This is a nice little library on the southwest side of Denver near the city of Sheridan and the Bear Creek park and trail. Its a 2 story building with the main study and reading section on the upper level. At the time of my visit the parking lot was not crowded and the homeless people inside were peaceful and quiet, mainly just looking somewhere to get out of the mid day summer heat. An interesting point of this location was the free snacks by the front door and not just any snacks but healthy snacks such as veggies and yogurt. Good place to come to read, do homework or catch up on business.

I have always enjoyed this library. It's a smaller library but it's laid out really well. Getting a library card is really easy and worth the nominal effort to get one. This library does a really good job interfacing with the local community. Especially when it comes to children and children's reading events. Computer access is easy and I've never had a problem getting on a computer when I've needed to. The staff is extremely pleasant and the building is very clean. I used to do to the downtown library but that library had developed a severe homeless problem and they continually find needles and other trash in the bathrooms. I avoid downtown in general now. This library has none of those problems and is clean and quiet. It's on a decent neighborhood and there is alway safe and readily available parking right next to the building. This is my library of choice in SW Denver

Nice enough. Was a small library. They don't let guests use the computers like every library I've been to in Denver (I just moved here and I don't have a library card yet or an address to get one).

The staff is very informative and helpful! We rent lots of recent movies and books from the library every week. They have coffee and donuts on Saturday mornings! It's awesome. They have a summer program for children which we enrolled my boyfriends son in. He listened to an audio book and read two books on his own, which is much better than the computer all summer. Once he completed his activities he won prizes which was a great experience for all of us! Always a great visit!

Love it even more after the renovation! The staff is always helpful and friendly. Some of DPL's circulation policy is wonderful, for example, patrons can check out newest periodicals (although I wish the check out period would be longer than just 1 week). They give one grace day for overdues which is very reasonable. The RFID self check out machines work beautifully most of the time, I would hope in the near future they can implement the feature for patrons to key in their library card number if they forgot to bring the card.

Ok, ok I guess I should finally review this place since I check in all the time. I stumbled upon this library because my company is doing an event here. The service is hit or miss when it comes to booking a venue. Some people know their stuff...others, well, not so much.I like the second floor of the library the best because it is nice and bright. They have a huge selection and most of the time there is always someone working that is willing to help. I have found, from their online database, that they do not have a lot of "hot off the press" books, so I will have to utilize their hold system soon.

We came here 1 year. We love this place. Everything and everyone is so gentle. We love story time on Monday and Wednesday. You should come in if you have little kids. Thank you!

Friendly library, pretty clean. Mostly quiet people. I come here mostly to get work done. Wifi is strong and reliable. Kids programming sounds like they are having fun but I don't have kids, so I don't know.Unlike other libraries, no headphones to use... you can buy them for $1. Or you can go sit in your car and use the wifi from the parking lot. They cite health reasons, but I'm certain nothing is as gross as shared keyboards. Anyway. Thought that was weird and worth sharing if you are used to the JeffCo or Arapahoe/Douglass County libraries that will give you those big padded headphone things.Would be nice if there were more table/chair areas for working; sometimes hard to find a place. Upstairs could use a flyswatter during the summer months.

This is one of the best libraries in Denver system. The staff are very helpful. The selection is great. I didn't like the remodel as much as other people do. There is very little comfortable seating. The ledges, stools and chairs are not very good for older people like myself.I wish the DVD section was designed better. It is very difficult to reach and view the top and bottom shelves.I love using the DPL online database and I put holds on items before I go to the library. It saves me so much time.
