After ten years and three locations this local business with CO-born Chef Clint and his business partner Chris is killing it! Their menu is small and is uncomplicated. You won't be embarrassed to take a date here. They plate their dishes beautifully. Their food is amazing. They serve wine, beers and natural sodas.Everything was really good. What stood out for me was the Grilled Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and their Chicken Pastrami sandwich. The Pastrami had that perfect heat to it all throughout as you eat it. Nothing serious but it's there. But whatever you order from what we tried , or from their menu is really good. You have to try try everything that we tried: 48 hour Slow Cooked Short Rib, Grilled Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, Mediterranean grilled chicken, Chicken pastrami Sandwich, and their Beef Stroganoff (special of the day) , salads Super Chop. Rocket Chop and South Chop. Everything we had was so delicious and was served and plated beautifully & priced right. Oh, and you won't be embarrassed to take your date here. Aside from the excellent food, the inside is tastefully decorated. With a covered patio for winter and one that's alfresco for summer! Drinks: Frozen passion fruit & lemon berry"

"Those sweet potato fries, though! If you're looking for low carb, whole grain vegan food, look no further. We had the Twister Wrap and the Orange Cauliflower Bowl yesterday -- absolute yumminess. The Twister Wrap is a low-carb option for those of you who care, but it's the most flavorful crispy "chicken" wrap I've had in a while. You get all the textures, which makes this handheld food perfect. (You get the option of grilled or buffalo style as well.) I highly recommend the chipotle sauce option! The wrap comes with a side, and of course I chose sweet potato fries (see my note below).The Orange Cauliflower Bowl looks like real orange chicken and the mix of corn, brown rice, scramble was just the perfect mix. The knowledgeable ladies who took our orders were super accommodating and just very cool about our requests. Our food was executed perfectly. Portion-wise, were both noticing that it was just the right amount.Bonus, which gave this place a 5 stars right away was their decaf and no-sugar iced tea option: hibiscus tea. Hoping their dessert parfaits options will come sugar free some day, or at least low sugar, because I want to destroy those in the best way possible.Also, hat tip to our Uber driver who recommended the sweet potato fries (LOL). They were crispy on the outside and soft in the center. That salt, pepper, herb and cinnamon (?) sprinkle over the fries was just... wow. I'm going to try to recreate it at home because I can't stop thinking about it.Came here for dinner yesterday on a windy evening in Denver! I also added some amazing burnt ends, and for sides - I got their house made french fries that were beautifully seasoned, and their barbecue beans. Everything was fantastic! I got a chance to try all three of their sauces which I highly recommend trying as well...with the original being my favorite. "Came in right after I landed in Colorado Springs, parking was easy to find (4:30pm on a Monday however). Chill bar decor and fun vibes. I had their French dip sandwich and loaded fries with pretzel appetizer.Let me tell you. The French dip sandwich, 5 stars. Fantastic. Tender meat and great flavor. The dip had great flavor and the horseradish sauce on the side was great! The bread was soft and had a good bounce and absorbed the juice nicely! Honestly, French dip is one of my go to sandwiches and this was on the top tier level of how great this was. Loaded fries were good! I would say 4 stars for the fries, the cheese sauce was good but tasted too....fake? I dunno how else to explain it. The pretzel was great, soft and fluffy and great amount of salt. The dipping sauce, eh, just alright. I think a homemade beer mustard sauce would be better than the honey mustard sauce provided, and the cheese is the same as the loaded fries.Overall, great fast service and great food!Can't complain and would love to come back!"

"I read that Big Apple Bodega had opened a brick and mortar restaurant and had to try it out. At 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon there wasn't a crowd. I would imagine they get busy for happy hour or regular lunch/dinner times. The restaurant has some very cool New York themed decor, a very cute, small patio area on the side and a couple of picnic tables outside in back by the parking lot. We were greeted by the owner, Brian, who took our order and made our food. He let us know that each sandwich is made to order so we could make customizations. Brian has been in the food industry since his teen years and his experience shows. Because the sandwiches are pretty large, we split a Sinatra - their classic - and an order of potato skins that were like a very tasty cross between chips and fries. Our sandwich didn't have the same type of bun that's shown on their website but it was very good.I will definitely be back because they have so many more varieties of chopped cheese sandwiches that I'd love to try."

"This place is a true hole-in-the-wall gem. It's hidden in a mostly residential neighborhood but they take pride in the food they are putting out. Keep in mind you're likely going to have someone at the counter who speaks very little English, so study the menu before you head in. I highly recommend the La Bombom burger, which is a deluxe double cheeseburger with ham and hot dogs layered in alongside the cheeseburger, with a side of fries and a roasted jalapeño. They also have all the street food snacks like elotes, dorinachos, carne asada fries, wings (Buffalo or Bbq), quesadillas, and some tasty desserts. Def stop by, but have patience if you don't speak fluent Spanish, and be rewarded with yummy treats."

From food trucking and meal prepping to hotel brunching and food stalling, these cats have been ALL OVER the Greater Denver metro area sharing their culinary creativity with the masses.You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone kinder and more passionate about the community more than Gio and his business partner, Hayden. The ethos of Uptown & Humboldt stems from their travels around the world and their culinary adventures. The end result is nothing short of damn delicious food.The current menu revolves around their gyros and burgers. You can't go wrong with anything you try. The FMB and Berlin burgers are absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit I went with my favorite order: the Lamb Gyro and Yuca Fries. This combination is magnificent. The lamb tender and the gyro filling. The yuca fries somehow steal the show every time, with the garlic cilantro aioli in th running for most addictive side sauce in Denver.PRO TIP: wash it down with a Pineapple Basil Agua Fresca. It puts all other agua frescas to shame. Splurge on the drink, IT'S BEYOND WORTH IT.If you're at their food stall at Zeppelin Station, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't try anything from their newer tapas menu. The two standouts are the Truffle Manchego Croquettes and the Pistachio Whipped Feta. Just take my money and call it a day.If you find their food truck and they happen to be serving breakfast burritos, order one. Actually order seven. In the breakfast burrito-obsessed world of Colorado, theirs are TOP TIER. These are craveworthy. Like going out in a blizzard craveworthy!I'm one of Gio and Hayden's biggest fans. They've accomplished so much in a short period of time, but I have a feeling they have big things on their horizon. Wonderful people, excellent food, and a burning desire to do good in this world. If that isn't the recipe for success and happiness, I don't know what is."

It's not a giant pile of iceburg with a chicken breast on top, like some other places. The onion rings are hot and crispy, breaded not battered.They have tons of parking and a nice patio with a big bar order window. Their dining room seating is primarily booths for 4 people. FYI: If you come in before a show at Fiddlers, they have more limited drink menu, to expedite getting beverages to everyone. And, you'll get your beverage in plastic, not a copper mug."

Since they're a newer place, they don't have a huge sign out front yet, but as long as you can make it to JAKS, you'll find it right inside! It's counter style seservice, so you order it in the "hallway" then can go sit at Jaks, have a beer and chat while you wait. It was explained that everything is made to order so it's about a 10 to 12 min wait unless you order ahead. I am NOT MAD at that wait time, let me tell you! The food we got was 1000% better than what we ever expected to get! It was a Tuesday, and lucky for us, tacos are on special on Tuesdays! It's 3 tacos for 10.99 or 3 mix n' match tacos for 11.99. Very fair prices for a taco plate in my opinion. I expected just 3 regular lil tacos, but they used fajita tortillas so these were very generous portions. I got the chicken bacon ranch tacos, that come with diced bacon, home made ranch and Swiss cheese, and they were AWESOME!!! You can tell right away the chicken is fresh, and hand battered, very well seasoned. Could easily stand alone and be the star of the show. But in the tacos??? They are my absolute new favorite thing in this town. Oh and how can I forget about the mozzarella sticks?!! They are served 6 to an order, dusted in a garlic parm type seasoning. Served with the homemade ranch and marinara sauce. They were SO good! The ranch, as we know, is amazing. But that marinara?! It's fresh and light and holy garlic batman! I could eat that marinara on anything, and I'm usually not a fan.Overall, this spot is in my weekly rotation for sure!"

Food- my son had kid's cheeseburger- appropriately sized and he gobbled it up with a thumbs up. I had the NY strip which was actually cooked to a perfect medium rare and came pre-sliced. Swapped out fries for the apple slaw which was good. Also had a great slightly dirty vodka martini with perfect ice shards layered on top which I didn't expect! It's a fun family-friendly atmosphere with obviously hard working servers and staff. Burgers were flying out of the kitchen so must be good - if I'm in town would definitely come back."

I did Glen's favorite Burrito with chicken and the combination of all the ingredients came together as a masterpiece covered with their spicy green chili (not too spicy for gringos) Yesterday, I did the sausage egg & chili breakfast burrito that was one of the best tasting burritos anywhere west of Denver along I 285. It also kept me satisfied thru the afternoon. Really filling!My Buddy did the street tacos the other day and won't stop talking about how awesome they were.
