Big R of Falcon

This has been our go to feed store for our livestock for 13 yrs. and supplier of my Carhartt clothing. We also buy ammo from here. Always have what we need and customer service is decent. Good old fashion country store.

This is a pretty cool store. Enter the store and to the left is a wonderful selection of guns and ammo, continue through the store and they have everything one would need for the house, garden, sports, car, bbq, etc.. I was on a quest to get some Meat Church rub for some ribs I was smoking for my sisters birthday. I wondered around the store for a bit trying to find the rubs when I finally broke down and asked for directions (surrendered my man card). "Near the register in the front of the store" says the manager. I scurry up front as if I am afraid others might be in the store to get the last bottles. Luckily they have Holy Gospel and another favorite KC Butt in stock. I purchase both and dart to the regsiter. They rang up my order and I see they charge me a dollar more than what it is advertised for. A whole dollar? Crap, nobody gets away with overcharging me a dollar. The clerk ringing me up is training and needs to bring the manager in to override the sale. This takes awhile, seems like years and finally it is corrected and I am on my way. Big R is a five star store but I had to reduce them to 4 stars for their attempt to overcharge me by 1 whole dollar. WTH, they trying to make their month end on me? In the end I got my products at a good price and left the store knowing I will return someday to buy something again. Big R "rocks" Falcon, CO.

No frills, easy quick pit stop for women's work boots, pants and jackets. Variety of fully stocked men's and women's clothing apparel. My definite go to for Carhartt!

I don't know if it's become a prerequisite at this particular location to have a terrible attitude in order to be hired but it sure seems that way. I've have never experienced more consistent snarky, rude and outright disrespectful service from cashiers anywhere in my life. These young women you employ here need to be talked to about this extremely unprofessional behavior.

I was in the area and decided to check out Big R because I have never been in one. Let's start with the cute little area for customers to have a seat and have coffee. What an amazing concept!! That is very customer oriented. Upon entering, I was greeted by an employee with a smile offering help. I didn't need any at the time as I was just going to browse around, but then found myself wanting to look at their bee supplies. There's always a friendly face wherever you turn so getting help was super easy. I didn't particularly need anything for my hives, but who doesn't like to peruse for potential needs, right??!! Well, they did have hand cranked honey extractors that I have been eyeing. They had a plastic version and the stainless steel with a stand version, but I still need to give it thought because those extractors are not cheap nor do I need one right now. But now, I know where to get one locally. I did need some gardening gloves but I have very small hands and am either a ladies XS or a child's XL, but with different brands, they fit differently. They don't sell ladies XS, but the child's XL fit perfectly and it was less expensive than the ladies gloves. Score!!Not only is the staff super friendly and helpful, Big R also offers free samples of high quality dog food. So love it here!

Excellent service, excellent communication and great selection of tires and various of prices which is nice.

People need to realize that big R is not like Walmart employees at Big R have to learn a lot on the products that they sell what they're used for. Unlike Walmart. Who will hire anybody even if they have no common sense and they don't even try to learn their products. Big R people try very hard to learn the different products, what they're used for, what they carry and so on. So if you go to Big R and you're looking for something specific, you first need to know what you need, what it is for. Because if you don't know then it's kind of hard to explain it to one of the people working there what you actually need. They try very hard to help and they are very knowledgeable. They try hard. The assistant managers make the place great in all the stores, they do so much of the customer service! They support the 4h clubs and other clubs for youth groups and rescues.

Great place, great selection, but they need 2 more handicap carts. Please They have room for three where the other one sits that is always in use.

They are fine if you want clothing. They have no parts to speak of. Nothing a farmer or rancher needs. Sometimes they have nuts and sometimes bolts, rarely do they have both of the same size. THESE ARE CORPORATE STORES AND ARE REQUIRED TO TOW THE COMPANY LINE. Most of the employees know corporate is extremely incompetent. They are just as frustrated as customers but their hands are tied. Tried contacting corporate and they don't care at all. This company is doing its best to go bankrupt. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. If you do go in get what you need and if you are debating about getting it, expect it to not be there next week. Try to be nice to the employees they are just people trying to pay their bills with corporate overlords who force them to do stupid stuff. Blame the people responsible CORPORATE they are the most ineffective upper management since ENRON.
