This is an update to my original post-Original post-I was raised that if you break something, you replace it, and I live by that motto, but Bill's Rental are charging me for routine maintenance that should be done on their equipment and telling me that I damaged their equipment.I rented a 6x12, dual axle trailer with a max capacity of 4,000 lbs. I used the trailer for a roll of artificial turf that was 500 lbs. (see picture). After I return the trailer I was told that I caused damage. They send me pictures of a rusted and broken shackle strap (see picture). Anyone that knows trailers will tell you that these need to be replaced for routine maintenance or need replaced if someone puts too much weight in the trailer. The damage waiver that we pay covers routine maintenance and wear and tear but they are claiming that I caused the damage. There is no other damage to the trailer.I'm questioning this extra bill of $430 that they are hitting me with and Brian (downtown store manager) tells me they are going to send me to collections and that I won't be able to rent from them again.That's where I stand now. Still trying to resolve this issue I called back to talk to someone higher than the manager and I'm waiting to hear back from Hunter.Update-After multiple calls to try and resolve this, I get a call from Brian. He said that it was determined that the damage was due to wear and tear and that I do not owe them anything, and that I can rent from them again. While I am relieved that I do not have to deal with collections, I am still not satisfied with the way they handled this situation. They were quick to place blame and were quick to say they were sending me to collections by me just questioning these extra charges. There was no apology offered for the misunderstanding. Oh well, this was just a lesson about where to take my business in the future.

We rent equipment here all the time. Knowledgeable staff , fair prices, and friendly. I definitely recommend them all the time to people needing to rent equipment. Just remember the earlier you can reserve equipment ahead of time the more likely you are to get what you need when you need it. But even on short notice they have gone out of their way to make sure we get what we need.

never again will I be ripped off by this company there web site advertise a concrete grinder for a $100 for 4 hours but they don't tell you it's going to cost $75 for the bits! who rents a grinder without bits? no one and then I was only gone for 2 hours with the machine and got no kind of credit for returning it early there's plenty of other places to rent from so don't get ripped off by this company

These guys saved the day when a freak snow storm threatened to ruin the outdoors memorial for my Mother. They got me set up with a generator and two industrial heaters which kept us warm, their price came in less than quoted, they helped get the equipment on and off the trailer under a time crunch (on a Sunday morning no less when most other places are closed) and were courteous and friendly at a tough time. All the party rentals in town were out of standard patio heaters (one of the military bases booked all of them weeks before for a big event) and yet I'm sure equipment we got from Bill's was superior at keeping the cold out.Be sure to bring a dog biscuit or two for Dozer and Skeeter the charming lot dogs.

Friendly staff and great tools! I rented an aerator, and they loaded it into my and unloaded it the minute I returned! Very reasonable prices, as well!

Bill's tool rental is filled with top quality service. Deep was the best at making sure the customer was taken care of, and after working all day in 90+ degree weather he helped us to some cold refreshing water before getting back out into the sun. Their prices for tool rental are very reasonable and they will make sure that you are using the right equipment for the right job. I'm thoroughly satisfied with Bill and his staff. Great job guys!

I originally had some problems with the skid that I rented with them. It wasn't there fault, equipment can sometimes act up. Dan at Bill's tool rental fixed the issue very promptly. I would highly recommend Bill's tool rental for any equipment needs.
