"Snarfs is my favorite local sandwich shop/chain in Colorado! Each sandwich is handcrafted with love and fills me up every single time. I've tried most of what they offer but a couple stands out particularly their motherclucker and Italian sandwiches. Their house peppers are to die for and adds a nice little zing to each bite! In the photo was their special which was the Italian but with meatballs and marinara which was amazing.Ok but what about their off menu offerings? Boy get the Mother clucker now! Rotisserie chicken, veggies and the secret ingredient...honey! It adds a nice little sweetness which cuts into the saltiness to the toppings. You won't be disappointed! We've only been two of their locations, which are the cherry Creek and University shops, but both provide amazing service and good eats."
"Great place to grab a sammich. Their menu is crazy long! I had a difficult time choosing which sandwich to eat. It's a fun atmosphere like how they use cards for table numbers when delivering your food. Very unique. The service was good albeit a bit frazzled during lunch rush hour. They carry Boulder Canyon Chips and if you love salt and vinegar--theirs with malt vinegar is the best!"

"Denver has a bunch of delis, would be delis, pretend delis, sandwich shops that think they're delis, sort of Jewish delis, and the New York Deli News which is the closest thing we've got to a classic, New York City-style Jewish deli. It has been my favorite since they opened in 1989 and it is my favorite now. They hit all of my hot buttons: matzo ball soup, deli salads, chopped liver, a huge list of fantastic, overstuffed sandwiches (corned beef, pastrami, corned beef & pastrami!), blintzes, all day breakfast, and weekend brunch. The space was getting a little tired on my last visit several months ago, but I was surprised this visit with a fancy new sign, a new color scheme, new menus, a tidied up interior, and new systems, including very nice hand-held terminals for the servers. Everything ran very efficiently.I had my frequent order of blintzes on this visit. They were tasty, hot, and fresh. My friend had a very generously-sized cheese omelet which he enjoyed. I love the matzo ball (chicken) soup here. The matzo balls are always tender and the soup richly flavored. The sandwiches are great. You can't go wrong with any of them. This place hits the spot whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The New York Deli News is one of Denver's treasures. This is the place for the authentic New York deli experience. Accept no substitutes."
"This was easily the best sandwich I've had in Denver. They slice the deli meat fresh and make each sandwich fresh. They have great gluten free bread too! The vibes feel like you stumbled into a humble New York sandwich shop, but are about to have the best sandwich if your life. The staff is friendly, the place looks very unassuming and simple, but their product is stellar. This is such a great neighborhood spot!"
"2 years later, it's time for an updated review! My friend and I walked to Lou's from our dance studio for lunch, and it's still one of the best sandwich shops in town. There are so many options, including groceries in their refrigerated sections. I ended up ordering a Muffeletta because I looove olives and it was recommended by one of the staff members there. The half portion was perfect. Apparently they do quarter portions as well. Definitely want to try some of their plates in the future. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can pair your sandwich with one of the beverages in their labeled fridges. Plenty of street parking in the area. Excited to come back and support Lou's again!"
"We've driven by Latke Love a bunch of times and always say "we need to try that place." Well, today we did and we are so glad we did, it was delicious! The restaurant is small and cozy, it looks like walking into your grandma's house. When we walked in the food smelled incredible! The owner was really friendly and answered all of our questions. The food was outstanding, some of the freshest salmon I've ever tasted and I'd buy the dill cream if they sold it! The Guinness gravy and brisket were amazing and perfectly seasoned, and the latkes were outstanding! To top it all off, the homemade applesauce was delicious. We are very much looking forward to going again!"
"The smoked meats on Fridays are impossible to beat. The service is exceptional, I was asked if I needed help numerous times. The employees seem so happy to work there and are very helpful. I love the ambiance, the well stocked shelves and smells are delightful. Don't forget to buy a deli sandwich! Holy smokes delicious."
"Will be coming back! Love the menu options & the east coast vibes here through the food options, very accurate to the back home sandwiches on the east coast that I miss dearly. Partner & I enjoyed our sandwiches, as they come loaded with all the toppings mentioned on the menu as well as some super good fries! Hostess & waiters were polite & friendly and the restaurant in general is kept quite clean! Their cheesecake is pricey for just a slice (9.99) as well as their sandwiches being nearly $20 each, outside of the BLT and a few others (some range for as cheap as $12-15) but despite the high pricing on some items, enjoyed the environment a lot! Parking is metered if you're not trying to walk super far, since it's located right in the heart of downtown, might as well just do metered parking. Plenty of seating options here though so more than likely won't be waiting!"
"You know it's good when you stop in for lunch one day and then come back the next for breakfast.... which is exactly what we did! For lunch, I had the turkey melt sandwich, grilled, on sourdough bread with chips for my side. It was yummy and larger than expected. For breakfast the next day, I had the signature breakfast sandwich with bacon on an everything bagel with fruit for my side. Super yummy and you'll probably see me ordering it again! Exactly what I needed before an afternoon on the trails. Both days, I ordered an iced coffee with oat milk and vanilla syrup - strong and delicious!! The banana nut muffin that I ordered to go for an afternoon snack was moist and very banana-y! The nuts on top added the perfect crunch. Both days were on the busier side but the staff was kind and courteous! They did their best with making sure people understood the menu and getting food to customers in a timely manner. My only compliant is that there isn't a Joanie's Deli back home in Texas!!"
"Amazing sammies. And lord I have tried most there.Curtis Park Deli is dangerous...I mean it is a block away from me and the Sandwiches are addictive. It starts with that amazing bread.... so fresh and pairs with the meats perfectly.Than the combination of items on the sandwich is so creative and flavorful it will addict you too.Small parking lot in front just in case."

Snarfs is a local favorite but I have had mixed experiences. My job often orders from there but it seems I always get the wrong sandwich or the sandwich doesn't match the description. The bread is good and the ingredients seem good but as with most Colorado food lacks seasoning. Ive only been in the store once and it easily not a place I would hang out at but ample for to go orders. I am willing to try one more time mostly because I like the bread.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches in the Denver area! They have a huge selection of freshly made sandwiches that you can enjoy to-go, in their clean dining room or on their large, shaded patio. They have fresh, local sodas, drinks, and very friendly service. I loved their gluten free bread! Enjoyed both the chicken Caesar sandwich and the ratatouille sandwich. So delish!

This deli is don't miss if you like East Coast deli food. Fanatic menu with all kinds of Jewish favorites from chopped liver to matzo ball soup. Wonderfull tasting corned beef and pastrami. I do wish there were equal amounts of both meats.in the combo sandwich. Great tasting rye bread. The large is almost impossible to eat for lunch. Great tasting pickle spears are included with your meal. I think they should drop the cole slaw in a plastic container when you eat it.

Spring has sprung & Curtis Park will be my go to grab and go sandwich all summer long. Got the caprese and added turkey and this has got to be one of my favorite delis in Denver. Cute outdoor patio seating simple menu with kick ass options. Friendly staff and awesome sandos if you haven't gone go! This place is legit.

$22 for the full Severino Grande sandwich. All premium meats, cheese and crisp bread. It's true to the saying you get what you pay for. Very happy and still working on the other half. Don't hesitate to spurge on yourself. Great customer service they follow up if everthing is good.

They treat you like family at this place! Can't say enough great things about the service, food quality, and price. Smaller dining area that works perfectly to create that homey feel reminiscent of your favorite local cafe. Where else can you get latkes like this year round??? Nowhere!

"Great place for breakfast and lunch. Home baked good and fresh ingredients. Pumpkin Spice Latte way better than the other guys"
"Everything was outstanding, from the service, food and seating outside. The spicy blackberry margarita is a must!"
"Came here to grad a quick to go sandwich based off of really great reviews from my coworkers. I ordered their cheese steak that had chorizo instead of the traditional sliced beef. Oh my gosh this was one of the best sandwiches I have had. The bead alone blew me away as it was fresh and held up great for the sandwich. The warm meat, cheese, peppers, and onions created perfect harmony in the sandwich and I finished it feeling super happy. The employees were very friendly which only made my sandwich taste even better. This is a great deli to grab a sandwich from, give it a try ASAP!"
"3 of us stopped by here and got sandwiches and they were awesome. They are pricey, however a huge step up from a regular sandwich place. They have a good selection of take out meals that looked really good that are behind the deli counter. I was glad to see it was busy when we were there. The last couple of times we were there it wasn't busy at all. Service was great. The Denver chips are so yummy too. We will definitively go back."
"Well, my sandwich was delicious with the perfect amount of fillings and toppings. The bread was toasty and yummy. And the salad was generous with lots of good things in it, fresh greens, and tasty dressing. I'll definitely be eating here again."
"The food is absolutely amazing! Fresh ingredients and Freshly made food! This spot is just off Arapahoe and has become my new favorite spot! The service is super quick and very friendly! I look forward to the next visit! It reminds me of a really good whole in wall you would see in New York City."
"I come here often since I work close. The service is always friendly, the coffee is always good, and I like the huge variety of coffee/tea/espresso drink options! The americano always hits the spot, but today I tried the blackberry sage black tea latte with almond milk - so delicious! Great with an extra tea bag too as it amps up the flavor. Sometimes it can be a little slow, but I like that it's a unique spot and serves food (though I have yet to try it - they have a lot of vegetarian options!)."
"We got into town late and didn't know what to eat. The guys at the local dispensary directed me here when I said I wanted salad. I was a little skeptical but the salad with rotisserie chicken was really good, and the girls working were super sweet and friendly."
"I cannot speak for any other sandwich other than the old Italian because it's all I've ever gotten and it's never let me down! Sooooo delicious! It's a powerful combination of all you'd ever want in a sandwich! The smell of this place as soon as you walk in SCREAMS Italian. The service is great, the employees have always been super friendly, the young man working the register was so polite, it was refreshing. I'll definitely be coming back since I work down the road!"
"Great sandwiches, great staffTip: if you dance to the music and say it's your birthday, they'll turn the music up a notch."
"It's the kind of sandwhich shop Id expect in a corporate office area. In and out, quick food, nothing fancy. And almost $9 after tax for a sandwhich and a shot glass of fruit. If I were a food busker, I'd pay $5. But I'm just a yelper. Maybe if the chicken was more tender I would be a little more impressed. But hey, they've got a soda water spout on the soda machine so that's a plus."
"I had started a review for this place probably a month or two ago. I was so impressed with our first visit, I gave them 5 stars. But figured I would go again to ensure it was consistent. Well I have been there probably 5 or 6 times and am still loving it. It is now my favorite sandwich place .We happened to stop by here just to try it out. My favorite is their #5 awesome Super Italian hoagie. Love that the meats are sliced for your sandwich as part of your order. Also love the high stacked sandwich with the meats, cheese and lettuce, tomato, onions and Mike's sauce (oil and vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper). Soo soo good! The bread is not thick and heavy but just right. Everything about it is just so heavenly!"
"Great local deli, with endless options at affordable prices! Even if you are not in 116 Inverness office building, it is worth the stop! Definitely add this to you place of go-to lunch spots."
"The folks at Solomon's Grocery and European Deli want you to come up and see them sometime. No, really! And you don't have to peel grapes for them either. The Bukharian (no, not Bulgarian - you're thinking of East Europe Market off of Colorado Boulevard) owners of this spacious shop (in a Havana strip mall prominently anchored by a bingo hall) are here to confound and astound you with their merchandise. Dark rye breads, rich with flavor! Stunning Russian sodas (I like the medicinal-tasting cola called Baikal and the tarragon-flavored Tarkhun, although the clerk I spoke to told me she's not a big fan of that last one). Elegant salads (maybe a potatoey Olivie or beety Vinegret is calling out to you?) You will find savories and sweets from the whole swath of Eastern Europe, and further afield, beckoning you. And then, just when you thought it couldn't get any better, you can pop a few doors down and treat yourself to an Ethiopian nosh at Nile (see my previous review)! Really, how can you say "no"?"
"Great sandwiches at reasonable prices. My favorite sub shop as all the ingredients are fresh."
"The service is awesome! I feel right at home because it has such a comforting feeling. They have delicious cookies and brownies, the best sandwiches (made with the utmost care), slurp worthy soups, and best yet a wide selection. I'll be coming here more often :)"
"Azul! It's time for another review, and what better place than Rocky Mountain Meat Market at Colorado/Iliff? Yea, they've got your lamb shanks, your prime beef. and (of course!) your spicy Merguez sausage, but there is so much more to peep at in this cozy little nook. The owner of RMMM is in fact Amazigh from Algeria (you'll notice that the Halal sign on the wall has English, Arabic, *and* Tifinagh letters when you enter), and his intent is to bring a bounty of North African delectables to his ever-eager customer base. Are you needing some hot-as-heck Harissa sauce from Tunisia to add some chile to your cooking? You can find it here - and how! Maybe instead you're in search of a nice big bag of couscous straight from Casablanca? Again, you've come to the right place. And how about a selection of soda from the proprietor's home country? One of my favorites in this regard is Selecto. "Oh, how does that one taste?", I hear you inquire. Well, it's kind of, um, apple-y, date-y, coke-y... hmm, maybe I should stop trying to describe it - let's just say you'll love it and leave it at that. But then, there are also bottles of orange-flower water, chocolate custard mixes, cans of succulently-sauced tuna, boxes of mint tea - basically, all your Maghrebi food needs will be filled in a single visit here.As it turns out however, it's truly your lucky day, because RMMM in fact features products from all across the Near and Middle East to enthuse over. How about a jumbo-sized can of ghee from Jordan (adorned with a very aerodynamic gazelle)? Or some fava beans with a plethora of seasoning choices, whether your tastes lean more towards Lebanon, Egypt, or al-Khalij (the Gulf region)? Ooh, those chocolate/hazelnut cookies from Turkey look good don't they? And I can attest that they're even more flavorful than you can imagine. And naturally, the shelves are filled with jars upon jars of pickled and preserved vegetables of all kinds too - from cucumbers, to olives, to grape leaves, to.... Oops! I really should watch where I'm going a bit more, shouldn't I? I very nearly backed into this substantial selection of enormous bags of rice from India and Pakistan. But my favorite part of the shop is probably the cooler, where I can buy Kalb el Louz (Algerian semolina/almond cake) or Mille-Feuille (layered cream pastry)."
"Fans of the now-closed Samarkand Restaurant will be thrilled to hear that the owner has now taken over the former New York Deli (Star) space at Parker/Atchison and converted it into a haven of Uzbek, Tajik, Russian, etc. delectables - Tandoori Deli.As you may have guessed, the deli counter is still the main draw near the shop's entrance - and, if you're anything like me, you'll have a difficult time choosing between all the options on offer. One of my favorite ready-to-eat items to consider here is the Uzbek specialty Khanum - large pasta sheets skillfully wrapped around a juicy meat filling. Speaking of proteins, I have to also give praise to Tandoori Deli's selection of Shashlik (grilled kebabs), available with beef, chicken or lamb, and served with a side of either fluffy fried potatoes or mixed roasted veggies to give you the most bang for your buck (or do I mean "Som"?). Anyway, those who've missed the Tajik skewers from David's Kebab House on Leetsdale can find a very worthy replacement here. Another regional specialty, the potato-and-cheese-stuffed Kartofdzhyn (Ossetian pie) is also easily available - and quite substantial too if I may say so [URP]. My point here is that TD provides a picturesque culinary tour of much of the former Soviet Union. You know, after all that savory food, I think I need something sweet to really finish things off. Well, what do I see before me, but one of my favorite desserts - in one of my favorite versions - the honey cake called Medovik. Candidly, I can imagine myself eating several slices in succession before I even know what just happened. Keeping this in mind, perhaps it's safer for me to stick with a couple of Syrniki (farmer's cheese pancakes) or even a single éclair, so I don't get too carried away. I'm certain my sweet tooth will be satiated either way. I of course need to wash all this down with a beverage or two - hmm, will I pick some creamy Kefir today? Or maybe a can of the classic rye-based libation, Kvass, or indeed some Mors (Russian berry punch)? There are just so many choices to consider. And I haven't even gotten into TD's shelves and coolers full of of meats, cheeses, candies, pickles, and so forth. Yes, this little shop in Aurora is full of surprises - so go forth and be suitably dazzled, won't you?"
"Love the food. Would rate the food five star.Prices are a little high but understanding. Service is as quick as possible with as many customers as they usually have. So don't expect quick and immediate delivery of your food. You can buy food at the counter or order at the restaurant to sit and eat. Nothing fancy typical deli atmosphere. This place is usually crowded and maybe loud. Best not to go on weekends unless you like waiting and crowds."
