"Honestly I've always had consistent meals when here. I always get the same. Rare prime rib with loaded mashed potatoes and the house salad. It's been great every time. Our service this last time (11/25/23) was the absolute best. Our server went well beyond good service. It was amazing. He stopped by just enough. Brought water before we realized we needed it. He was friendly with not only my husband and I but our kids as well. I wish I remembered his name but he had a super deep voice lol! Usually service isn't a kicker for us. We understand the industry is tough, but I just thought he should get the credit deserved. Oh! The tablet with trivia was so much fun as well! The kids really loved playing on teams with us against each other."
"Great place to have brunch. Ambiance is nice, clean and service was quick, friendly and efficient. Their food portions are a lot too! You'll definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. I highly recommend stopping in here for brunch or dinner if you got an appetite. You won't be disappointed!"
The perfect balance between breakfast and lunch, to help soak up some of last nights regrets. Our rookie patty is layered with hash browns, crispy bacon, a fried egg, and melted cheddar cheese all smothered in our house dressing.

"This is your typical neighborhood bar with lots of regulars and locals that frequent often. We didn't sit inside with everybody else so I can't speak on the atmosphere or environment, but it did feel awkward walking in and having everyone glare at you.We all decided to sit out on the enclosed back patio and had the whole place to ourselves. There were 4 or 5 tv's to watch any desired games and the speaker system was good. The waitress was nice and chill. She went a little MIA for a bit and we had to track her down, but overall we liked the service. For the food, I got the corned beef poppers and house side salad. I was originally going to get a corned beef sandwich, but since I wanted the poppers I didn't want to double up on the corned beef. The jalapeno poppers were disappointing to say the least. All I could taste was the jalapeno which was a bummer because I was excited for the corned beef since I heard it was pretty good. The side salad came out on a rectangular plate, which everyone thought was weird, but for $4 who cares.. it was decent enough. It seems that the drinks are the highlight of JJ's Place, which isn't a surprise because it is a bar. They had a long list of mules, so I chose the summer mule made with Calypso rum, lime and ginger beer. It was refreshing, but nonetheless strong. My party also shared a couple pickle shots and can I just say, I will have all the pickle shots, please and thank you!Overall, a nice joint for a drink, but I'll have to stop by again to try one of the corned beef sandwiches."
"We ate breakfast here today. I had the Breakfast Burrito. It was incredible! I wanted to thoroughly enjoy the meal, so I cut it open and just dove in! Amazing chili, potatoes, meats, scrambled eggs, onions... just the perfect mix of ingredients! I had to leave the tortilla behind because I got comfortably full!! I felt like I had a good, solid, wholesome meal (excluding the extra carbs I would have had from the tortillas)! Fantastic breakfast anyway you "cut"it!"
"OMGosh...... another great find... thanks to YELP '!! Traveling in our RV through the Colorado Springs area, we were looking for a pub with food. Rookies Taphouse was close to where we were parking our RV. Walking in... the place had great music playing and it was quite busy. We squeezed in at the bar..... after a nice guy moved over a chair giving us two chairs. We thanked him !! Sammie was our Bartender.... Service was good. Attentive but not overbearing. She was very cool with a great attitude. We ordered our drinks and just settled in for a bit. We watched plates of food go by and thought it looked and smelled great. We decided to split the Rookies Hamburger with bourbon grilled onions with a side of sweet potatoes. Amazing flavor !!! The sweet potatoes were very crispy on the outside and somewhat firm on the inside.... Delicious!!! We feel it was within our top 5 hamburgers we've EVER had. Highly recommended."
"Does not service food! Only a bar! Great time though had a DJ and we just hung out and had a good time and walked to the hotel! Great bar!"
"Really enjoyed the stop on the way to Buena Vista with family of four, my husband and myself. It was pretty empty when we went, and my niece and nephew just had a blast, playing pool and eating some delicious bar food. We were served by the chef who takes a lot of pride in the food he makes, and as he should! It was delicious homemade with love. If you're looking for a spot to grab a bite, definitely stop through here."
"Excellent dinner this evening with our children and grandchildren. Host and server very attentive and made us few very welcome. We all had one of their specialty hamburgers. The ground beef is absolutely top quality and tastes amazing. Order your burger from rare to well done. We had medium rare and it was perfect!"
"Great food, great service, I would go again and again and again but Im only in town to visit. Lots of items on the menu to choose from & the atmosphere was very inviting."
"New specials are rotated in each week, so it makes it fun. Building has tons of character and charm (over 120 years old) pretty cool! Huge backyard with trains coming through."
"Lots of TVs, sound on for big games, decent prices on drinks with friendly staff and mgmt! Plenty of pool tables, if so inclined! Had Wings & chicken tenders as typical bar food but good enough."
"J-Bar is what happens when storied history meets an Auburge Hotel. Somehow this place is a cross between Hunter S Thompson (who hung out here in the 70s, when he lived out at Woody Creek) and the Montage, and it works. The refurbished bar here looks right out of a movie set, moody, old fashioned, richly appointed and atmospheric.Pricey bar food and beverage options here: good sticky ribs, excellent cocktails and some say the best burger in Aspen. All of the food here is delicious but more expensive than it probably should be. The period details in the J-bar and Hotel Jerome are not to be missed. You may rub shoulders with a billionaire tech CEO (we saw a recognizable one), alongside the other denizens of Aspen, including a customer who brought two painfully skinny dogs, possibly whippets (with their ribs literally sticking out) into the bar totally oblivious to the stares and withering looks of other patrons. Another day in Aspen! The bar and hotel must have radically changed since the days of Hunter S Thompson, but it's now a tony & fascinating stop on a night out in Aspen."

Texas Roadhouse is a solid decent price wise restaurant. After a long time away we have visited twice in the last couple weeks. Tonight I had a couple house margaritas with an extra shot of 1800. I ordered the 8oz sirloin, baked potato and Caesar salad. My wife took the salad as her meal. The bread/buns that come with the meal are fantastic with a cinnamon butter. They are buttery, delicious and I tell myself they will not give me a heart attack. I also tell myself I will only have one. Both lies. Don't fill up on the bread. My steak came as I ordered it, medium rare, the baked potato, sour cream, more butter and onions...very good. Is it the Peppertree, Cowboy Star or others? Not at all, but good and good price. My wife substituted ranch dressing on her salad and later committed it was bland.. probably the only miss.So is texas roadhouse a high end steakhouse? No. But it's good for a decent price. It gets busy..Both recent visits it seemed there were a lot of folks waiting for a table. But the bar was open and we just walked right up. If you are ok at the bar this will skip the lines. Go for a visit

Best deck in Breck and. a wonderful place for kiddos in the summer. The grand kids like the kids menu. Kenosha has good food, good service, great bartender. They have Gluten free buns and sweet potato fries too. Try the bbq platters...enough for two meals! Specials every day of the wee....Sunday was the famous Bloody Mary.

Was in CO Springs for an event at the Airforce Academy and checked Yelp and popped into this spot for some BFast grub. Glad I did. It is a very small spot, but you could tell locals love it and the chef is obviously talented. I got the French toast, side of bacon, and hash. The young lady with awesome pink hair told me folks like how the chef gets the hash crispy, but I couldn't go wrong with the breakfast potatoes either. They let you know(signs) food is made to order, so if you are in a rush you better order ahead! The food tasted like it was made to order and prepared with care. Anyway, great spot. A local place to get a great meal, even for an out of towner! The diner/cafe feel was wonderfully created with nostalgic flicks on the tables, signs & messages on the walls and amusing quotes in various places. I would have taken pictures, but didn't want to disturb the casual and intimate morning vibe that made the whole experience enjoyable. Took mental pictures! Rock City Cafe is doing some great things...I would love a spot like this in my hometown.

The food is good but the service not so much. Granted, we go during lunch so, it may be different at peak times. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time to spare during lunch.

This place is a gem. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and unfortunately it wasn't very busy. Initially I was concerned but that concern disappeared quickly. I was warmly welcomed and quickly dug into a sandwich off the menu. It was a delicious french dip with kettle chips. The meat was fantastic with the au jus. Their kettle chips tasted fresh too. Happy hour had $1 off everything. I will definitely come back. Even if its just to hear some classic tracks being played.

Great little place. We've been next door for drinks in the past but decided to give this place a go and I'm so glad we did. Hoss was awesome, very welcoming and accommodating- he turned the Avs game on for us so we could watch it. Great prices on shots. 2 shots of Patron Silver were $16 total before tip. The facility itself was warm and full of history. It was a lot more quiet than its counterpart next store, which was great so we could hear the game commentary. This will be our new go to place in Fairplay.

Have been here a few times and food has always been good. Two people in our group of four had salads. I had an Italian sandwich with side salad, the salad was wilted, I think it was under the heat lamp, because plate felt a little warm. Another person had steak salad that had the same issue (wilted greens). All other food was good, loved my sandwich, my wife had the gnocchi and loved it. Three had cocktails, all loved the drinks. They may just want to address the wilted greens. Will come back, just no salads.

"Despite this being chain in several states, it does not disappoint! The menu made it nearly impossible to choose what to order because everything looked SO GOOD. I settled on the pork belly jasmine fried rice and shared the pancake sampler with my friend. I also had the greens juice (could have done without any ice, usually pressed juices aren't served with ice.) The food was delicious and the server was super friendly as well! I was able to get free parking two minutes down the road which was ideal as well."
"Hits The Spot can do what their name says. Hit that hungry spot!!A no fuss spot for breakfast and so affordable! Everything that you see on this review was $20 minus the tip! The food is straight up basic breakfast and tasty! No complain here! The staff are seasoned and attentive! I like looked around and noticed photos of old Hollywood stars from lone ago. Also, this diner is frequented by regulars. Love it!My special pancake was fluffy. My eggs came as requested ; over medium. My sausage although nothing to boast about in size was what sausage should be! seasoned well!So if you're looking for a bfast spot while you're in the west side do not hesitate to stop by and try this folks!"
"Vietnamese lettuce wrap is super delicious! For me, it is like Vietnamese bun because there are rice vermicelli noodle and tasty sour/salty sauce. I love that they are not worried about giving me lots of sliced green and red chili and crunchy peanut. The rotisserie chicken is juicy delicious. I feel like I can enjoy lettuce wrap by itself without meat, and add steamed rice to enjoy with chicken and delicious sauce."
"I've had this spot bookmarked for seemingly forever, since we heard about it from our COS family members. I finally got a chance to take our niece on our most recent visit over the holidays, and we had mixed feelings - perhaps because we waited SO long to go, it got overhyped, but overall it was a good spot to knock out our burger cravings. I really thought I would love this place but I wasn't really wowed, as Camille said.My husband and I shared the weekly special (jalapeno popper burger) and the B&B, while our niece got a standard burger, all of us got fries. Despite being quoted a wait time of 20 minutes, our order was out fast - that being said, I'm unsure if our order was actually correct. The Jalapeno Burger was fun to try, and they were heavy-handed with the toppings on this one, with both more jalapenos and more cream cheese than expected. I liked this burger best, but my husband found the amount of toppings overwhelmed the beef. The burger also had their signature cheese skirt, which was fun and crispy, adding a nice texture. Our second burger was confusing - the B&B has Cajun spice, bacon and bleu cheese on garlic focaccia. The bread was great, the beef didn't really taste different to me, and my half of the burger somehow did not have bacon or bleu cheese, leading me to wonder if we just got a regular plain burger. My husband said he liked the burger, but he inhaled it so quickly that I don't really know what toppings were on his half. Imagine the shrug emoji here, typical dude.We also had mixed feelings about the Belgian style fries - I like how they are skin- on and very crispy. That being said, my portion seemed to all be tiny end pieces while the other two plates had more large, whole fries. Had I realized how much was in each portion, we probably only would have gotten one to share, so that really padded the bill. Niece didn't really have any comments on her order but said she liked her meal. The location is clean and ordering was straightforward. I like how the location has a patio for nice weather, and the sauce dispensers at the front (ketchup, house ranch and fry sauce) are a nice touch. I'm not raring to go back here, or opposed to doing so - wish there was a way to add on a reasonable portion of fries as a combo option rather than the full basket, though that's more of an issue for solo dining."
"Such a great lunch today. We got the pretzels with cheese and they were incredible. The cheese was perfect and we loved the onions in the cheese. The poutine was incredible. We really enjoyed the braised short ribs in it. I will definitely order it again. The burgers were great and had tons of flavor. My favorite was the sourdough hot hatch chilis. I will definitely be back. 5/5 recommend"
"Been searching for a decent no frills breakfast spot since breakfast king closed and I finally found my happy place! Great service, great food and welcoming clean diner/greek influence restaurant! So yummy!"
"Pretty good burgers. It's not a ton of toppings/meat but the flavor is good. I would say the lunch special is one of the best in downtown for sure, and the smash chicken tenders were really tasty! Service seems like they are still kind of getting their footing, there was only one server in the whole place when I went on a Sunday evening. Overall, good but not great. Hoping they work the kinks out and are very successful here!"
"Everything about this place is amazing ! It's clean it's friendly it's airy and has many tvs the patio is cute too they have video games and amazing food I have tried many things there and it's always good ! But to top it all off I'd the staff ! They are the nicest most efficient and beautiful servers ever I have compassion for my handicap group. I bring in there unannounced and huge groups, and they handle us with ease and kindness. They are very accurate with their checks and refilling drinks. I have a special place for Lindsey the sweetest little waitress that was not concerned about her tip as much as she was helping my special needs group, I adore her and today while I was there, I got the pleasure of meeting Brigette who is also amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone please go give it a try."
"Eat lunch here everyday. The sandwiches are delicious and the fried rice is amazing. Very fresh veggies, dishes made to order and owner is very welcoming. Food has always been amazing and served hot. I love that it's real food at a great price."
"I read that Big Apple Bodega had opened a brick and mortar restaurant and had to try it out. At 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon there wasn't a crowd. I would imagine they get busy for happy hour or regular lunch/dinner times. The restaurant has some very cool New York themed decor, a very cute, small patio area on the side and a couple of picnic tables outside in back by the parking lot. We were greeted by the owner, Brian, who took our order and made our food. He let us know that each sandwich is made to order so we could make customizations. Brian has been in the food industry since his teen years and his experience shows. Because the sandwiches are pretty large, we split a Sinatra - their classic - and an order of potato skins that were like a very tasty cross between chips and fries. Our sandwich didn't have the same type of bun that's shown on their website but it was very good.I will definitely be back because they have so many more varieties of chopped cheese sandwiches that I'd love to try."
"We stopped here before heading towards Colorado Springs for the day. It wasn't full yet but was getting there. We sat at the countertop and got greeted and taken care of right away. I got the #1 breakfast that came with 2 eggs, choice of meat and choice of pancake or French toast. The food was good and a perfect portion size. The prices were cheap too. Good hole in the wall cafe."
"We have been here a few times and the prior visits were more friendly. When we walked it, it was like a silent movie. We approached the hostesses both acknowledged us visually without a single utter of anything. She found a table in her book and the other walked away as if we an understanding to follow him. Perplexed, we stood there until he stopped, looked at us and made some indescribable sound. Assuming he was showing us to our table, we followed. This is by no means an exaggeration of the exchange. Once we were seated things improved. I ordered the Pigs in the Blanket, which I enjoyed thoroughly. My wife ordered her typically, French Toast, on this occasion the coconut version. She also liked hers but the coconut syrup was scanty for the amount of French Toast. I really love the restaurant with its high ceilings, brightness filled by sunlight and their amazing patio. I'm hoping they improve on the service slightly, especially the hostess as that is the first person one interacts with."
"The best BBQ you've never had. The food is great. The business is clearly getting started so don't expect a high end dine in experience, but the owner is polite, funny, and clearly dedicated and excited about his craft. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. The food will surprise you. There are nuances and little touches that indicate this chef knows what he's doing. Make sure you get the oxtail and the beans, thank me later"
"I've been to the Metro Grill several times and the food is always great. Bar food is very underrated as a category - this pretty much in that category and does it very well Tonight I had their carnitas tacos. These were simple - wonderfully spiced pork carnitas, onion, and an excellent chili Verde on a flour tortilla that seemed house-made - thin, light, and fresh. They came with fresh lime to squeeze over the tacos. That's it! Simple but awesome! Enjoy!."
"We got free breakfast coupons from the business travels. Everything is delicious and have huge portions!"
"I've long heard about this place and finally made it in. It's very good for what it is: local dive bar with Pittsburgh roots.Good prices on macros, a few decent crowd pleasing craft choices, tasty pub grub. (Just be warned that the Yuengling signs on the wall are just PA flair, they don't actually carry it.) The owner is super friendly. Great place to watch a game with tvs everywhere, and regular live music."
"One time review -- stopped in for a bite and was loving it from the get go. Great, open atmosphere with two levels for seating. We sat at the bar since it was midday and the service was spot on! Fish and chips for both of us.... Couldn't have asked for better! Both were perfectly done and fries tasted fresh! Tartar sauce tasted like it was mixed onsite and not from a bottle. If we come through here again, I'll give it another try and update the review. Always tricky to give these spots 5 stars off one visit. If I have the same experience 2 times in a row.... It'll earn the 5 stars."
"We were looking forward to having barbecue. Since we were in the neighborhood we decided to try this location. We showed up around 5:30pm. Service was friendly, but the meat and the sides were just bland. There are so many other bbq places to go in the springs."
"Tourist review: so, so glad we stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night! We were looking for a spot to watch some college football and landed on Front Range Barbeque... excellent service from start to finish. Immediately the staff honored our request to change tables so we could be near a TV and they were kind enough to put on our game. The bartender was also our waiter and he was awesome. Hubs and I split a plate so we could try a little bit of everything. The meat was super tender & flavorful and baked beans were perfect. I'm a big sides girl and loved the crispy onions and cornbread. We don't usually eat leftovers but this time we did! The ambiance is definitely bar-type which surprised me that they had so few TVs. If you're looking for a spot to watch a game, you could get lucky like us or maybe consider another location... otherwise, a perfect dining experience in Old Colorado City."
"Sat at the warm, cozy bar and they put on the football game we wanted to see! The food was extremely good. I had an Octoberfest spaetzle special with a side house salad. The salad was sooooo good I could have eaten an entire large mixing bowl! Spring mix with dried beet sprinkles, tiny sweet marinated yellow peppers and a KILLER house made green goddess dressing. Ou server behind the bar, Kaitlin, was super attentive, and by her looks, could be Kat Timpf's sister. Will definitely be returning!"
"3+ years ago, an Uber driver told me West Hill Grill had the best wings in town and now after I finally made it in, he wasn't wrong!! At the suggestion of the bartender, we had the grilled wings with Buffalo and blue cheese for dipping on the side. They were amazing!! We also shared the prime rib sandwich and even though it seemed a little light on the meat, it was still delicious. Tater tots were crispy and phenomenal and the curly fries were a little skinny but still tasty. They have a decent beer selection and good music."
"They lure you in with a buy one get one free offer but then require you to purchase an highly overpriced drink, so its not worth the hassle. The food was fresh and hot but nothing special, just regular bar food. The foul odor of stale cigarette smoke hits you in the face as you walk in like being kicked in the face by an MMA fighter. Although the bartender was polite and friendly and apologized for the stink."
"Excellent place for all day breakfast. Service was top notch and they kept our drinks filled and checked back on us after we got our food. I tried their chicken fried steak, and it was great! We will definitely come again."
