BJ's Velvet Freez

This place is a classic small-town type drive-thru restaurant that also has a walk-up window for ordering. When you visit BJ's, you're transported back in time. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Delicious treats, both savory and sweet, hot and deliciously cold and creamy.

Delicious soft serve ice cream. I never tried their other foods. Quick service by a young workforce. They are always pleasant.

This ice cream spot is busy and parking could be a bit challenging, but it's worth the wait. Their drive-thru line was also long but it seemed to move fast. This place is nostalgic where you could get a good burger, fries and dessert all in one place.There's a lot of different options for desserts... cones, shakes, malts, floats, sundaes and more. We tried the strawberry shortcake, peanut delight and my littles got the cones. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of them and it still tasted great. We want to go back to try their dipped cones and other goodies.

They have a place in my heart because I've been coming here since I was a kid! They have so many unique dip cone flavors, but I always find myself getting the blue Raspberry! It does melt kinda fast, so be sure to eat it quickly! This is a great summertime stop due to the outdoor seating and string lights giving you the classic drive-in experience! They are a family owned place, so you are supporting a local business, and that makes the service wonderful because they are proud and thriving!

I have enjoyed ice cream here a few times and had one of their delicious corn dogs. Prices are great for the amount of ice cream you get. Plenty of options of fried food items, burgers, and ice cream treats.

Was driving around Colorado Springs last night and saw this spot. They had a line stretching into the parking lot. I pulled over and yelp'ed them. Then one of the locals said it's a local favorite. So I came back for lunch. I ordered the BJ's Special Combo: double cheeseburger w/ fries. The burger was good! Sloppy, just like I like it! The fries were on the salty side. Had it not been for the salt. They would have been good. I topped it off with a small twist w/ rainbow sprinkles!

Always worth the wait. I used to come after tennis practice as a kid and recently brought my husband here for his first time and we got a hot dog and ice cream. He loved it!

In the drive through for almost an hour and no way to get out of line or leave. Called and asked if there's anything that can be done and was told no. Literally trapped. What a horrible customer experience and service. No apology or explanation.

The best soft serve ice cream in the springs! The fries are pretty good too. Definitely worth the wait, the line is always long!
