We stayed up the street in the Ivywild neighborhood for 5 days and I think I came here everyday for the produce and bakes. The prices are great for the products they carry. Fresh fruit and veggies. LEGIT locally baked fresh breads. Even for a Boulder family, we really appreciate the quality and the nature of the goods in the store. The owner is amazing. She remembers who you are and your story. I can see this place being really special for locals.SUPPORT LOCAL

I have no words for how fantastic this local market is...It is packed with local and organic goods, and also offers a full wine room, and ready-to-eat meals :)We have visited it everyday of our trip! It has been perfect for all our cooking and snacking needs! If you like to shop small and local this is your place. If you're in search of name brands venture elsewhere.

Wow, this place is a hidden gem with plenty of fresh ingredients from local farms it seems? I was only visiting for a short time but came here a few times and checked out the alcohol section as well and picked up local ciders to take home. They were great! And also picked up a pueblo chile, aged cheddar boule and half a french baguette for some soup we had from TJs. The baguette had that beautiful crunch when you squish the bread and the boule had so much flavor of the ingredients--just had a little bit of hard time tasting the sourdough. They also sell the bottled spicy chai, which I'd love to pick some up the next time I'm visiting! They sell just the cup of chai down the street at Homa! Not spicy though, unfortunately.

Super cute story with a surprising amount of options. I walked in wanting to check this super cute store out and left with everything I needed to make my sons lemon bars he wanted instead of cake. There are two separate areas. One for alcohol, which if I was by myself I would have loved to have peruse. I spoke with the sweetest woman up front and left smiling. I love when you can go grocery shopping and not feel it's a chore. I wish I lived closer! I would just walk here and do my shopping.

Realistically, more like 4.5 stars - kind, clean, and local, this mom & pop shop is clearly a shiny spot in a local that didn't seem to offer their services (I mean, I've been here like a week, but I got a feel that there aren't many grocery locations in the area). There were 3 people working when I visited - one on the liquor side and the other 2 on the grocery side. The lady was extremely helpful, they were talkative and welcoming, and let me know they only opened about 8 weeks ago. The location is a little small, but it has the essentials (bread & butter, yeah? I think I just got that pun). They do have a lot of local options and some premade food, as well as a produce section that has some local produce. The lady I spoke with also mentioned that she's happy to take suggestions of what you're looking for to try to add it to their selection when I asked for a certain type of oats (they had a lot of other options from the same brand, just not the oats). All in all, a great little place to peruse that I would love to see flourish in this neighborhood. Give them a visit, especially if you live nearby and have a chance to come by frequently.

Found this new location very disappointing and will not be back. Clean and write and exciting from the outside. Inside - High Priced and very preppy. Liquor store semi attached next door. Expected to find far more Colorado source product than we did based on TV promo we watched. Items we did find with interest were priced very high. A jar of "homemade" green beans was $8.00! Market will not make it without change.

We love this intimate, little grocery store. The staff is always so helpful and will go out of their way to assist in our needs. Living downtown, it's our go-to spot when we need to pick up a few things in-between the major trips to the big stores. Check them out! A lot of local brands and great coffee to choose from!

What a gift to have Bread & Butter Market in the downtown area! There are very few grocery stores in the downtown area (if any), so the Market is filling a gap in Colorado Springs! You can tell the market is curated with care! The shelves are stocked with healthy and delicious options. My husband and I rode our bikes to Bread & Butter to pick up items to make dinner. While the market absolutely has top of the line options and products, we were encouraged to see items across many price points, ensuring accessibility. They also have a great liquor store with wide variety and great selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciate Bread & Butter and what they bring to the downtown area. We plan to purchase groceries from them as often as possible and support this business.

I often go to this market due to the proximity from my neighborhood, but I really don't trust going back. They do have great product and they are local which is great for all communities around but the management is very snobby. I walked in to get just a couple things this morning thinking it would be better than going to a busy grocery store. I was immediately confronted with a disgruntled seemingly angry worker, who may have also been management. The place came alongside several new additions with the area and it just felt like honest gentrification. They don't handle homeless and service dogs very well (which is very common downtown). Also doesn't show much inclusivity to the neighborhood with the prices and the high class organic marketing. Overall this place has the front of a community hub but is just another fake Whole Foods looking to profit off of new residents.
