Chefs kiss for their breakfast!!! The biscuits and gravy are legit!! I consider myself a connoisseur as I bake and make my own quite often and I was raised by a Dad that makes exceptional biscuits and gravy even over a campfire! (Go Dutch oven!). Usually breakfast places use the packet for their sausage gravy but not Burnt Toast!! Homemade milk gravy with stellar sausage, I'm sure that they used a little chicken broth for more flavor and the server says it starts with a roux with bacon grease. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!Excellent service on a Sunday morning, smaller place with ambiance across the street from City Hall. It looks like their green Chile breakfasts are similarly excellent and we also ordered a yogurt parfait, very good!!I mulled over the avocado toast there was one with prosciutto, but still so glad to get the B&G

I went here for breakfast the other day and I wasn't disappointed. The menu isn't very extensive but it has all the breakfast basics. It was on the pricier side for a breakfast restaurant but the portions were large so I guess it's worth it. The staff was friendly and attentive

Burnt Toast Restaurant is a delightful spot that offers an array of flavorful dishes, each more delicious than the last. During our visit, we were blown away by the vibrant and creative menu options. We started with the **Huevos Rancheros**: two crunchy corn tortillas atop hatch green chile and adobo sauces, layered with pinto beans, tender pork carnitas, and two eggs cooked to your liking. This masterpiece was topped with house-made crema, avocado salsa, pico de gallo, and a generous sprinkle of cotija cheese. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine, making each bite a savory delight.Next, we tried the **Breakfast Street Tacos**. These tacos featured scrambled eggs and spicy chorizo nestled in warm corn tortillas, also topped with house-made crema, avocado salsa, pico de gallo, and cotija cheese. The balance of the rich, savory chorizo with the fresh toppings made for an unforgettable breakfast experience. One of the most unexpected highlights of our visit was discovering the small, dungeon-like area below the restaurant. While searching for the restroom, we stumbled upon the "Red Room," a hidden gem adorned with red decor and cool portraits. This unique space had a vibrant, quirky vibe and was incredibly picturesque, adding an extra layer of charm to our visit.Though we found the portion sizes a bit on the smaller side for the menu prices, the quality and taste of the food more than made up for it. Every dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. In summary, Burnt Toast Restaurant is a must-visit for food lovers seeking a unique dining experience. The inventive menu, combined with the restaurant's charming and quirky atmosphere, makes it a standout destination. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning for more culinary adventures.

To be honest, this place isn't really worth it. The service is not good, our waitress never checked in on us. We had to flag her down in order to get her attention and we had waited about 20 minutes for her to come and take our payment. Mind you, it was not busy inside or outside and there were a few other waitresses working. The food is mediocre and over priced for what you get.

Cute diner for breakfast in co springs. The server was super nice and chatty w us! We got a variety of plates but it did take some to get them. All plates were good and some of us even finished the whole plate! a solid 3.5/5!

Definitely need small business time, but this is a cozy, welcoming place to slow down and enjoy some unique made woth care food. Can't wait to bring our French Toast loving kid back for a flight. I didn't think we would get so much food, so the cost is definitely worth it! Be aware, there is a small business fee with every meal, but if you don't understand why this place probably isn't for you

Stopped in to Burnt Toast on the way to Pike's Peak. These guys were packed. We came in during a lull, I think, as it seemed to only get busier and busier as we hung out. When our food arrived, I understood why. Flavorful and well seasoned. Our wait staff were calm and cool, despite the onslaught of patrons. They took it all in stride, kept smiling and seating folks in all the nooks and crannies. Cool to see their flow. The place itself is a throw back to my childhood - old school, full stop. They had three televisions playing The Addams Family, The Beverley Hillbillies and an old western, lol. Cool vibe for sure. We bellied up to the bar and loved watching all the action as we waited. I ordered the Trail Blazer and my guy ordered the Bienvendios Burrito. Both were really good, albeit a tad pricy ($18 each). That aside, it was a great breakfast. Great find. Thanks, Yelp.

This is my favorite spot when visiting the Springs. Breakfast with a southwestern flair, including very good avocado toast and specialty plates. Never disappointed. Friendly service and good coffee. What more could you want?
