"Finally had a chance to check out Sammie D's Fine Smoked Meats in Elizabeth. While I wanted to order one of everything, I opted to get a two meat sampler and add a few items.I got the brisket, and smoked chicken - which came with toast and pickles. I also added some amazing burnt ends, and for sides - I got their house made french fries that were beautifully seasoned, and their barbecue beans. Everything was fantastic! I got a chance to try all three of their sauces which I highly recommend trying as well...with the original being my favorite. All of the meats were fantastically smoked, the staff was really attentive, and I can't wait to go back."

"The chicken is still probably my favorite of the Korean fried chicken chains we have in Colorado. I really like the flavors of everything. My favorite is the cheeseling but it isn't everyone cup of tea. The honey garlic would be a safe alternative if you like a sweet chicken but want something without the cheese dust. The spicy original wings are also pretty good. It' has a nice kick of spice. The chicken just has a really nice crunch and it doesn't feel dry. The sides like fries and o ion rings are delicious. Can't go wrong with any of them. The tteokboki is really good. I've had it in the regular and rose. The kimchi fried rice is just okay and I personally would skip it. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was slow but business did pick up. There was one server in charge of all the tables so service can be kind of slow. One table did walk out after waiting for a couple of minutes so be ready for that. If you're in a rush, best to place a to-go order."
"Lucky to score Lucky Bird! This food truck came to my 'hood recently and it was such a nice change of pace. We ordered a Spicy Bird sandwich, chicken tenders and loaded sweet potato fries. It was easy to order and pay online via their website and our food was fresh out of the fryer upon arrival. The Spicy Bird sandwich was the standout. It was a big piece of fried chicken topped with gochujang butter and house pickles on a potato bun. I was impressed by the size of the chicken tenders but thought the breading was lacking flavor, so the honey mustard helped. For that reason, I'd opt for the asian or buffalo blue tenders next time which have sauce. The loaded waffle fries included cotija cheese, buttermilk dressing, bacon and scallions. I liked them! The people working there were super friendly. I'd definitely try it again the next time the truck rolls through!"
"Service was amazing, order was perfect and food was fantastic.1st time ever to a raising canes and I wish I could make chicken like this at home. So crispy and fresh! Didn't even waste much tummy space on the fries - coleslaw was crunchy and okay but the chicken is 10/10. The Texas toast was buttery and perfect - like a picture. The absolute best FRESH SQUEEZED lemonade. Plus they have the great ice that everyone loves. Thanks to Jason for helping my 1st experience make me a lifetime fan!"
"We looked this place up and had no idea it was so close to our house as we'd never seen it before! Put the adress in on maps and headed over. Since they're a newer place, they don't have a huge sign out front yet, but as long as you can make it to JAKS, you'll find it right inside! It's counter style seservice, so you order it in the "hallway" then can go sit at Jaks, have a beer and chat while you wait. It was explained that everything is made to order so it's about a 10 to 12 min wait unless you order ahead. I am NOT MAD at that wait time, let me tell you! The food we got was 1000% better than what we ever expected to get! It was a Tuesday, and lucky for us, tacos are on special on Tuesdays! It's 3 tacos for 10.99 or 3 mix n' match tacos for 11.99. Very fair prices for a taco plate in my opinion. I expected just 3 regular lil tacos, but they used fajita tortillas so these were very generous portions. I got the chicken bacon ranch tacos, that come with diced bacon, home made ranch and Swiss cheese, and they were AWESOME!!! You can tell right away the chicken is fresh, and hand battered, very well seasoned. Could easily stand alone and be the star of the show. But in the tacos??? They are my absolute new favorite thing in this town. Oh and how can I forget about the mozzarella sticks?!! They are served 6 to an order, dusted in a garlic parm type seasoning. Served with the homemade ranch and marinara sauce. They were SO good! The ranch, as we know, is amazing. But that marinara?! It's fresh and light and holy garlic batman! I could eat that marinara on anything, and I'm usually not a fan.Overall, this spot is in my weekly rotation for sure!"
"Great band, good beer, clean, hometown bar - everyone looks at you when you walk in. Comfortable and friendly customers. We'll come back when Justus does!"
"Very fresh yummy boba spot! My son placed an order for pick up for us. I opted for my usual green tea passion fruit with boba half sweet. Delish! I didn't know they had spicy chicken until we went in, totally need to try that next time. Great service! Highly recommend."
"One of best pizzas I've had. Service was super kind which made the experience special, after a long day of skiing. had the liberty pizza which was top notch. Kids had chicken Parmesan (nicely crisped) which they loved. Happy tummies."
"Best tacos I've ever eaten. Can't rave about them enough!!! Amazing food and service. So much flavor and prices are reasonable"
"I was in the neighborhood around lunch time and remembered Dough Counter had slice specials from 11a-3pm. You walk,m in and order at the counter then they bring it out to you. Two patios, one facing Colorado then another on the Panera side. I got the simple salad which was enough for two meals and a Sicilian slice, again, enough for two meals. Everything was absolutely spot on and I love supporting local business!Props to whomever is in charge of the playlist, the music is fire!"
"Quick friendly service. About 4 min between orders no and getting our food (2 combo plates - 6 and 3 piece) chicken cooked perfectly, Cole slaw is yummy, not too runny great amount of sauce. Secret sauce is delicious Sweet tea is just like they make in the south - I missed mine with sweet and regular! Ambiance is fun, disco balls (love) clean. Bathrooms were also clean and self service. Punters (drinks etc) were kept tidy"

This was my first Korean BBQ. We enjoyed a spicy dish and a non-spicy dish. The wings were tasty. They were served with pickled radishes. The wings come with bone or without bone. K-Pop on the TV and music. The vibe is fun. They offer asian beer and soda. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Parking is in the lot. Handicap accessible. It was very cold inside as they have a removable garage door for warmer weather. Reasonable prices.

The Lucky Bird inside of Edgewater Public Market completely hit the spot for both my bestie and I. We met yesterday to reconnect in person after only seeing one another virtually since March 2020. Edgewater Public Market is a great place to accommodate us - lots of socially distanced seating, open spaces and friendly folks like at the Lucky Bird to cater to just about any taste you may have. Today? The Farmhouse Salad with roasted chicken did it for me. I love the fatty nature of this salad - creamy ranch dressing, bacon and yummy blue cheese! And you can't go wrong pairing that with spinach, tomato and sunflower seeds. Simple and yet so good. My bestie decided on the Buffalo Blue wrap and some sweet potato waffle fries. No complaints from her. I may try hers next time - roasted chicken, cabbage, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, buttermilk dressing and Buffalo sauce. Yum! Ordering was a breeze and we waited CIR maybe 5 minutes. Staff was awesome and friendly as well. Total win.

Usually I don't have any issues with Canes. The crew is always super friendly and speedy with service. Today I just don't know what was up with those fries. There was a lack there of. I was slightly disappointed with them.

YUM!!! I've been following this place on Facebook for a long time and finally got to stop in and taste their famous deliciousness!!! Cluckin Chicken Food was a food truck for a long time and now they are located inside JAKS Brewery. Their Facebook page is updated all the time so I highly recommend you follow them there for their latest specials and updates (and their photos of their amazing food to get you in the mood)! They are straight inside the brewery as you enter- you order and pay at the counter and then they give you a beeper thing, and then you can hang out in your car or inside the brewery or outside on the awesome patio. There is great seating available in the brewery and they have trivia nights too. All the food is packed to go so you can eat it inside or outside or take it home! They make the food fresh and hot so there is a little wait- it's very worth it. And as you wait you can get a drink at JAKS- they have tons of beers, wines, and they make their own root beer and cream soda too (I really enjoyed the root beer!) I got their new fried chicken tenders and they were so good!! I am a sucker for hand breaded fried chicken and these are awesome. They are seasoned just enough and were hot and juicy. Their chicken is award winning and I can see why! There is a variety of sauces you can choose from- I got the honey mustard and loved it. I got a side of fries which are thin and crispy and seasoned just right. The owner was also kind enough to give me a sample of the Bang Bang sauce when I asked about it, because people on Facebook are OBSESSED with it- it's yummy with a kick! I also bought an extra side of their homemade potato chips- really good! They have lots of options for food. They have Taco Tuesdays which sound really popular. They have wraps, salads, smash burgers, hot dogs and flatbreads that people rave about too. The owners seem to have great senses of humor and great appreciation for their customers. They seem to be good listeners and people who are learning and growing all the time. I absolutely love finding restaurants like this to support- people who have a dream of making people happy with their awesome food. They made me happy today and I will definitely be back to support them!

Amazing vodka soda from the bartender Joshua. He said no matter which bartender makes 'em, they'll always be that good. I have to admit when we walked in, it was a bit of a culture shock, dark and divey, but lovely customers with a home-town feel, and a lot of history and fun chicken-related kitch. We stopped in briefly for happy hour, went to dinner at the Black Forest Bistro (great food and service), and came back at 9 for front row seats for The Dance Band, a 5 person, fantastic band for dancing. Awesome time and I would definitely do it again!

My husband and I got a spicy deluxe sandwich and it was so delicious the chicken was cooked well and it also had a crunch and the tea was amazing we could never find perfect tea until today it wasn't too sweet or too unsweetened it was just right. 10/10 would definitely recommend. The service was perfect my husband got the wrong tea and they were so understanding they remade another one with no problem!

"The other day my husband said: "Do you really want Dagiya again? You've had it twice this week!" And the answer was YES! Lucky for us, we live close by so it's become a family favorite. We've tried all of the varieties of fried chicken and love the white onion fried chicken the most. It is topped with thin onion slices and the best part is the white onion dipping sauce (I wish this sauce would come with all the orders). Another favorite is the Chicken Mayo Bowl - I could eat this dish for lunch every day! The chicken is so flavorful and drizzled in mayo on a bed of rice makes it even better! Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Ddukbokki in general. But I do think the Labokki that includes ramen noodles is good! The service has always been quick and friendly! If eating in the restaurant, water, paper trays and plastic silverware are available -- making it easy to grab what you need without having to ask the staff."
"Loved our lunch at Chook! The chicken here is always consistently good, and I love the mashed potatoes and sauces they have. I don't think the mashed potatoes are real potatoes however, because they didn't reheat like real potato mashed potatoes should. Also the rolls were just meh, and the green goddess salad was also just ok. Most things are great here but some of the sides don't hold up. Nicest employees ever though and super clean and nice space. Will definitely be back!"
"This place is by far the best Dollar Scoop in Colorado. The portion sizes are generous. The quality and selection are great. The value amazing!!! We got 3 combo plates each with noodles and 2 entrées and only spent $22 and they threw in a free drink for each combo.Screw Panda Express Come here and support a local business."
"Authentic Mexican food for sure! My wife and I moved to the area and tried this place first. That might mean we won't go anywhere else for Mexican food. The tortillas are spot on authentic along with the beans. Chicken was great. The green chili sauce over the burrito was a touch limey for me but still flavorful. Nice selection of beers too."
"This is a secret spot! Who would imagine that this restaurant has been around for over 70 years! The recipes and philosophy are the same too, feed good folks great food with a smile and they will return. Again and again! I have visited Colorado 4 times in less than two years and have enjoyed a family meal there every time. Expect a huge meal, dessert and a warm glow from both the servers as well as the beautiful adobe fireplace that sets the mood and amplifies the ambiance. Don't miss it, cuz if you blink you'll drive by this diamond in the rough."
"Woah, I haven't reviewed Music City Hot Chicken? Shame on me.This easily has to be some of the best hot chicken in the city. Why? It's actually hot! I'm getting sick and tired of every restaurant in town putting a hot chicken sandwich on the menu and it possessing barely any heat. Hot chicken is hot chicken. Let's keep it that way!Best of all, Music City Hot Chicken is located inside one of my favorite places, TRVE Brewing. Hot chicken, beer and metal? Sign me up. AND CARVE SLAYER INTO YOUR FOREARMS WHILE YOU'RE AT IT.Service is quick. You order at the counter and in 10 minutes you pick up your food and enjoy. Music City's forte are their hot chicken tenders. If you can't handle the heat they have lower levels of spiciness. Also I'm pretty sure they make their own sauces, and it makes all the difference in the world.Don't sleep on this humble slice of hot chicken heaven."
"Good service and HUGE chicken dishes--either the tenders or the sandwiches. Definitely make sure you come here hungry or someone to split things with."
"Slammin' Chicken makes solid chicken sandies and shrimp. Of course, they have more but to me these are the standouts. The batter on the fish is a bit to heavy and retains to much oil for me and could use improvement. Fries are sub-par. Coleslaw is delicious. The Nashville chicken is my go-to, anywhere from mild to extra hot. Topped with that delicious coleslaw. Service here is typical and what you would expect. They wait on you and provide ok service. It is nothing to note. The space is mostly in cooler colors providing a cold (color), open dining area experience. During my visits the Slammin' is clean. There is plenty of parking here."
"Absolutely love this Denver chain, especially if you're watching your waistline.I've been here a few times to get some deliciously roasted chicken with veggie-friendly sides. Each time I try something new, and am never disappointed. It's easy to eat in, or dine out. Also, the chicken here isn't the only thing that's smokin' hot. I've never been to a restaurant where everyone is so good looking? Plenty of eye candy to feast on, too."
"After living in Lima for half a year over 2 years ago, I discovered this place on yelp and had to come reminisce. The tallarin a la huancaina was exactly the way I remember it being in Peru and I could not have been happier. The other food was all amazing, but this dish will forever be my favorite. I wanted causa but they always run out at lunch time, she said so get there early if you want a special treat! Inside is clean and they have a bakery selection similar to what you see in the street cafes in Lima. The staff was also very nice and I noticed them being extra helpful to people who needed help with the menu - so if you're new to the cuisine, this friendly place should be your first stop! 5/5 stars and can't wait to come back."
"I put off trying this Australian inspired spot for months because I kept thinking "it's just rotisserie chicken"-well I'm so glad we got Chook Chicken last night because it was truly delicious! The chicken is juicy, the housemade sauces like smoky macha and piri piri are super flavorful, the sides of fluffy pacific rolls and browned butter squash, even the green goddess salad is one of the best and most unique salads I've ever had. And first time having a lamnington for dessert- if you like coconut this cake is a must!"
"We, my husband and I, travel trying out bbq or southern food restaurants- specifically fried chicken, collard greens and Mac-n-cheese! Well, I can confirm that Post Chicken & Beer here in Denver, CO does not disappoint. This has now become our first late lunch or dinner every trip into CO (which occurs usually 3-4 times per year.) The traditional is moist, served nice and hot (just cooked and fresh), has a nice spice and crunch in its bite. The collard greens have a bit of a sweet and sour type kick with a traditionalFlavor. They are excellent however most recently we've noticed an increase of inclusion of stems from the greens. id like to see that reduced again and more focused on the leaves as the primary bite. The chile Mac and cheese has just the right combination of spicy kick blended with the super creamy cheese noodles. The biscuits also have a great flavor as well. The restaurant decor is fun, comfortable and entertaining. They have a bar, high table seating and traditional table seating. The staff have always been friendly, cheerful and nice. This visit we placed a Togo order that was ready in 20 minutes. We ordered a family meal so we would have leftovers for the week at our hotel."
"Daddy's has the best chicken in Colorado Springs! Hot, crisp, flavorful. Their sandwiches are the best, with many choices of heat. I usually like extra heat, but I opt to dial back to get the full flavor of their chicken. Add the slaw and pickle: Magnificent!Staff is extremely friendly and eat in is bright and clean."
"The food is delicious. I mean so good you almost feel sad when you're eating the quesabirria taco because every bite means you're that much closer to being done We ate a ton of food as a party of 7 and we spent just $95 before tip. That kind of value is unheard of - especially when combined with friendly service and a lovely patio. Highly recommended."
"The service but a bit slow but I think the guy taking the orders was also the one making the food. We ordered the garlic shrimp + rice and the curry chicken and rice with some appetizers. The food was tasty and fresh, albeit a bit slow. A bit on the pricier side for what I normally spend on Chinese food. Also, the booths are right next to the kitchen which had a TV blaring the local news on full volume."
"Food has been consistently fine, for the most part. They still keep the place bright and clean. The service, however, has been up and down, but worse on average overall.Sometimes I get service with a smile, sometimes I get attitude as if they're doing me a favor. I've come in on and off since they opened, but lately I look less forward to visiting. In the latest incident, we tried to phone in an order to maximize our schedule, but they refused to start cooking until we physically got there. Kind of ridiculous. Yes, let's punish everyone because you're worried that you'll get burned by a prankster. There are plenty of other food options around, and if this keeps up, then I'll just take my business elsewhere. Not sure where I draw the line, but it hasn't been crossed yet."
"The Denver Angry Chicken location is better! Way better...Started out as disappointing because no alcoholic beverages are available at this locationWe had a .confusing entrance... because it looks like you order at the counter ... the staff gestured to a cash register area .... Where eventually...they grab menus Then seat you ? The staff Also collect the check at table ... so , not sure what purpose the2 counters serve ??. Drink choices are mostly weird flavors of milk? Two menus , one with chicken& the other...Interesting "Korean "Hot dogs ? Or cheese ? Deep fried on A stick .? Like you've seen on the Food channel on TV ? Personal takeaway is I don't like or need fish flakes on a glorified corndog ? And the chicken chunks were ok but not memorable at all . The Denver location was so good that it's hard to believe this location shares anything but the name Angry Chicken."
"After a meeting nearby, I found myself craving something new. A quick search brought me to Blazing Bird. PRO: Located across from the Ann Schutz Campus off I-225 and Colfax, Blazing Bird is in a prime location. CON: This location has notoriously terrible parking, and it can be difficult to enter and exit the parking lot. Oof. PRO: There's a variety of options that are all customizable in spice level to cater to your preference. CON: Like others have said, their hot isn't as hot as spice-lovers would like. I also noted that the hot really wasn't that hot. Perhaps the adjective "blazing" is a stretch here. Perhaps Seasoned Bird would be a more fitting name... PRO: Guy working at the register was nice enough to bring my order to my table. CON: This really didn't make up for the awkward experience ordering. I just don't think the guy at the register understood that I wanted a meal, but instead of a drink, I wanted a milkshake. That turned into a whole thing. I ended up with a vanilla milkshake that accidentally had a squirt of chocolate and a drink. Plus, bringing my order to my table held up the line of patrons waiting to order. Unfortunately this all just made it a meh experience. It was an okay experience, but I'm not rushing back to Blazing Bird anytime soon."
