Abby W. "The fact that this cafe offers a vegetarian pepper white gravy completely sold me as biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite indulgent food and it's so hard to find a spot that doesn't serve sausage gravy. I was so happy with my breakfast here and could have licked the plate if that wasn't generally frowned upon in public. The biscuits and gravy come with hashbrowns and I opted to add two scrambled eggs with cheese to make it a complete meal. I had to try the apple pie cider, which is a spiced apple cider with cinnamon syrup and caramel syrup topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. It was so good and the perfect cozy drink for a winter day."

The staff at Miyo Cafe is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, available, and attentive but not in a hovering way. They know their locals and it's clear the previous owners (who are still on-site during ownership transition) know their customers. They've got history in the town and relational investment. They're introducing new owners to long time customers to keep that local feel. The food is delicious and customizable - though trust their menu. It doesn't need much customization... it's all so thoughtfully developed. There's something for EVERYONE. And if you don't see it, ask. They'll help you. This might be my new favorite place..."

She told my husband she owns Saigon Cafe now, and if Monses was any indicator of what Saigon Cafe would be like now, well, sign me up. I had to try. My friend and decided to come tonight (4/15/24) and I couldn't be happier we did. The food was bright and flavorful. It was fresh and while I left full, I still left feeling light. I love how veggie forward Vietnamese food is, while managing to pack some serious flavor in. Oh! I ordered the chicken noodle bowl with fish sauce, my friend ordered the crispy tofu noodle bowl with spicy fish sauce. I'm already plotting how to get back here soon. The restaurant itself is really clean and the tables are spaced out well (not crazy close together to where you end up intimately knowing everyone's business). Oh, my friend ordered an iced coffee. She said it was delicious as well."

Very non impressive from the outside but the inside had a very old timey feel and was pretty busy with locals. If the menu had some crazy stuff, triple D might come by.We got a hamburger plate and a Mazatlan skillet. Portions were very good and the taste was solid. Burger and fries were well cooked and had a home made taste to it. The skillet was heavy and solid. Safe to say this brunch was more well received than some of the hipster brunch places nearby that we tried, which pretty much try to copy Snooze."

"I've passed by many a time while shopping at King Sooper or getting sushi right next door (Yama Sushi is awesome by the way!), but decided to come check out this place with some friends one morning for brunch. It felt nice to sit outside at a high top table since the weather was pleasant that day. The food was good, although definitely on the pricey side. I tried the monte cristo and French onion soup- yum! The only thing was that our server was a bit odd... he was listening to our conversation as he was clearing our plates and then jumped into our conversation and brought up a fairly inappropriate topic. Also, the clientele sitting inside (At least that day) were all over 60, so definitely a popular spot with the older crowd!"

Rika M. "What a great day to sit in the patio at Katherine's. If there wasn't so much noise that's coming from University, this would be a perfect spot to feel like dining in a cafe in Paris. The background music at the right volume soothed me.I met up with a friend of mine at this place for a brunch at 10:30am on a Saturday. From the past experience, I knew it might be hard to grab a table during the peak time in the morning especially on a Saturday. I needn't worry; there were a good number of tables available inside and outside. This place has everything: from benedicts to crepes to quiches to French toasts to fruit cups to salads, I mean you name it. Out of so many items on the menu, my friend and I went with crepes.I went with Boulder (crepe). It's got sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, haystack goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes. I asked for an addition of one-egg scrambled. My friend went with Breakfast (crepe) (bacon, egg and cheese) with avocado addition. Just so you know, they have both savory and sweet crepes. My crepe was amazingly good; A little tanginess that comes from the sun-dried tomatoes did the magic by adding a great flavor to the entire dish. And both hers and mine crepes were a good size (we couldn't finish it so we asked for boxes.)Now, this place got busy after 11:30am. It took such a long time before our waitress got us the boxes and the bill (because she was busting her bottom.) We were very understanding of it; it appeared a little short-staffed and fortunately, we had time. We, of course, stopped by at the display of cakes and pastries to look at before walking away from the restaurant. Everything looked amazing but I went with the lemon tart. My friend got her a chocolate croissant. There was a huge display of Eiffel Tower built with Lego pieces (which had a sign that said "Do not touch"); I took a picture of it. Cookies that are shaped like Eiffel Tower were very cute."

I love the abundance of places to sit while enjoying a cup of coffee when reading, working on your computer or chatting with a friend. There are plenty of windows to look out at. This building seems to be a former bank or other business. I love when a new business moves in and makes good use of the space. Kudos to Serranos Coffee for accomplishing this. I also love how their are private rooms to sit in with your friend or party. There is also a nice conference room that patrons may use. They ask for a $20 donation to use the room. I believe this is fair. Coffee is really good here. I was impressed to see Decaf freshly brewed and waiting rather than needing to order a decaf Americano like at so many coffee places. Creamers are behind the counter as well. The nice young lady staff member offered it to me when placing my order. I was here on a Saturday and it was nice that they were open until 6:00 pm. I will definitely return here again the next time I'm in Woodland Park. The nearby downtown area is really charming. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. On rare occasions I prefer savory over sweet in the morning and this was one of those days. I chose the burrito. I didn't realize it was a "wet" burrito which always seems a bit different but nonetheless I fork and knifed my way through it. Delish! Hit the spot on a cold winter morning. It's like a sweet, subtle hug in a mug - not overpowering, just right! Now, let's talk ambiance. Picture this: comfy sofas and chairs that make you feel like you're chilling at home, but better, because there's an air of poshness about the place. It's the perfect spot for a heart-to-heart with your honey or a professional pow-wow with a potential client. I can't stand those coffee joints with seats that feel like you're perched on a rock.
