I've been here for events ranging from the Spirit (competitive cheer) State Championships to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It's pretty easy get in and out in your car, and there are places to stay and places to eat within walking distance.

This arena is kinda old but the shows here have been awesome. The queue management is a bit awkward. The staff is pretty amazing. Not a fan of the venue. More a fan of the events I've seen there.

Another great year here for Colorado Springs Comic Con. It's the perfect size to hold an event of this many people. All of the people who cosplayed did a great job. Suffering in the heat and the lack of a/c to provide enough for this many in the event.

The parking lot itself needs to be re paved! Getting in was OK getting out was another story. I parked at the far end of the lot near where I came in so getting in line was no problem. However, if you need to be in the "far right" lane to be able to turn, which I needed, you have a real problem. Somehow, there needs to be a traffic director to help out.

We came here for a hockey tournament. When we arrived, we were excited as the exterior of the building looked so good. We thought that this would be a fancy rink just like those NHL rinks. USA Hockey headquarters were just nearby, so we expected it to be a nice one.Unfortunately, only the primary hall was nice. The Olympic and NHL rinks in the annex were quite worn out. Not only were they worn out, they were poorly maintained and dirty. There is no heater in the audience seating area, so it's always cold. The restrooms were also dirty. The ice quality, however, appeared to be good. I didn't get to skate on the ice, but per my hockey player son, the ice quality was great. I didn't have a chance to interact with the receptionist or other staff members. They seemed to be busy, but I guess it's also because of the hockey tournament. There's a small pro shop where there were food, drink, and skating related products/services. When we were there, the store was always full, so we didn't get to go inside to explore.Overall, I think it's an okay rink. The primary rink was great, but the two rinks in the annex were not. I hope they can at least keep the rink clean.

A fine venue for a comedy show. The issue I have was with getting out of there after the show was over. The whole locking your phone up in those little pouch things..ridiculous. I understand the reasoning but y'all need a better system for getting them back out. The place was very disorganized or understaffed. The show let out then everyone was packed like sardines trying to get outside to get their phones "free of the pouch". I have never felt any sort of claustrophobia in my life until last night. I was ready to just walk out with the pouches and cut the phones out myself. Next time I know to leave the phones locked in the car or at home. Also, half the beers weren't pouring making the lines for refreshments super long. They had a good amount of foods and snacks at least. The venue was clean and no audio/visual issues. But hope they figure out the other things for the next show!

I came here to volunteer in one of the concessions stands so I didn't get the full experience of being just a customer. I will say that from the concession side of things all the food, drink, and prep area are well kept. So the behind the scenes food area looked good to me. A Colorado College hockey game was going on. I was really surprised to see all the fans in attendance. The arena was pretty full and the concession stand was busy from beginning to end. The seats looks comfortable and padded, the ring looked in great shape, and the crowd was really into the game; I took a volunteer break caught a glimpse of the game for a bit.Minus 3 stars for one reason: The night of the game the arena offered a hot dog deal for a special price. When we ran out of the hot dog, we informed one of the concession stand managers/full-time staff. His response was to sell the smaller hot dogs in the deal and that the customers, "won't know the difference." Luckily myself and all the other volunteers in the concession stand did not agree with this. So we didn't listen to his instructions and let customers know we ran out of the hot dogs in the deal.

Parking situation needs to be greatly improved. Getting in or out of this relatively small venue will be a test of your patients. And the connecting streets do nothing to improve the situation.Very nice employees everywhere. You can tell when someone gives you a sincere smile and welcomes you while looking directly in your eyes. No shortage of that among the workers here.I felt bad for the ladies who had to return to their cars because their purses were too large. Unfortunately they didn't learn this until after they had made the journey across a large parking lot to the entrance. We were there to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for the 5th time. Colorado Springs continues to work through growing pains, however I would not hesitate going back to this venue to see TSO for a 6th time, or any other show I was interested in.
