We went here while we were staying at the new Chamonaix, this casino is attached. At present my wife is on a knee scooter. In order to reach the floors you had to exit the casino to access said floors on this particular evening it was pouring and the staff just kind of looked at us without a clue. Won't be back

I came to Cripplecreek last minute to check it out. I came across Broncho Billy's in this little historic downtown area with several casinos. I thought it was a cute place and decided to book a room because it was a long ride home. Old Victorian style, very clean and comfy room. I will definitely stay here again and had a really great experience.

A charming little turn-of-the-century hotel, recently refurbished and redecorated but retaining its old-time flair. Wonderful high ceilings with crenelated crown molding, very comfortable beds with pillows piled high, and little touches to remind you of the past like doilies on the bedside tables and wind-up rather than digital alarm clocks. Our nicely appointed room was quite small, but had a new flat-screen TV, microwave, small fridge, and a two-cup Mr. Coffee. Both a ceiling fan and AC unit would keep you nice and cool in the summer, electric baseboard heaters in the room and bathroom made it very cozy in the winter. The nightly rate was inexpensive in comparison to other mountain communities - just $85 for a Friday night stay off-season. I'm pretty sure they want you to drop your cash in the sister Bronco Billy's Casino two blocks away, as we were given coupons for discount breakfast and dinner there as part of our stay. Nice place - if I stay the night in Cripple Creek again I'd be happy to return to this little 10-room hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay. Almost hate to review the old hotel since there are only 10 rooms and we wouldn't want to miss out. Clean, quaint, pretty, kind of like a b&b. We will stay there again for sure (if we can get a room). Price is right too.

Stayed here again a year later. Not disappointed, incredible room rate plus highly discounted(49 cents!) breakfast at Casino restaurant. Well done historical hotel, will be back.

The sheets were stained and there was still coffee in the pot from the prior guest. The style of the room was nice although a little small. The cleanliness was just subpar. I can't stay I'd ever stay there again if it wasn't going to be extremely inconvenient for me to stay elsewhere.

Yup. Very pleased start to finish. Interestingly, I don't think this hotel pops up on the usual hotel search sites.....I found it more by happy accident. Don't pass on this one for that reason, it's a good place to stay. Nice room in a classic old building, quiet, overlooking the street. Great shower, comfy bed, decent food and a great rate. Everybody we dealt with was gracious and friendly. We stayed on a Sunday night off season, (Oct, 2016) $69 room rate included 2 free dinners in the small casino restaurant, (she had steak, I had fried shrimp, both good and plenty) plus a good generous breakfast for 2. Sadly, though, we did not win in the casino. We will be back. Not today, not tomorrow, but soon!
