Awesome family run spot with amazing service. The river side patio is perfect for a mellow beer après river or ride.

Great local shop. Always friendly,quick and knowledgeable. My wife and I bring our bikes in anytime we have an issue. Matt and the crew will keep you on the trails and it's nice being able to grab a cold beer while you're in the shop!

These guys are great. Every staff member I ran into was incredibly kind and helpful. I came in this shop about 5 times in a 2 day stay at BV. They did bike repairs for my wife and my son. When my son's bike got two flat tires and we didn't have the tools to fix it, they worked us in and got us back in the trails in about 20 minutes. They turned our misfortune into a pleasurable experience. They even gave great food recommendations!

My review takes a little different stance, but speaks to the caring and integrity of an employee named Jed. On Monday, 9/21 my husband was riding his Niner in the bike lane on Main, when a hit and run driver turned right into him. The driver backed up over the front of his bike, and drove away. My husband's leg was shattered, and required extensive surgery the following day in Salida to insert a Titanium rod. We were visiting from Boulder, and I had to figure out how to get the front wheel off so it would fit in our truck. The bolt was sheared down, making removal very difficult. Jed spent quite a bit of time (of course, always helping others as they came in for rentals), and finally removed the wheel. He was so kind and generous, and that enabled me to easily load the bike into the back of the truck for transport. Thank you!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My bike was caked in dirt and staff let us use hose to wash off bike and refill our water bottles for no charge! Thanks so much!

Great Bike Shop, super friendly staff. I broke my seat on the trails south of town and rode my bike down to the shop. They sold me a seat and installed it on the spot. Love this place.

Black Burro is great. A friend and I were planning some bikepacking in the area and they were incredibly helpful in giving us recs and advice on the local trails. Unfortunately my buddy got injured prior to the trip but they were super chill and flexible with our rental reservation. Will definitely be back next time I'm in BV and need a bike, advice, or just a beer!
