Bite Me Gourmet Sausage

So to preface this review, I have been to Munich, the heart of Bavaria, where sausage stands and even restaurants are a staple in the region. Currywurst Bratwurst, any type of wurst imaginable and it's amazing.I didn't think that heading to Buffalo Lodge on a Friday afternoon and seeing a food truck with sausages would ever bring me back to the amazing times I had in Germany. Bite Me, however, absolutely brought me back to a time where I was frolicking in Germany and even proposed to my lovely wife.The quality of the sausage is evident on the first bite. The snap that engulfs the sausage is not only perfect and shows that the sausage was perfectly cooked but speaks to the outstanding ingredients. The texture alone was perfect, it reminded me of a fresh adouille, straight from the kitchen of a New Orleans MeeMaw in the 9th ward. The curry cream cheese shocked me at first because I wasn't sure where the cream cheese was, then when I asked for a second dollop, I realized that this was the ingredient that made The Troy absolutely pop. It was immaculate, the flavor wasn't gamey, it tasted fresh and well ground when making the sausage. The grilled onions were addicting, and the perfect texture. Bite Me was kind enough to provide my wife and I with some extra curry cream cheese to add a kick to the food we make.Overall, absolutely outstanding food, friendly service, and a meal that brought me back to the happiest time of my life.

Food truck that travels to several locations throughout the week. Friday night they can be found outside Smiling Toad Brewery.I had the grilled cheese sandwich, which was truly delicious. It had bacon in it...although I did not taste bacon. It was fine by me, I am not a hardcore fan of bacon, but if you are you may want to keep that in mind. Their products are healthier than most. No nitrites, steroids, hormones or fillers...which is what 95% of sausages are made with.

The BEST wings I've ever had. Great people running that truck. Please, search them out and enjoy their menu!You will not be disappointed!!!

This business was at Manitou Springs Heritage Brew Fest on 9/18/21. First time we had ever heard of them and we only frequented their food truck during this event. My boyfriend got the Elise, he said it was phenomenal. I got the regular hot dog with yellow mustard and it was tasty. We will definitely be trying their food again.

Got 2 sausages (1 veggie), potato salad and the wings. First let me start by saying it's totally awesome they offer veggie sausages and even more importantly my GF said it was one of the best she's ever had. Now let me go to the meat of the review, the brat was good and left little to be desired but the WINGS! I could easily right a doctoral thesis statement about these wings but let me save you the time; they are the most tender, perfectly seasoned wings you'll have this side of the Mississippi. If you stumble across this place GET THE WINGS!

Soooo yummy! We had the Ruben, the Sheldon and a third sausage which were all delicious, BUT the wings are to die for!

Again, here is a food truck that I have been able to eat at more than once or twice. I think I like it more and more each time. Growing up in the midwest in the land of milk, beer, cheese, and sausage, I can be a bit of a sausage snob. Nothing wrong with these folks sausages. They have one sausage that is just huge. I was pleased to find it also tasty.

For real the best wings I've ever had in my LIFE!!!! For real. Can't give more love to this joint. Great great food. Will definitely be stalking them around town.

Elise was fantastic, big soft bun housed all the delicious ingredients beautifully! Yum!

SO SLOOOOW! Not warning upon order that the wait will be "30 minutes." But actually, a full hour instead. Never again.
