Visiting town and decide to try this place based off Yelp suggestions. Easy access from HWY 24 and ample parking. We did not have a reservation but were seated promptly. Our waitress Monet suggested cocktails and we were off and running. My wife had the toasted old fashioned and I tried the smoked cherry old fashioned. Could have used another shot in mine but the flavors were great, very much enjoyed the drinks. My wife tried the banana bread old fashioned and really enjoyed that as well. As the name suggests, the charcuterie boards were a priority for us so we tried the Abe Former. It. Was. Awesome. It was so delicious. I do not eat pickled stuff usually and I NEVER eat mushrooms, ever. I ate the pickled veggies and the mushrooms were amazing. So delicious. My favorite was the rattlesnake and rabbit sausage with a slice of pickled onion, a pickled mushroom and smoked cream cheese. Amazing!!!For our entrees my wife tried the crab cakes and I had the 12 hour beef rib. Both were ok but we could have done without the sauces on both. Wish I had tried the meatloaf or they had the Bourgeon (it wasn't ready for the night). We will deck be back to try more, we just weren't fans of the mustard sauces on the entrees. 4.7/5. Solid restaurant. Even better waitress! Come visit us in AK!

We came to Boards and Barrels yesterday for lunch on our way to Cripple Creek ... for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We took forever to decide what to order because the menu is amazing. I want to eat my way through the entire menu. Probably can't happen because they change the menu every couple months. We finally decided to share the Farmer Charcuterie board. It was beautiful when it arrived at the table. The selections on the board were absolutely not your typical meat and cheese board. Everything was incredibly prepared. The curry cauliflower was amazing and I want to make this at home and live on it. I've never seen my husband enjoy a blueberry and neither of us could get enough of the pickled blueberries ... just incredible. Two different terrines ... so delicious!! Just perfect! We loved it so much that we ditched plans for lunch at a different establishment today on our way home and returned for Sunday brunch. My husband had the sausage skillet and I had the crab, spinach and artichoke omelette. Both were so delicious. Every member of the staff was polite, friendly and absolutely professional. The service honestly could not be better. The prices were fair, better than a lot of places. And the portions are not small. The food is beautiful and soooo good. I can't wait to return!

Great experience with my bride last night pave was packed so glad we made reservations I had left a message and they did call back to confirm Server Mackenzie was as fantastic as well was the food and it's preparation Salmon and Elk medallions cooked to perfection!!!Highly highly recommend!!!!

If you are looking for somewhere to chill, relax, and enjoy some amazing food. You need to make a stop here. When we are greeted at the door we ask to sit on the outside patio. We love being able to sit outside with the amazing views. It's calming, and relaxing. If you are from Co. you know when the sun goes down it can get a little chilly. So as we go into fall make a note to bring a jacket whether you use it or not, you are prepared. On to the food, they have weekly specials or you can order from the menu. We like trying something new every time we go. Appetizer, we had the Smoked Bison Nachos. Entrees, Blueberry BBQ Glazed Meatloaf (I'm not a fan of carrots so I sub for spinach) and Herb Grilled Pork Tenderloin. Dessert, the special for me Blackberry Apple Crisp (So good and not too sweet) and Homemade Rum Mango Ice Cream ( my husband's favorite). The staff is always great! 4 people from table ordered soup, all soups came out cold/lukewarm. One of the people in our party ordered additional chicken to salad, that didn't come out till half the party left and we were getting ready to pay. Rest of the parties food was OK, we are from Miami so maybe we were expecting better food for the price but that's not the case. Drinks were good, props to bartenders.

Great spot in Woodland Park...vast app menu and excellent sandwich, burger and entree menu from exotic game like bison to standard bistro fare but everything was excellent! Great view small indoor dining area.

Living 45 minutes WSW of Woodland Park, it is so nice not to have to go to the Springs for an upscale dining experience. we have visited 3 times and have never been disappointed. This is now our go to restaurant when out of town friends visit.
