It's a small deli, but pretty good sandwiches and their price is very cheap. They haven't changed their prices in the last 3 years. They have a good selection of chips and is always full. They also have a variety of drinks, ranging from v8 to monster energy drinks. Great place to eat if you're looking for something good, quick and cheap"

Mark T. "Fans of the now-closed Samarkand Restaurant will be thrilled to hear that the owner has now taken over the former New York Deli (Star) space at Parker/Atchison and converted it into a haven of Uzbek, Tajik, Russian, etc. delectables - Tandoori Deli.As you may have guessed, the deli counter is still the main draw near the shop's entrance - and, if you're anything like me, you'll have a difficult time choosing between all the options on offer. One of my favorite ready-to-eat items to consider here is the Uzbek specialty Khanum - large pasta sheets skillfully wrapped around a juicy meat filling. Speaking of proteins, I have to also give praise to Tandoori Deli's selection of Shashlik (grilled kebabs), available with beef, chicken or lamb, and served with a side of either fluffy fried potatoes or mixed roasted veggies to give you the most bang for your buck (or do I mean "Som"?). Anyway, those who've missed the Tajik skewers from David's Kebab House on Leetsdale can find a very worthy replacement here. Another regional specialty, the potato-and-cheese-stuffed Kartofdzhyn (Ossetian pie) is also easily available - and quite substantial too if I may say so [URP]. My point here is that TD provides a picturesque culinary tour of much of the former Soviet Union. You know, after all that savory food, I think I need something sweet to really finish things off. Well, what do I see before me, but one of my favorite desserts - in one of my favorite versions - the honey cake called Medovik. Candidly, I can imagine myself eating several slices in succession before I even know what just happened. Keeping this in mind, perhaps it's safer for me to stick with a couple of Syrniki (farmer's cheese pancakes) or even a single éclair, so I don't get too carried away. I'm certain my sweet tooth will be satiated either way. I of course need to wash all this down with a beverage or two - hmm, will I pick some creamy Kefir today? Or maybe a can of the classic rye-based libation, Kvass, or indeed some Mors (Russian berry punch)? There are just so many choices to consider. And I haven't even gotten into TD's shelves and coolers full of of meats, cheeses, candies, pickles, and so forth. Yes, this little shop in Aurora is full of surprises - so go forth and be suitably dazzled, won't you?"

The americano always hits the spot, but today I tried the blackberry sage black tea latte with almond milk - so delicious! Great with an extra tea bag too as it amps up the flavor. There's also a wine selection and goods from local favourites like Bjorn's Honey, Corvus Coffee and Chocolove. Because it's opening day, the first 50 people received a free bag. Eric T. "The proverbial 'Hole in the wall' describes this small deli on the main downtown street of Frisco. Don't expect a comfortable chair or table. If you decide to eat there, you'll be perched on a backless stool near the front window and provided with plastic forks and paper-lined baskets. We stopped in Frisco on the way to Denver airport from Breckenridge and wanted a quick bite. We were pleasantly surprised when this place offered such a surprisingly good and quick bite. Luckily, I am one of the few people who still carries cash. The owner needs to move into the 2000's and invest in Apple Pay or just a debit/credit card scanner. If his problem is the credit card company charge, raise the prices 3%. It appears from other reviews, that offering credit cards will cause customers to offer ratings more about the food than the cash issue. My two cents...(in cash). The Reuben and chili dog were both top-notch. The buns are either extremely fresh or they steam them. Either way, that, along with lean meat, sets Deli Belly's apart from most. Grab a reasonably priced burrito, dog, or sandwich and walk this cute mountain town. You won't be disappointed."

Mr H. is pretty spot on with his grilling, but we admit he can't take all the credit for these being the best ribs we'd ever had.Since then I've shopped for fresh meat when the budget allows. Their Popper Dip has made us (and other friends and family members who we served it to) addicts! And it's the only place I can find acceptable horseradish--no added sugar and unnecessary ingredients. Mom and I have enjoyed visiting for coffee and dessert many times. The bakery is fantastic. From peach pie, to cookies, to cakes, we've been very happy. Their pre-made pasta meals are amazing. Well, actually, we had a problem with the lasagna once. But it was resolved with a lot of communication with their chef, and a gift card sent to me. The store is small but easy to shop most times. In the photo was their special which was the Italian but with meatballs and marinara which was amazing.Ok but what about their off menu offerings? Boy get the Mother clucker now! Rotisserie chicken, veggies and the secret ingredient...honey! It adds a nice little sweetness which cuts into the saltiness to the toppings. You won't be disappointed! In addition to their signature sandwiches, they have a few wraps, salads, nachos, wings and tacos on the menu. This place could easily be named No Frills Sandwiches or Very Good Sandwiches and no one would bat an eye. I was in the area for work multiple times last week, and I'm so glad I checked Yelp to hook me up with tasty grub. I love me some sandwiches and ended up coming here twice in just a few day span. If that's not telling, I don't know what is!CORN BEEF MELT ($14) // Corned beef, white cheddar, pickles, coleslaw, thousand island dressing, on marble rye. Very flavorful. Generous with the dressing, and possibly too liberal for my liking. I needed 5 or 6 napkins while eating it, haha. Balanced sandwich, good zip and tang to counter the salty meat.FARM FRESH CHICKEN CLUB ($15) // Grilled chicken breast on a fresh baked bun stacked w/ bacon, arugula, pickled red onions, fresh guacamole, cheddar cheese, ranch & everything bagel seasoning. WOAH. The only thing missing was the kitchen sink. Although a ton of ingredients, they all worked well together, and you could easily taste each one individually. My only knock was the chicken, that was a bit on the dry side. Other than that, a vibrant sandwich with a delicious freshly baked bun. There's a lot going right here. Online ordering is a synch. They have a walk up window, but if you're inside the brewery you can order at the bar. Perfect for grab and go, or pounding a few beers with a big group. Look forward to trying more of their unique and carefully crafted sandwiches!"

Robert F. "Denver has a bunch of delis, would be delis, pretend delis, sandwich shops that think they're delis, sort of Jewish delis, and the New York Deli News which is the closest thing we've got to a classic, New York City-style Jewish deli. It has been my favorite since they opened in 1989 and it is my favorite now. They hit all of my hot buttons: matzo ball soup, deli salads, chopped liver, a huge list of fantastic, overstuffed sandwiches (corned beef, pastrami, corned beef & pastrami!), blintzes, all day breakfast, and weekend brunch. The space was getting a little tired on my last visit several months ago, but I was surprised this visit with a fancy new sign, a new color scheme, new menus, a tidied up interior, and new systems, including very nice hand-held terminals for the servers. Everything ran very efficiently.I had my frequent order of blintzes on this visit. They were tasty, hot, and fresh. My friend had a very generously-sized cheese omelet which he enjoyed. I love the matzo ball (chicken) soup here. The matzo balls are always tender and the soup richly flavored. The sandwiches are great. You can't go wrong with any of them. This place hits the spot whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The New York Deli News is one of Denver's treasures. This is the place for the authentic New York deli experience. Matt C. "Far and away, one of the most underrated restaurants in Denver. I wish I lived on this side of town, because Tessa Delicatessen could easily be a 2-3 times a week neighborhood place. The menu is straightforward with every item made with intention and detail. You won't go home hungry. At the helm, you have a husband and wife duo who know what they're doing. The space is larger than you'd expect for a "delicatessen" and its size is deceiving from its Colfax entrance. It's difficult for a restaurant do execute breakfast, lunch and dinner and somehow all three are excellent. I have enjoyed their dinner options like the pastas over the years, but if you can have one meal here make it a sandwich. Hardest part will be narrowing down which one you're going to order. You'll find cold and hot options, and sometimes a special or two.Oh, and while I'm here don't forget about their burger. Denver makes a lot of burgers and Tessa's rendition should be in that conversation. On my last visit, I went with a newer sandwich from their menu, the Tessa Chopped Cheese. Now Denver doesn't know too much about this sandwich and I've been let down a handful of times ordering it elsewhere. NOT HERE.For starters, the bread they use is a slam dunk. Seeded hoagie roll is crisp on the outside and super soft in the middle. My only qualm was how big and bready the sandwich was. Nonetheless, I could eat the bread by itself. The inside melty and the perfect consistency. Is it exactly like a New York bodega? No, and that's fine. It's just as delicious, just as satiating, and just as satisfying. Melty, creamy, salty unctuousness. Easily the best chopped cheese I've had in Denver!Supporting local businesses has always been important. But when you find a husband and wife owned spot doing it the right way without taking shortcuts you want to shout it from the rooftops. More foodies need to know about the amazing things happening here. I can't believe it took me so long to write them a 5-star review!"

Yea, they've got your lamb shanks, your prime beef. and (of course!) your spicy Merguez sausage, but there is so much more to peep at in this cozy little nook. The owner of RMMM is in fact Amazigh from Algeria (you'll notice that the Halal sign on the wall has English, Arabic, *and* Tifinagh letters when you enter), and his intent is to bring a bounty of North African delectables to his ever-eager customer base. Are you needing some hot-as-heck Harissa sauce from Tunisia to add some chile to your cooking? You can find it here - and how! Maybe instead you're in search of a nice big bag of couscous straight from Casablanca? Again, you've come to the right place. And how about a selection of soda from the proprietor's home country? One of my favorites in this regard is Selecto. "Oh, how does that one taste?", I hear you inquire. Well, it's kind of, um, apple-y, date-y, coke-y... hmm, maybe I should stop trying to describe it - let's just say you'll love it and leave it at that. But then, there are also bottles of orange-flower water, chocolate custard mixes, cans of succulently-sauced tuna, boxes of mint tea - basically, all your Maghrebi food needs will be filled in a single visit here.As it turns out however, it's truly your lucky day, because RMMM in fact features products from all across the Near and Middle East to enthuse over. How about a jumbo-sized can of ghee from Jordan (adorned with a very aerodynamic gazelle)? Or some fava beans with a plethora of seasoning choices, whether your tastes lean more towards Lebanon, Egypt, or al-Khalij (the Gulf region)? Ooh, those chocolate/hazelnut cookies from Turkey look good don't they? And I can attest that they're even more flavorful than you can imagine. And naturally, the shelves are filled with jars upon jars of pickled and preserved vegetables of all kinds too - from cucumbers, to olives, to grape leaves, to.... Oops! I really should watch where I'm going a bit more, shouldn't I? I very nearly backed into this substantial selection of enormous bags of rice from India and Pakistan. But my favorite part of the shop is probably the cooler, where I can buy Kalb el Louz (Algerian semolina/almond cake) or Mille-Feuille (layered cream pastry)."
