Boonzaaijer's Dutch Bakery

What can be better on a winter morning? Fresh pastries, hot coffee, warm scents of freshly baked bread, cinnamon rolls, fruit tarts and huge cream puffs? Parking is a bit tricky but worth driving around the block waiting for an opening. Service is fast, inside seating is abundant.

The true European pastry shop, the eclairs and napoleon are AMAZING!!! Don't get me started on the bread, omg it's to die for. The staff...the poor girl looked upset but other than that the baked goods are phenomenal!

How do you say, "a little piece of heaven" in Dutch? Everything about the bakery is wonderful. The staff is everything. They always treat you well; they're always smiling; helpful, knowledgeable. And the product is perfection. Presentation, ingredients and flavor. Even the two things that are not quite perfect are perfect. Parking and being closed Sundays. Don't change anything! I'm thrilled they're not open Sundays. I have to plan ahead! I love it. And parking is tight because everyone loves them!

My husband and I still love visiting Boonzaaijer's Dutch Bakery whenever we're in the mood for delicious homemade pastries to enjoy with our coffee. My favorites remain the chocolate almond croissants and coffee cake, while my husband continues to enjoy their danish snails.Unfortunately, their website no longer accepts online orders for delivery or pickup, which can be a bit inconvenient given my busy lifestyle. However, ordering by phone or in-person is still an option.We also often stop by to pick up a package of pastries when we have guests staying over, and they always receive raving compliments on the treats.I continue to highly recommend this place to my family and friends.

I cannot say enough good things about Boonzaaijer's Dutch Bakery! Their pastries and baked goods are simply amazing--each bite is a delightful experience. I'm currently working with them for my wedding cake, and it has been a fantastic journey. Not only is the cake absolutely delicious, but it's also the most affordable option I found by a mile.The service is attentive and quick, making every visit pleasant. The ambiance feels homey, adding to the charm of this wonderful bakery. The Dutch market is a nice touch, offering unique items that enhance the overall experience.While I did feel a bit nickel-and-dimed during the cake tasting experience, it's understandable given how reasonably priced the cake itself is. The quality and value they offer are unmatched.One thing to note is that parking can be a bit challenging, especially during busy times, but it's a small inconvenience for such an exceptional bakery. Boonzaaijer's Dutch Bakery is a true gem, and I highly recommend them for any of your bakery needs!

I always end up getting more goodies than I planned for. Everything I've had has been amazing! This is a spot that I occasionally drop in for a treat to myself! Yum

My hubby stopped and got me a few treats for Valentine's Day today. Sadly something was very off with today's sweets. The carrot cake was dry and seemed like it was at least a day or two old sponge. He got me the pastry creme and fruit croissant, and had the croissant been plain it would have been delicious but the cream had a metallic aftertaste and the kiwi was past its prime. The fruit tart was made with the pastry cream so it had the same metallic aftertaste. My husband had the bread pudding and he said it was ok, but dry. The one delightful item was a loaf of challah bread that was in fact fresh.I don't think we will return.

We were able to pick up a lovely delicious cake last minute. It smells amazing in there.

Walking in you are greeted by the most heavenly smell you can imagine. The treats/bakery items are next level and even have numerous gluten free options for me! Getting a speciality drink/caffeine fix is also a must as they have non dairy options and a HUGE variety of drinks! Must check out the shop there too! I love bringing treats to my marketing events and clients...it's such a perfect gift!

Delish pastries, cakes and pies made in the tradition of the old world. I especially like their sausage rolls.
