I came to do a drop off of Purina animal feed. They took 6 pallets of food off in about 15 minutes. The manager Dave and the entire staff are SO FRIENDLY. I was working the day after Thanksgiving sale and I explained to Dave and he backdated the 20% sale for me. Extremely satisfied and happy he did that. So working and Christmas shopping today at BIG R today, will pay off. Thank you Dave for having such a productive and nice to shop at.

Friendly service during Covid. Came on "old fart" Senior day for my 10% off. This location always friendly. Great selection of many different items for your home or sweet tooth. We come on senior day just to see what we don't need at home!

I'm disappointed that they don't do a better job enforcing the mask mandate. There are no signs on the doors telling people to mask up and about half the customers were not wearing masks when I was as there. I asked an employee why and she told me that wearing masks is merely mandated and not a law. A mandate is NOT a suggestion, take it or leave it. It is a requirement for doing business. I guess I'll need to find another place to buy my birdseed as I will not be returning anytime soon.

I'm sick of this store. Can't get decent Timothy or grass hay. Prices missing from merchandise, making me waste time getting price checks. They keep moving all the feed around - more time wasted looking for stuff. No cowgirl hats. And today - after waiting ten minutes at the grass area, got a wet bale of straw for fresh goat bedding!****update****I made the big mistake of returning to this big r today. The item I purchased rung up incorrectly and when I mentioned it to the cashier....she just proceeded.I went along, because I didn't want to hold up the line for what was maybe my mistake. After, I went back to check, and found I was correct. At least three employees became aware of the overcharge. After waiting a few minutes at the register, I finally asked someone who was not with a customer, who had their back to me, if she could help me. She turned around and said: IS THIS ABOUT THE PIG FOOD?Ridiculous - she knew what I was standing there for, and would only fix it until I asked for help. Then after jumping through hoops, and wasting time, no one was sympathetic AT ALL, nor did anyone apologize for overcharging me or having to wait so long - not the girl who fixed it, nor the original cashier, nor the manager. No one said thank you or have a nice day.

This location is one of many. They have a huge selection of farm, home and garden supplies. It is well lit with lots of friendly and helpful employees. Plenty of parking also,The best part: a customer lounge with free coffee and fresh-popped popcorn in small bags. Who does that?

Absolutely a disaster of a store. Manager was obviously at home asleep.Went there after church today no sign of handicapped parking but plenty of shopping carts all over the place to avoid. Looked over where the forklifts were and saw two people smoking. Shouted over to them about the shopping carts and got the finger back. Tried the front door to the south it was locked much to my disappointment and the gentlemen behind me in a wheel chair with two service dogs. Finally got inside and was happy that there were a few (8) shopping carts as the rest were in the parking lot. Went to get some dog food and noticed a group of kids on their cell phone in the aisle talking and didn't think much about it. Found what I needed and headed to the cash register where only one was open and I was the 9th in line. Finally some more people showed up to the registers and they were the same kids talking on there phone. Wow how low can a store go? By far the biggest joke this week....

I bought a swamp cooler in the summer of 2021 that never worked properly. I came in and informed the manager that they sold me a $600 piece of junk. She took my number and said she would call when they restocked. I knew she would never call and of course, she didn't. Within a month the fan motor burned out on me and now I have to spend another $150 on a new motor. So, i now have a $750 swamp cooler that has never worked and is a complete waste of space. Thanks management at Big R. I hope you enjoy robbing poor people of their hard-earned money.

Needed new work boots to provide protection. Sales associate recommended a pair of boots that reasonably comfortable. When got to work taped my pants legs to the boots, less than 2 hrs was full of pieces of straw. Was getting into the boots from the bottom of the tongue.tried to return them with receipt they refused saying sorry the boots didn't meet my standards.I bought much cheaper pair of work boots from walmart have not had any problems.I dont normally do this but the boots did not protect my feet. They dont stand behind what they sale, and recommend.
