. Lots of people in golf clothes, unsurprisingly. There was a guitarist playing and singing. Our server, Maddie, was cheerful and friendly. The dirty table was cleared and cleaned quickly, so that we could sit down. The drinks were fine. This bar is more casual than the lobby bar. It's a nice, if perhaps insular, place near the house. I don't remember when the bar closes, but probably not too late. Would return, but in suburban clothes so I don't stand out. It really seems like a local hangout, with the same crowd there all the time."

Christine S. "I would've given it 1 star, but I'll bump it to 2 stars for the course itself, the facilities, the lovely staff, & even the surrounding neighborhood. It's a gorgeous, one of a kind area and everyone should play it at least once if they can. However in terms of becoming a member, this ain't it.My husband and I were days away from fully activating our membership under my father in law's membership. My basic takeway if you want a quick summary is that the club has bylaws on paper, but when it comes to enforcing said rules, they clearly don't apply to everyone. If you're cool with the way this club is managed (no checks & balances as there is no board just one guy running everything, select enforcement of bylaws, & a more relaxed clubhouse etiquette) then maybe you'd be fine here. We decided to drop the membership before it even began & take our business to another private club. Two instances happened to turn us off. 1) We encountered a rude single player at the 17th hole who was not part of the group behind us that essentially harassed us to hurry up our game until we finished. It was in no means a request to play through as that would've meant him skipping the last 2 holes since there were groups well spaced in front of us. I had to pick up my ball and not play 17 & 18 because this guy would not chill despite the fact we were under pace of play. He ended up being parked next to us as we unloaded our bags in his midlife crisis Aston Martin. We never saw any marshals on the course that day so we never reported it because we hoped he was just a one off. It burned a bit more since it was our first ever round at the course that we had been looking forward to for months.2) The final straw was on Ryder Cup Saturday. Only recounting my husband's first hand experience since our father in law had his own run in with these folks as well. Two members who my husband has never seen or spoken to in his life were beligerant & threatening to pick a fight with him as he walked past the clubhouse entrance to his car from the driving range (they'd most likely had one too many drinks). This was in broad daylight in front of children hitting balls at the range. My husband was never interviewed for his side of the story nor were 2 waitstaff employees who would be considered unbiased witnesses. The decision made was that because of the length of their membership here and the owner's lack of knowledge of any history of behavior like this that nothing would be done. The offending members even had the gall to say they were trying to apologize but last I checked you don't usually color apologies with cuss words.Bottom line: members clearly broke the club bylaws, which was acknowledged by management, but there were no consequences for their actions aka there are no bylaws. This elitest club left a bad taste in our mouths akin to the whole Weinstein/Epstein saga in the sense that if you are considered part of the "in crowd" the laws, or in this case, the bylaws don't apply to you. Everyone else is just a second class citizen. Rules for thee but not for me. Can't believe I'm saying this but it should be common sense. If a club doesn't have a zero tolerance, immediate reaction to a threat of violence, you need to run the other way."

Signage is poor, and there are no course maps available - as a result we had to backtrack several times during the round to find the next tee box. There was no Starter at the first tee, and that resulted in some chaos with four groups waiting to tee off, but everyone was civil and pace of play was marginally acceptable. Possibly the biggest negative about Antler Creek was the complete lack of drinking water on the course, and absolutely no beverage cart service on the hot afternoon we played there.
