"We finally got to try Denver Taco Truck after tracking it down for months!! Between the business being booked for private events and/or the truck relocating to another site that's far from us, the stars finally aligned one Saturday afternoon at Mockery Brewing. We purchased 5 tacos (shrimp, BLT, teriyaki chicken, cheese steak, and gringo) and chicken nacho fries... so delicious. Each taco had generous fillings, meat was tender and savory, and seasoning were perfect. Fries were packed with flavor. I'm practically drooling thinking about the taste. Guys in the truck we're also nice and friendly! The food came out quick, and we were able to bring the food into the brewery! Beer and tacos? Yes please!"
"Is it a giro or a hero? I know it's spelled "gyro". I'm just going to call it a giro.Yep, that is the conversation I had with one of the operators of this lovely food truck, who has elected to visit our office in Meridian on a monthly basis. I'm not sure they were amused and shut me up by delivering a delicious wrap of meat product, veggies and cheese along with some of the best french fires I've had in a while. For $12, I may argue that is a little pricey for the food itself. But remember, they come to you! So think of your food purchase as including a delivery charge. And get over it! Don't let your brain get in the way of a delicious lunch or dinner."

"Love supporting our local food trucks. Ran into Cowgirl Kettle corn and Lemonade at an event. They specialize in their homemade kettle corn which they have been selling on the same location for over 10 hrs. They have homemade lemonade, recently added spiced nuts, freeze dried candies and my favorite boiled peanuts! They carry the std boiled peanuts but also a batch that is boiled in Old Bay seasoning. Tastes like home and so fresh! The quality of their snacks is so good and you'll find them on the same corner with the same great service that won't disappoint you!"
"Had the classic burger at the Abbey tonight it was AHMAZING!!!! The crew is great and so friendly and accommodating to any special requests even when it started raining!"
"My community had a food truck night with Cruz In & Eat and it was great. We had the Chile Relleno and an assortment of tacos (chicken, steak, and both shrimp types). They were really good. Their pico is great and the salsa verde was quite spicy. You can order online and then just go pick it up, or you can order at the truck and they give you a little buzzer for when your food is ready. Which was great because it was cold outside so we wanted to go back and sit in the car."
"Had their Italian Beef sandwich at Strange Craft Brewery, and it was great. Every part of the sandwich was delicious. Bread was fresh baked, beef was perfectly spiced (a tad dry, but the au jus with it was perfect), and it came with giardineira, just like in Chicago."
"We hit up Woody's at the food truck rally by Big R in fountain. I let my daughter's pick and they both agreed on pizza. And let me tell you...they made the right choice. We got the chicken, bacon, ranch. I loved how the red sauce had chunks of tomatoes, there was plenty of chicken, bacon was crispy and they drizzled the ranch on top before closing the box. The crust was thin, but not crunchy and the crust was very yummy. We devoured it! The wait was a little long, but after eating it I understand why. I can't wait to take my hubby!"
"I pulled up to this food truck late on Tuesday curious to see what it had to offer. I found an Asian fusion food truck with a great team who were so pleasant to speak to. They explained to me how often they were at this location and were pleasant to talk to. I recommend this truck for the food, convince as they were in my subdivision on a Thursday evening, and the nice atmosphere. I ordered the grilled pork belly rice bowl and the sesame balls and I loved them! The pork was so well cooked and flavored, the carrots were fresh, the pickled onions and kimchi cucumbers were full of flavor. I saved some of the sesame balls for my kids who love Asian treats. I need to try their Lo-mein and lumpia next time. They had multiple ways to pay and I appreciated being able to use venmo or Zelle Vs one of my cards. I know it's an odd detail but I love it when a food truck has a quiet generator. I had to listen for it while I waited for my food. I appreciate not having to shout to hear them and be able to make a phone call while I waited for my food."
"We moved to Colorado from Southern California, specifically San Diego and then Los Angeles and we have been searching for a burrito that resembles the Baja Mexican food we love and miss. Baja Berto's is exactly that! We wish it was easier to find his truck especially on the weekends when all we want is a good authentic breakfast burrito! But when you can find it it is the best Mexican in Denver we have found!"
"This truck is always parked in the same spot on Fountain and always at the same time. Friday afternoon through sunday night you can find this awesome little truck parked near the gas station in the empty dirt lot cooking up a storm. It doesn't matter what time it is, you will always see people from the neighborhood standing outside the truck either waiting on their order or shoveling their order down their mouth. My wife and I usually get the tacos Al Pastor (pork) and they are SOOOO good. I tried the Carne Asada but I still prefer the pork. For those more adventurous, they have Lengua as well as some other stuff that seemed like it was out of my comfort zone. Every order comes with a little zip lock baggy filled with diced onions and cilantro as well as some incredibly awesome salsa and salsa verde. I'm pretty sure they only take cash so be prepared before you arrive. If you ever need a late night snack be sure to come here and grab some tacos to go. WARNING: the neighborhood is sketchy as shit so grab your tacos and go. We've never had any problems while ordering, but my head is on a swivel every time I come."
"Was not expecting to be blown away by kabobs this good. Also did not expect chicken n waffles on a stick to be THE BEST I've ever had after eating all over the entire country for over 3 decades. 11/10, I'm chasing this thing all over town."
"Good and fun, worth the stop. The ladies that run the truck are awesome and friendly. They make a mean street taco. This was a welcome alternative from the restaurants on main street. We came with another family and there was something for everyone."

Very bland and expensive tacos. Pricing for a street taco was $5 or $6 but barely had any meat or flavor. You don't get a lot for your money and probably could have had better if you made it at home. I hope they can turn it around. Chicken on the chicken nachos were flavorful however.

Wow! This was such an unexpected treat! Absolutely amazing quality and great value! The sausage was so flavorful and the 'rogies were out of this world! You can tell that the owners really take pride in what they are serving. All in all, I would chase this truck down the street! That's how good it was.

This is easily the best pizza I've had since leaving New York in 2012!!!! Witty Pork's Woodfired Pizza is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It's hard for this New Yorker to admit (because we love being pizza snobs), but, I will give credit where credit is due. This pizza rocks. The staff at the food truck were really cool too! We had Witty Porks Pizza when we were at Lost Friend Brewing Company in Colorado Springs. Nothing like great beer and great pizza. Check out this picture of my pizza. I ate the entire thing by myself. That's how great it was. Fresh, awesome sauce, crust was perfection. Sooooo impressed.

Tried this food truck today for the first time at the Black Forest backyard market. I was expecting decent food but was pleasantly surprised when it surpassed my expectations. Hands down best Asian fusion food in Colorado Springs. We've been exploring the Asian restaurants in the area and this place is top notch. We got the pork belly rice and beef bulgogi bowls. The meat was tender and flavorful, the bowls were prepared with fresh delicious ingredients and the balance of flavor was perfect. On top of it the customer service was also above normal standards. They were friendly, helpful, and kind, offering recommendations and considerations. We will be returning customers for sure!

"Alright, so after walking by this food cart many many times on my way into/out of Lowes for home improvement type stuff; I finally gave it a try. A friend and I arrived at about 10:15 on a weekday and ordered two breakfast burritos. WOW. Very very good! We still haven't tried the dogs or brats, but if the burritos are any indication they will not disappoint. The burrito was loaded with eggs, hash browns, bacon, cheese, and he threw on some freshly chopped jalapenos and some salsa at my request. It was piping hot and you get to watch your food get prepared right before your eyes which is nice. We watched him construct a good looking chicago style dog for another customer before he started on our burritos. It looked delicious and it almost made me wish I had ordered a dog as well...but that would have put me into a food coma for sure. The guy who runs this stand is really nice and seems to enjoy what he does. I really like it when you can see someone who takes pride in their craft. He is open every day except Monday, and apparently he has a loyal horde of regulars because he told us that they get mad at him if he ever misses a day. I don't think he misses very many. I will report back when I try the dogs...which very well might be tomorrow because that burrito was so dang delicious."
"I love international travel and delicious food! When I saw there is finally a Peruvian restaurant in town, I immediately made plans to visit. In 2018, I visited Peru to fulfill a lifelong dream of exploring Machu Picchu in Peru. Little did i know I would so thoroughly love the place, the people, the culture and the food!I had so many memorable foodie memories from my two weeks exploring multiple regions. So, walking into Taytacha was a great way to revive some of these memories. Papas rellenas, papas a la Huancaina, anticuchos, and ceviche were all on the menu. Today, i had the papas rellena and papas a la huancaina with a chicha to drink. The papas rellenas was a baked potato stuffed with beef, onion and raisins that is then fried (I think) with a crispy outer coating and a delicious sauce on top. Also, the papas a la huancaina, boiled potato with a creamy yellow pepper sauce smothering it. So delicious! Next time I come, I'll definitely have the ceviche and anticuchos (grilled beef heart on a skewer).Today, i also picked up some Peruvian popping corn, chulpa. And some wonderful Peruvian lucuma ice cream. The restaurant is brand new. The decor may take some time, but the wonderful food and welcoming service more than makes up for it."
"Hey these guys are now posted up at the best brewery in the valley, Elevation!Updated menu includes burgers, hearty sandwiches, savory appetizers, and Pizza on Friday's. We ordered the burger and it was perfectly cooked and enjoyable. We also love the beer cheese dip. Food is all sourced locally and their bread is baked from scratch. Whether you're at Elevation or looking for a bite to eat after skiing all day, stop by and say hi Kinsey and Dustin."
"Passing through town on our trip from Virginia and so glad we found this place !We got carne asada tacos and both me and my partner are particular - he likes no pico and I like no cheese or sour cream and there were no issues !Delicious , the extra dollar for carne asada was so worth it. Great texture , flavor and not abunch of fat like some places.I also asked for a side of rice and beans - the rice is white but nice and fluffy and the beans were whole pinto and they gave salt to sprinkle on the beans since they usually put in the burritos only - perfect taste ! We got the spicy hot cause and it was flavorful AND the right amount of heat.Friendly service , good energy and smiles. It's a cute food truck and outside picnic tables had shade and sun, you could hear nearby running water. A must try!"
"Uptown & Humboldt is a special place. I've seen every iteration of them over the years. From food trucking and meal prepping to hotel brunching and food stalling, these cats have been ALL OVER the Greater Denver metro area sharing their culinary creativity with the masses. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone kinder and more passionate about the community more than Gio and his business partner, Hayden. The ethos of Uptown & Humboldt stems from their travels around the world and their culinary adventures. The end result is nothing short of damn delicious food. The current menu revolves around their gyros and burgers. You can't go wrong with anything you try. The FMB and Berlin burgers are absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit I went with my favorite order: the Lamb Gyro and Yuca Fries. This combination is magnificent. The lamb tender and the gyro filling. The yuca fries somehow steal the show every time, with the garlic cilantro aioli in th running for most addictive side sauce in Denver.PRO TIP: wash it down with a Pineapple Basil Agua Fresca. It puts all other agua frescas to shame. Splurge on the drink, IT'S BEYOND WORTH IT.If you're at their food stall at Zeppelin Station, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't try anything from their newer tapas menu. The two standouts are the Truffle Manchego Croquettes and the Pistachio Whipped Feta. Just take my money and call it a day.If you find their food truck and they happen to be serving breakfast burritos, order one. Actually order seven. In the breakfast burrito-obsessed world of Colorado, theirs are TOP TIER. These are craveworthy. Like going out in a blizzard craveworthy!I'm one of Gio and Hayden's biggest fans. They've accomplished so much in a short period of time, but I have a feeling they have big things on their horizon. Wonderful people, excellent food, and a burning desire to do good in this world. If that isn't the recipe for success and happiness, I don't know what is."
"I was a damn fool for not coming over here and trying out the food before. It's absolutely an amazing experience eating this food. You owe it to yourself just to go try it. There is a reason why I go to food trucks like this. It's because of the love in the food that they add."
"It seems like every time you turn your head in Denver, there is a new food truck popping up. I wouldn't be surprised if they were growing as rapidly as breweries (the two do complement each other nicely, after all). And with so many new additions to the scene, sometimes it's hard to know which ones will be great and which are a letdown. I decided to take my chance on Skadi's the other night at Strange and was pleasantly surprised. Though Skadi's focus appears to be primarily on sandwiches, the thing that caught my eye was their "Cody Mac" (sauce mornay, roasted carrots & garlic). I love roasted carrots and I LOOOVE mac n cheese, and this was a very good rendition of both. 'Adult' mac n cheese, if you will. The price of $9 seemed a little steep initially, but it was a generous portion and came with a delicious side salad. I would definitely like to try them again the next time I see this truck!"
"Amazing tacos! Don't be put off at first sight....it's a funky food truck in a dirt parking lot. Had the Carnitas street tacos.,, so delicious, really fine tortillas and excellent salsas. Would eat here everyday if I lived in Leadville."
"I tried Brisket ? Eggrolls and fries for $12. VERY GOOD. Watching others every dish looked outstanding. Soda in cans, water in bottles. Very friendly family service."
"One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito with everything except rice. I also grabbed some of their hot (red) and mild (green) salsas. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked well and the flavors all melded together perfectly. The salsa's were refreshing, delicious, and had just the right amount of spice. Haven't had their tacos or other food, but the breakfast burritos are highly recommended!"
"Fire chicken and friendly owners!!! Comes with beans, rice, corn tortillas, salsa, grilled onions and jalapeños. Located on the side of Home Depot. The address provided will get you there. Cash only friends."
"Amazing barbacoa tacos! Carnitas was a little dry and lacking in flavor. Al pastor and asada were standard. $3/taco as of February 2025. Quick to order and about 10 minutes for food to be ready. This food truck is located in the parking lot of the Advanced Auto Parts store. There is no seating available. They do take card and apple/google pay."
"Lucky to score Lucky Bird! This food truck came to my 'hood recently and it was such a nice change of pace. We ordered a Spicy Bird sandwich, chicken tenders and loaded sweet potato fries. It was easy to order and pay online via their website and our food was fresh out of the fryer upon arrival. The Spicy Bird sandwich was the standout. It was a big piece of fried chicken topped with gochujang butter and house pickles on a potato bun. I was impressed by the size of the chicken tenders but thought the breading was lacking flavor, so the honey mustard helped. For that reason, I'd opt for the asian or buffalo blue tenders next time which have sauce. The loaded waffle fries included cotija cheese, buttermilk dressing, bacon and scallions. I liked them! The people working there were super friendly. I'd definitely try it again the next time the truck rolls through!"
"I cannot suggest this pizza truck enough. The pizza is delicious, and the owner is very kind and appreciative. We haven't had a pizza we don't like"
"Best BBQ and comfort food in Colorado. Highly recommend!Service is great and the owner really takes pride in their food"
"Best place for snow cones hands down! They are super affordable and load up on flavor. They have a TON flavors to choose from, plus a list of concoctions to choose from. There is even a kids menu, with everything from princess peach to Spiderman. You MUST get it snow-capped! You can get it stuffed with ice cream, caramel, more snowcap! My kids always ask for their snow cones over any other place. They are melt in your mouth...mmmm mmmm good!"
"Some of the best BBQ I've had since moving out to CO. The beef cheek is a do not miss!! And the Mac and cheese is phenomenal!!!!"
"Wow! Just tried them for the first time today at the Food Truck Tuesday at the Pioneer Museum. I got the chipotle ranch chicken wrap and it was perfection- so delicious with great flavors and satisfying textures and it made me so happy and has carried me through my afternoon of work without me getting hungry at all. I want to go back to get it again already! The seasoned fries were also really yummy. My cousin got the pork belly sandwich with blueberry BBQ sauce and loved every bite. The person at the window was nice and I appreciated the little buzzer like you get at restaurants so you know when the food is ready and you don't have to stand right there staring longingly at the window. I was impressed and will be back for sure!"
"Ok I'm gonna be straight up with all of y'all, this is the best Mexican food truck that was invented, So first I got the horchata... I and gotta say it was Perfect. Then some Tepex tacos, I'm pretty sure these tacos created street tacos cause man these are good. The service was OK to say the least i mean man was nice but the dude had his kid out! Usually I wouldn't care but kid had some saucy lips, which doesn't matter in the long run but it's time for the... AMBIANCE! What are you seriously trying to find out what the ambiance of a food truck? wow. But yea overall 5/5"
"We ordered the Pork Chop sandwich with fries (take out) and it was fabulous. Freddie gave us a sample of caramel popcorn mixed with cheese popcorn and that too came home with us because it is delicious. Because of COVID-19, operating hours are reduced, so check their Facebook page for the latest update. Highly recommend this place!"
"Where do we start... The food was good; however it was over priced and underwhelming considering you don't get very much for what you paid for. Cheesestake was good but about the size of a hot dog with the same amount of meat put on a subway sandwich (they count slices and we all know it) After eating it and a "full" side of fries- I'm still hungry. $30 dollars paid (me and my husband) and we are still hungry. Mehhhh"
"AMAZING!!! Service is outstanding! 6 puerquitos . Chicken quesadilla is off the charts! Give this food truck a try! You will not be disappointed."
"Tuesday June 2nd 2015. Civic Center Eats 2015 LUNCH Time was about 11:05hrs ish.Portion size is doable. Taste wise doable though they can do better. Its filled with HUGE Chunks of LOBSTER Meat. The cost was $16.00 per Traditional Lobster Bun. The TAX included for the purchase was $2.60. It comes with Coleslaw. There is room for improvement by this Lobster Food Truck in town.If I could recall correctly, my friend ordered the "HOT" kind of Lobster Roll, while I opt to have the "COLD" kind of Lobster Roll. We received our order about 11:20hrs ish.Take note, you need to come to this Food Truck WAY EARLY coz, the lines to wait can be lengthy for some if you are on a time crunch just to have Lobster for your Lunch. May return to this FOOD TRUCK hopefully one day in 2016 so perhaps my review might differ.Man, by writing this review it brought me fond memories WAY BACK in YEAR 2000 back in Maine. If ONLY MAINE is closer in real life. *SIGH*3.5 STARS@2015"
