Nice little lake that is kept fairly clean of litter & dog poop. Poop bags are available around the path. Often times see birds of prey and great horned owls. One of my favorite neighborhood walks.

Love this beautiful place. It really is a nice area with very few people. Great place for a quick workout or for fishing. My toddler and I love the park at the one end. We have seen several people catch some fish. My stroller did great here, only slightly bumpy on the gravel.

My 17 month old son and I came to Bingham Lake to walk our dog last week. What a hidden gem. Highly recommend for a toddler walk because it is so short, but pretty. Pack a snack and enjoy the playground across the street from the parking lot afterwards. This is a 1.2 mile trail around a pond in a residential neighborhood next to a scenic golf course. There is a parking lot so you won't need to park on the road. We saw 2 bucks and lots of birds. The trail is packed gravel, no pavement. So okay if you have a nice stroller, but not super smooth. There is a section of the trail with a beautiful outlook over the golf course with mountains in the background. It was not crowded, just a few dog-walkers who were doing laps. My son and I will be back with our Stoutybear.

The park is clean and well maintained. The trails is also well maintained. They need regular bathrooms, not a nasty port"o"potty that is on the verge of overflowing. I came here to give an honest review of the fishing conditions. As a fisherman with well over two decades of experience across the country fishing, I tried my hand here a few times recently despite the poor reviews. Firstly, it gets crowded in the evenings with folks looking to fish after work. Then we had roving bands of local neighborhood kids on their bikes fishing and snagging baby bass thinking it's ok. IT'S NOT. Had another older fella with two boys fishing for bait (blue gills) and loading them all up into a small bucket, they were all too small to eat, so he is probably using them as live or cut bait for catfishing somewhere else. Another individual was catching small bass and announcing it regularly, putting them on a stringer saying they are "good eatin". No sir, not they are not, not at that size. This is why fisheries around CO are in poor condition. Nobody releases anything in the lakes and reservoirs here. Aside from that, nobody was catching anything. I was able to visually confirm that there are bass in there, but they are baby sized to maybe 14 inches tops. There are also large grass carp in there. The water conditions are clear but lots of green algae "slime" all over everything. If Douglas County would manage the lake better, stock it regularly and place strict limitation on people that want to keep out of here, it would be a better place to fish. I would personally love to see more channel cats being stocked in lakes like this. A place like this, if well stocked and maintained would be a great starting point younger generations to learn to fish properly and actually catch something! To those that fish out these places, STOP IT. Learn to C&R.
