This is one of those stores that's been here forever but most likely have passed by. We needed to repair a picture frame that broke, so we went here. Good workmanship, good service and good prices. Would definitely recommend. You never realize how important getting a good frame is - until you need one.

I've had several pieces framed by Fred. He is very friendly and always does a great job. His prices are fair, and he always completes the job on time.

I commissioned a project ( two shadow boxes for medals) through Budget Framer.It was discussed extensively as to the design & layout of the project.Fred, the proprietor, decided to make the boxes exactly how I asked him not to, he said he was unable to contact me, so went ahead and made them in a manner that was easier & cheaper for himself.When we discussed the issue, Fred stated that it was not his problem & he was only willing to return $800.00 of my $1500.00 deposit, I left with nothing.Your money is just that, please don't let someone steal it from you & force you to go to court.I would absolutely give zero stars

Have come in to see Fred for the past 4 years. We have brought in several rare and unique sizes of pictures and paintings which I was skeptical about how they would turn out. Every time he has exceeded my expectations and remains a true gem and master craftsman here in Colorado Springs. He has also repaired substandard work from other vendors which again I did not fully expect. I highly recommended Budget Framer for any and all custom or routine framing work! 5 stars!!!

I had a couple of pieces needing some work done, including one from 1941. Fred takes the time to point out options which could be used for the type and nature of the piece being considered. The store isn't inexpensive, and certainly not budget, but the quality of the work and attention to detail is clear. Be transparent on what one's budget is and Fred can do his best to craft something that will accommodate. There is certainly no issue on quality and service at the BF.

I've been using Budget Framer to frame all the art in my collection (oils, acrylics, watercolors). They have a great selection of frame and mats at good prices. Fred is experienced and has a great eye with valuable recommendations to really help a piece stand out.
