I live on the east side, but after striking out at several stores (literally every store on the east side that sells this type of merchandise), we drove across town to check this shop out. The customer service was exceptional and unique as far as what is typical today. I loved the thriving live plants inside. They have a great selection of Carhartt, Ariat, and Wrangler, plus we found a warm jacket for our dog.

I bought a pair of stupid shoe laces here. The owner who looked at my shoes said I need 54" laces. I purchased. Went home. Laces were two feet too long. Heck, the laces were hanging on the ground they were sooo long. Went to return next day. Nope. No returns allowed. I even originally offered to take a lace out of my shoe to make sure correct fit. Owner said no need as I know the size you need. I was only offered a store credit. No returns. It is not like a shirt I have worn a few times. I have been a regular here for years! Not any more.

The owner of this establishment was extremely rude to me and other customers while I was in the store. Never before have I ever been so demeaned in a public setting. Never, and I repeat NEVER, go to this store.

I have been in this store 4 times. The first time was when I needed a dollar exchanged for quarters. I was told they don't do that there in a rude way, so I left vowing not to shop there. Well, my daughter needed boots for riding, so I only knew of this place. I went in there to look and was told by a gentleman that the kid's boots were at their other location off HWY 24. I went over and a sweet woman helped us try on boots. Even though we didn't find what we were looking for, I got a better impression. So the 3rd time I went in, I purchased 2 hats and 2 pairs of work gloves. The total came out to almost $150! The entire time I was in the store, the 2 women working were chasing around a wasp with a fly swatter, giggling like children. The fourth time I went into the store was to return the hats because they did not fit. The owner said they don't do that. When I pointed out there was not a sign, verbal warning, or written warning on the receipt, the owner scowled, rolled her eyes and said, "There's dirt all over the hats." When I said that was impossible because they'd just been sitting in my back seat, the owner replied, "I usually Lysol them and it is a healthcode thing." When I told the owner that when I tried on hats in the store, the ones I put back weren't cleaned, she said, "Oh, well I probably did at the end of the day." I told her I would make a dispute with my credit card company because she was refusing to give me a refund. She said that was fine and I left. I will never go to this store again. 2/3 times I have been in, the customer service has not been polite or helpful.

This place is horrible. The employees were sweet, 2 of them were very polite. But the owner Diane was insane and very rude. She actually yelled at her employee to watch me because I might have a gun! Really? I dont even own a permit or a gun. She talks to her employees in a very unprofessional and horrible manner, they refuse returns even though theres a receipt, and everything is insanely over priced. I will NEVER go there again, I truly recommend no one else does too, shes a horrible person and owner.

Great store with great service! A gentleman named Derrick helped me find the perfect Danner boots. They are so comfortable! The lady Karmen who rang me up was so nice and helpful. I also got to speak with the owner, Dianne I believe her name was. She gave me a free pair of very nice comfortable socks. I have also bought a pair of Keens from their discount store. They are comfortable and I was amazed on how cheap they were. I have been a satisfied customer with this place for the past two years, and I will continue to purchase my boots and clothing here. They have a huge selection of work clothes also. Highly recommended!

The selection of work clothes and boots is fine, the two stars is for the elderly employee who followed our group around like the KGB agent in a bad spy movie. I understand that you have shoplifting problems, but the way you are dealing with it is going to cost you as well (we spent close to $1400 over several visits, will look for a friendlier option next time).

I spent 100.00 at this place in the past week but I will never go there again. Everyone in Manitou Springs seems to have been dosed on something and the owner of this place must have gotten two doses.

DONT lose your receipt!!!!! Even with their tag on the item they will not even give you store credit. Im glad I called first and did not make the trip down from Divide, CO. Was not asking for a refund which I totally would understand not being able to do. WOW, WHAT A GREEDY OWNER!!!!!!!!!

Love the staff. I have never had one issue with anyone there. They don't work on Commission so they have nothing to gain from the sale except a great sale for the company. Exchanges have never been a problem either.
