Bonny Hy-Land Liquors

Went in tonight and none of the gentlemen behind the counter were wearing masks. It's up to employers to provide masks to their employees, especially in a smaller store. Made me feel uncomfortable as every other store in Pueblo has their employees and customers masked up and are taking precautions to slow the spread.

Pueblo is a sleeeeeepy town. This place seems to cater to a specific clientele who prefer bud light, cheap vodka, yellowtail merlot, boxed wine and cigarettes. Being used to CA liquor laws where you can buy groceries and wine at the same location, it feels odd to go to a store for liquor only. Regardless, the selection here was rather disappointing. My husband was looking to purchase some local CO whiskey, and they only carried one low end brand. I was looking for a bottle of wine and didn't see anything over a $15 price point. But, due to it being 9:15 pm we didn't want to chance not finding another store open. I selected a $10 red blend that I knew would be "drinkable", he found a local double IPA that was very good. The hunt will continue tomorrow (at a different store) for CO whiskeys to bring home with us....

Went in there a couple of times. Competitively priced in the microbrew category as other stores in town. Semi standard selection but they don't rotate the beers enough to correspond with the expiration date. My only advice, pay attention to recommended beer consumption date before purchase. Tons of domestic beer, like another person said, to cater to clientele in the area.

They have very rude employees and managers. I went in there a few weeks ago with 500 dollars in cash. I was going around the store to price things (this was the first time I was spending more than 20 dollars on liquor) when I was told rudely by Ms. Hy-Land herself, "Get out of my store. If you don't know what you want, then get out of my store." I have gone there several times, but this time was different because of the extra money so I had no problem leaving. I then came back a few days later after figuring out what I wanted from there. Right when I walk in the door, she says, "Get out of my store. You never buy anything." I then replied, "I bought things from you before, it was just I had to price things last time. You said to get out of your store if I don't know what I want. I'm here just for a bottle of rum." She rudely kept shaking her head and she then said, "If you don't get out of my store right now, I'm calling the cops." I left her store again. I am NEVER going back to that store. She had no right to be rude to me. There would have been several nicer ways to go about that. If they are going to tell a regular customer to get out because they never buy anything, then they don't deserve my business. I would NOT recommend using this liquor store. I would go sober before using this store again

Charged my card twice for a bottle of Whiskey. I called store to get partial refund. They refused. Scummy...won't ever be going there again.

Based liquor store. Right next to my house and the employees are chill as hell. Coming in here makes me feel like I'm home!
