Border Burger Bar

If you are looking for a burger to meet everybody's taste, I highly recommend Border Burger Bar. They had burgers from all over the world that included fish, chicken, shrimp, tuna in addition to the meat patty. It's a small place and they try really hard to keep the flow moving so you don't have to wait too long. But because of this the service was a bit poor for our table. It's a cute little place with a big selection of burgers! Give it a try.

Nestled in the bank of the water in Manitou Spring - this restaurant has fabulous outdoor seating. We were sat promptly. Our server was awesome, very attentive. We started with the cannon balls - mashed potatoes, bacon, cheese and chives deep fried. They were so delicious - a must try!! My husband and I both got burgers. You can tell they're made in-house. They were yummy. They also have fresh cut fries -- my favorite! I upgraded mine to truffle fries. Sadly, they were a bit too oily for my liking. I'd recommend going with the naked fries. Tip: A bagpiper was playing across the water. It was cool for the first few minutes, but after 30 it wasn't. I actually love bagpipes - I grew up listening to my dad playing them. This particular piper is not good. If you get a table outside and he's playing, take my advice and change to a table inside the restaurant. You'll thank me!!

We're greeted from far away as our waitress was wiping off our soon to be table. 0 min wait time after she's finished.She asks if this is our first time at BBB. It is. "Let me tell you my favorites." She shares how she's been working here since high school and loves this place and how everything is fresh, from the ground beef patties, to the cut daily French fries, even the batter the onion rings are fried in.This is the most genuine interaction I've had with anyone in the food service industry. She's real! She's funny! She cares about this place, she wants us to feel how she feels about this place. Made a connection before we even tasted the food.Speaking of food: My wife went with the staple of BBB: The Border Burger, we were warned about it being "spicy" because it has pico and jalapeños on it but us Texans don't shy away from spice. PSSSHH... Those same things are paired with every bowl of queso we've ever eaten..... *slurping sound*... we drank all our water* Man, that combination with the Spicy Aioli, that's got a kick!! So hot and so delicious!! My wife opted for the onion rings, they are phenomenal, the batter on it is crunchy yet thin enough to not take over the onion. Also, they're HUGE! I went with The New Yorker, a buffalo/ranch covered fried chicken. 1. The chicken is delicious! So juicy and flavorful. 2. The buffalo kick was perfect. Mop up the leftover sauce with my French fries? Mmmm don't mind if I do! 3. The bun? More like the ciabatta roll from Heaven! So good!Oh good you've made it to the end. Good! Best part, I'll tell you our waitresses name. When you go to BBB, ask for a seat at one of Betty's tables and ask her what her favorites are.10/10 sending all our Texans here!

The service at this gem in the heart of Manitou Springs was amazing. Our server described that everything they serve was made on location - ie grinding the meat for burgers - shredding cheese for mozzarella sticks. The food was delicious. There was a full bar and several large tables for big parties. We were greeted by the owner, who again shared their brand. Highly recommend!

"Burger" - Ronnie Boy Kids.You can get your burger any way you want here that's for sure. They even had a veggie version (yay) and burger with Macaroni and Cheese, no joke. My son said the mac cheese had no flavor. I hear that high altitude does affect your taste buds, however, and we came from an elevation of 1,066 (Hawaii) to Manitou Springs 6,412 ft, making the taste buds less sensitive to salt, and even walking around there made us huff and puff, so we knew we were high up!Food was pretty good. Service was pretty good. Ambience was just fine. I've read the food here was pretty greasy but our food was OK on the day we visited. Mac-n-cheese burger $16.45 -7/10 starsThe Oregon veggie burger $13.95 - 7/10 starsThe Memphis pulled pork $14.95 - 8/10 starsthe onion rings that came with everything else was a solid 9/10 starsWhite sangria $7.00 - 7/10 stars, pretty good overall.Value was 7/10 stars overall. Return factor - definitely will try other things on the menu if we ever come back to Manitou Springs!

Great food and fantastic service. Our waitress was really good. The sandwich is really spicy so if you don't like heat, stay away. Ranch dressing and a ice cold beer would have made the burger even better. I would definitely eat again!!

Our friends took us to try this place. DELICIOUS! The best fried cheese I've ever had! They have a large selection of burgers. The beef is freshly ground every day for the burgers. We all tried a different burger and all were very good. Our waiter was very friendly and always had a smile on his face.

We saw the Yelp reviews and thought this would be an ideal stop for lunch. We had great service. Nice restaurant. Lots of windows to people watch!We stopped on Christmas Eve around noon. we both ordered a spicy bloody Mary and they were good. although spicy is a bit much for me. I got the chicken avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very Yummy!Would come back again.

Border Burger Bar is a nice little burger joint in Manitou Springs. The restaurant has a homey/lodge feeling and it wasn't too busy when we went. An interesting thing about this restaurant is that if you order a soft drink, it comes in a huge cup!In terms of food, the quantities were enough (we had some leftovers to take home).Food we ordered:- Garden Burger- Elk Burger- Kids Meal: Grilled Cheese- Frisco Burger- Border burger (signature burger)Suggestions for Improvement:I think that the Border Burger Bar should consider adding more vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free items in the menu, as there wasn't a huge variety. The options that they currently had were okay, but if you're someone who doesn't like spicy burgers, your options are even more limited.

A wonderful place to stop to grab some burgers and bites after visiting Garden of the Gods! Their menu was incredible with so many delicious burger options. Their Cannon Balls appetizer was also amazing - 10/10 would recommend this dish! Only thing to note is that we went on a busy night and it took a while for a server to take our order (including waters/drinks). This was a little frustrating but luckily the food came out really quick and we weren't left hungry!
