3.5+ rounded up. Woodland Park is a small town and it's hard to find a room in the area especially during the spring and summer. To be honest, I booked this room months before because it was the only one left. I have no regrets though- located in an awesome area with a beautiful view, this Lodge is within walking distance to a shopping center and fast food joints. It is also less than 3 miles from Charis Bible College which is well known in this area. I was a bit concerned about the checking-in/out hours because a conference I was attending made it impossible to check-in during their specified hours, and their checkout starts at 8am when I needed to checkout hours sooner. Thankfully, they accommodated me and everything worked out. They were super nice about it.Although the cabin I stayed in was clean and roomy, I have to knock a star off because I had no control over the AC unit and it was a bit warmer than I like, warm enough to disturb my sleep. I am trying to take into account though, that it seemed a lot of places in Woodland Park didn't have the AC running and I am from Texas used to it running full blast. Also, breakfast starts way too late; therefore, I couldn't take advantage and had to go out for breakfast everyday. I recommend they consider starting breakfast by 7 am the latest. Overall, I would stay here again, preferably in the winter when I wouldn't have to worry about being too warm OR if I had a RV. There is a RV area behind the cabins, and I would totally consider staying here with a RV.

The woman at the front desk is horrible. She is so rude and clearly doesn't care about costumer service or anything. There was an another woman who used to be here but when they changed owners they let her go and this awful woman stay. Don't expect anything kind or welcoming when you come here. The people who are staying in the rv area are kind and friendly and most of them are long term residents so be aware of that when you come. If it wasn't for the woman working the front desk I would have left a much higher review.

We found this place last minute when looking for cabins Tuesday in rather than a regular hotel room. We were pleasantly surprised by the price and accommodations. We had a two bedroom cabin. One queen size the other with a Twin over full bunk bed. The beds were super comfy. There was also a full kitchen and a couch that laid down into a full-size bed. We stayed for two nights before leaving Colorado. It was very quiet. We enjoyed spending the evening on the front porch playing cards. We were welcomed when checking in and also made breakfast every morning in an adorable lodge at the front of the resort. The lady (sorry bad with names) who checked us in was also at the breakfast bar every morning to make the best waffles we have ever had. No exaggeration...MUST try the waffles. We would definitely stay when in the area again. Way more fun and better value then a boring hotel room.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never experienced someone so rude and unprofessional as Rosie who works the front desk. when we arrived we were told the hot tub usually closes at 6pm but that she would leave it open until dark. So the kids got into their swimsuits and we walk down only to find that the hot tub was locked with a padlock. When I confronted her the following afternoon, she tried to lie and say it was open straight to my face. When I told her she was lying she then said well it was open later than usual and never offered an apology for the inconvenience. We also had to move our car multiple times because the genius who designed the layouts of the cabins only left one compact spot per cabin so if u have an SUV and the other cabin has an SUV you will be forced to move your car when the other cabin wants to leave. Long story short, we paid for two nights and left after the first night. When I asked for a refund, Rosie laughed and said all because you had to move your car a few times huh? The website description was horribly inaccurate, there is no a/c, staff locks everything and leaves at 6pm, and everything in the room is worn out and in disrepair. Really worn out furniture in the rooms, doors did not close and everything was beyond filthy. Do not waste your money staying here.

I love this place. It was difficult to decide on which room I liked better and the tiny homes are so cute. I will be coming back to try one of the tiny houses out. Superb customer service. Thank you for a great stay! I love the lodge and the rustic log cabin decor.

I couldn't wait to get out of this place: the ladies up front acted all nervous when I walked in to check in. They acted uptight and fearful, and answered questions with one or two words. That was the beginning. The place smelled of sitting water and sewer. Filthy. But that wasn't as bad as the old creepy dude who sat around videotaping the women from the comfort of his little porch. So make sure to always look good, in case he's still there indulging himself... lol. Ugh.

We love it here!! We've been full time rving for almost 3 years now and I feel so safe here. Lots to do and THE nicest staff we've EVER seen, by far!! Clean place, laundry, big community wide fire pit. We came for one month in 2023, 2 months this year and 3 months scheduled for next year (2025.). The manager is wonderful!! They're right on it if you need maintenance or any help. One of our favorite places!!!

This was such a disappointment. We found this place online, the website looked good and it was described as a quaint place with scenic views. Ummmm, no. It is literally a trailer park, there are trailers everywhere, where people live permanently. Our view was a construction site, with trash and debris everywhere. There was no air conditioning. And nowhere on their site does it say there is no air-conditioning. We stayed in one of the tiny houses, and even though they were really cute that was about all this place Had going for it. It says there's a hot tub on their site but the hot tub was closed the whole time we were there. There are signs everywhere that say you will be charged $250 if there is smoking of anything in your cabin, even if they smell smoke. Yet every morning when we woke up, we could smell people smoking weed throughout the camp. All of this wouldn't have been a big deal if we were paying around $80 a night but we paid $200 a night and we had to go buy an air conditioner for the time that we were there because the little house was so hot. I made the mistake of not reading reviews on yelp before we booked, won't be making that mistake again! Hopefully this review will help others. We were so sad with our experience. All that being said, Woodland Park, the town that this lodge is in, is absolutely beautiful, and has spectacular views as you're driving through it.

This lodge not only satisfied our desire to spend the night in a cozy cabin in the mountains, but the people we came in contact with are amazing. Genuine and warm, they made our stay. I hate not knowing her name but to the lady that is mailing my prescription contacts all the way to Missouri, thank you!You will not be disappointed in this lodge. Their breakfast is amazing too! Waffles are wonderful!
