I love the pictures I get of him during the day and the activities they do are both creative and a great learning opportunity. "25 Jul 22 - I have been going to the deep pool at the YMCA now since I joined about two weeks ago. I first did a water aerobics class that Chris teaches but decided because her classes were a little too hard for me so I decided to swim laps to get in shape. I was a member several years ago when I first moved here but then when Lifetime opened I joined and it was great the first year because it had a great manager. Lifetime kept getting worse even though I complained about how dirty their ladies room was by the indoor pool and their prices kept going up every year. The YMCA is much cleaner now than it was years ago and everyone is a lot friendlier than they were at Lifetime. They have a great friendly Director also that goes around checking the facilities and knows most of the members. I love the deep pool which is also very clean!"

"This review is long overdue. Our daughter has been at MSK since she was 5 months young. From day one, all of the teachers and staff made us feel comfortable leaving our one and only little one with them. We are eternally grateful to Mariah, Amanda, Maureen, Juliana, Makayla, and Kim for teaching her an assortment of lessons--from colors, numbers, to music!--and we honestly could not have had a better experience. We are moving or else would have her stay for much longer. Wishing this daycare all the best for years to come!"

That being said, this location is pretty small and dated. No pool, hardly any equipment and the basketball court is a joke. Who ever heard of a carpeted basketball court. Seriously?? This location needs a serious overhaul!!"

"I love this school. My son has been here for about two years now. I love the teachers, I love the staff, and I love that I have a place I feel comfortable leaving him when I am at work.They have separate playgrounds for each age group, and each playground is well maintained. Some places have one playground for all children. They have a soccer field and swimming pool as well. The teachers and director are easy to talk to if you need to, and will work with you when needed.Great place."

"My son goes to Park Meadows KinderCare part-time and we've had a great experience here. The director Karena is very nice, as is the rest of the staff. They are all so friendly every time I drop off or pick up. Also, they have been very flexible with us/not at all hesitant to answer any questions, so I appreciate the great customer service. As far as the curriculum is concerned, my son's preschool class is actively learning and practicing counting and colors, and his teacher is really interactive with the class. He comes home from the center saying he had fun every time. I would definitely recommend this center if you are looking for a daycare."

"We have had such a positive experience sending our daughter to Primrose. She started at 15 months and is now 22 months, during this time she moved up a class. All of her teachers have been so good with her! They are energetic and attentive! And we really trust leaving our toddler here. When we first began, she did cry during dropoffs but after two weeks, she adapted and loves going to 'school'. Primrose has a great curriculum and the children engage in many activities including: drawing, painting, water activities, reading, puppets, rhymes, etc. When the weather is nice, the kids go outside to play the playgrounds.Although it's a bit of a drive for us, we love Primrose."

"We have had a great experience at Kiddie Academy Lone Tree. This is the 3rd childcare center we have used since my oldest was a baby and by far the best. The owner, Prinal, is very present and cares a lot about the kiddos. They also care a great deal about finding good teachers and the curriculum is wonderful. My oldest learned SO much within a few weeks of starting in the 3-year-old room. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Aiza. My kids both love her and she handles every question or concern promptly and with care. Also special shout-out to Ms. Leeba, Ms. Traci and Ms. Dawna. My kids have had a great experience with all of these teachers and KA is very fortunate to have them.The cameras are very nice to have peace of mind to be able to check in on your kiddo throughout the day. Their app system to record updates and take pictures is very user-friendly and the teachers do a really good job of updating it so I have always felt well-informed about how my kids' are doing. They also go above and beyond by having family activities throughout the year. It's a nice opportunity to spend more time at the center to get to know the teachers and other families more."

"PARENTS BEWARE:Feeding our baby breast milk from a stranger's mother was the final straw. But this was preceded by an instance of walking in on one of the caretakers shaking a crib a little too vigorously for comfort (all the while saying "GO TO SLEEP, GO TO SLEEP...."), and two months later my wife saw an open notebook where the teachers communicate during shift change where she read "fu*#! This MotherF@#$ing place see you all in hell tomorrow..." Given that the well-being of our children are in these people's care while we're off working each day, I'd expect that kind of behavior would result in an immediate firing. But despite our reports, not an apparent slap on the wrist resulted.Our infant was diagnosed with repeat cases of RSV (3 times) and ear infections several times. We feel this has a lot to to with a somewhat apathetic enforcement of their rules for sending sick children home and a generally unsanitary environment overall.This was all a shame, because there were some teachers that we really liked, but we just couldn't wait for another incident.The new daycare that we found was a bit more of a drive, but it's like night and day: When you walk into Young Scholars Academy, it's immediately like day/night from Little Sprouts. Everything is clean, it smells nice, each classroom has a structured curriculum posted with lessons in history, science, etc.. And mostly you can just tell that the vast amount of money you pay goes back onto making the daycare a much better place.At Little Sprouts, it's become very apparent that the money you pay goes into the bank account of a single person who exists behind the curtains. They don't even fill their hand sanitizers, bathrooms have been found to be missing either soap or paper towels (my personal pet peeve).2 stars out of sympathy mostly, for the few good teachers that have to endure working at this place."

"My wife and I have been sending our daughter to Smart Bear Learning for just shy of one year now, so I think at this point we can leave a fair and honest review.My wife and I both work full time, so consequently our daughter had to start attending when she was first eligible, almost right at the 3 month mark. We were both uneasy about this early transition, my wife especially. She was extremely emotional the first day, which of course is normal.We both agree that the next day and each day following was much easier to drop her off, and this was directly related to the staff at Smart Bear. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Amanda really did bond quickly with our daughter and it was apparent how much they do care for all of the kids in their classroom. The two of them are absolutely top notch and we are so thankful to have found them.Our daughter has since graduated from the infant room, and again we were uneasy with the early transition. And again, Ms. Sarah jumped in to make sure we didn't feel that way for more than a day. She is constantly checking on our daughter in her new classroom, commonly holding her when we arrive to pick her up and giving us updates. As a result, our daughter has adjusted well and quickly to the change. She has started walking more, using sign language more, and talking more; since she gets to hang out and compete with the older kids.Everything thus far with Smart Bear has really been an excellent experience. This is coming from someone who can be fairly critical of businesses, as you can confirm by digging through some of my other Yelp reviews. If our impression ever changes then this review will be updated, so, if you are reading this now then you can trust it for what it is."

"I have nothing but great things to say about this La Petite. My daughter who is 4 was in the pre-k class here. Unfortunately we had to move so she was only there for 4 months but you wouldn't believe how much she learned in the short amount of time. Ms.Kris and Ms.Melissa are very good at sending out recap emails of the children's progress each day so you know what to follow up on when your child is home from school. All of the staff is friendly and they made our transition here extremely easy. I would recommend this pre-k program to every and anybody! It's well worth it for your child to be ready for kindergarten!"

"This is the local YMCA that I like to visit. I primarily use the YMCA for swimming and strength training, for triathlons. The pool at this YMCA is never crowded, I have always been able to find a lane. Lap swimming doesn't begin to 12 PM and goes until closing. The staff is incredible, everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful to me during every visit. The crowds within the gym are minimal, so if you don't like to work out around a lot of people, this is a great YMCA location."

Discovery Kids Child Care - Rockrimmon

"I 100% disagree with Franny S.'s recent review, and prospective parents should not depend on her review for an accurate assessment of Discovery Kids. My school-aged daughter has been going there since April of 2018 for before-school and after-school care. First of all, the place does NOT smell horrible, and I have never seen anything even remotely resembling animal droppings anywhere. In fact, it often smells awesome in the mornings when you walk in due to the yummy breakfast foods they're cooking. It may not be the newest building around, but the staff always keeps every room I've seen very clean and organized. I've never seen "extremely sick" kids there, though of course any daycare in this city will have kids who are fighting colds etc. ALL of the staff members who work here care greatly about the kids, and I'm not sure what Franny is expecting in terms of them not being "qualified". I have NO reservations whatsoever about the care my daughter is receiving at Discovery Kids."

They teach valuable lessons daily and I feel in touch with whats going on in the classroom and the center because they're great about giving parents updates through their app. I also like the added convenience of being able to pay my child's tuition through their app. And the price is comparable to what other facilities are charging in the area.I did register my child during the COVID pandemic and I feel very comfortable with leaving my child here all day. The facility is nice and spacious. Everything is kept very clean and the staff is always wearing masks. I highly recommend this facility. My child is happy and is always excited to return the next day. And as a parent, it's a great feeling to know that your child is being well cared for by great people."
