Tried this food truck today for the first time at the Black Forest backyard market. I was expecting decent food but was pleasantly surprised when it surpassed my expectations. Hands down best Asian fusion food in Colorado Springs. We've been exploring the Asian restaurants in the area and this place is top notch. We got the pork belly rice and beef bulgogi bowls. The meat was tender and flavorful, the bowls were prepared with fresh delicious ingredients and the balance of flavor was perfect. On top of it the customer service was also above normal standards. They were friendly, helpful, and kind, offering recommendations and considerations. We will be returning customers for sure!

I pulled up to this food truck late on Tuesday curious to see what it had to offer. I found an Asian fusion food truck with a great team who were so pleasant to speak to. They explained to me how often they were at this location and were pleasant to talk to. I recommend this truck for the food, convince as they were in my subdivision on a Thursday evening, and the nice atmosphere. I ordered the grilled pork belly rice bowl and the sesame balls and I loved them! The pork was so well cooked and flavored, the carrots were fresh, the pickled onions and kimchi cucumbers were full of flavor. I saved some of the sesame balls for my kids who love Asian treats. I need to try their Lo-mein and lumpia next time. They had multiple ways to pay and I appreciated being able to use venmo or Zelle Vs one of my cards. I know it's an odd detail but I love it when a food truck has a quiet generator. I had to listen for it while I waited for my food. I appreciate not having to shout to hear them and be able to make a phone call while I waited for my food.

Fantastic food, service, and staff. I hosted 25+ people for a work social at Goat Patch Brewery and Bowl in the City was a hit! The appetizers were delicious and arrived promptly and hot. Caleb was great to work with very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this food truck as a caterer. Thanks Bowl in the City!

My goodness! How this only has one review is beyond me. I can only assume it is new, but beyond one of the best asian food trucks I've had in a long time (and I love Asian style food and food trucks, separately). I am sorry I didn't get photos but I demolished everything.Bulgogi Gyro: how have I not thought of or ever had this combination? Probably my favorite thing on the menu which is saying a lot since I loved everything. The pita was so soft and warm and absorbed all of the delicious sauce in the bulgogi. It had the perfect complimentary toppings with some spring mix, tomatoes, kimchi cucumbers, red onion, and this amazing Sriracha aioli sauce with a little kick but mostly creamy and savory. My wife can't do spice but loved that aioli.BBQ pork rice bowl: so good. Pork was perfect. If I'm not mistaken, it was pork belly but a good fat to muscle ratio. Not overly chewy and pretty tender for being less than 50 percent fat. Savory but sweet with the sauce. A little smoke to it from grilling. And the rice was beautifully fluffy but had a great consistency to it and just sticky enough to gather under chopsticks.Beef lo mein - great mix of meat, veggies, and noodles. Noodles were more akin to spaghetti noodles. Awesome chew to them with a very slight al dente texture. The veggie mix was awesome and I'm not usually a fan of the veggies they do in lo mein. Sauce was very good but did not drown the dish. Lumpia - I have had many lumpia and this is up there. Crispy outside and soft and savory inside. The meat was well done and pork based filling was super delicious. I am a stickler for lumpia, and I would absolutely take my Filipino mom and lola to try this classic Filipino dish.Overall, don't sleep on this place. Very affordable. Beyond tasty. The brewery they sell at on Saturdays, Lost Friend, is amazing as well but will save that review for another day. This truck stole the show and hope they get more of a spotlight and plenty more customers. Will make the hour trip to have more of their amazing dishes!

This is BY FAR the greatest Asian Fusion food truck in the Springs and Denver! The food is delicious and authentic, and the owners are fantastic. We used Bowl in the City for our wedding caterer and every single person at our wedding was raving about the food all night! You will not be disappointed!!
