Food was surprisingly delicious. It's right next to the mountain. After skiing, snowboarding, or tubing, this place is a great place to get some sun and to watch everyone come down the slopes. The food was unexpected good and of good quality.Service was nice and it was just a fun hang out spot.

Cute little Aesthetic coffee shop. One of my favorites besides the Jerome hotel. Sit outside if you can and enjoy their cute décor. Coffee I love their lattes

We started out wanting lunch across the street at White Tavern, but found an hour plus wait, and happily walked directly across the street to immediately find our own little cubby at Bear Den Aspen. This cozy Parisian white walled shabby chic adobe is atmospheric, and a good stop in Aspen for brunch, and lunch (beautiful salads here with watermelon radish and handmade quinoa cakes, breakfast-y looking burritos and sandwiches.) My egg sandwich on brioche was simple, but featured a perfectly cooked egg (bonus points!) and included arugula, grilled onion and pepper and a generous dollop of chevre. It came with a side of extra tasty fries, which the waitress admitted are dipped in panko and so especially crunchy & addictive.A charming, aesthetic spot with good brunch/lunch options, for a mid-day meal in Aspen.

Bear Den is a gem in Aspen. Very tiny and cozy but they get the job done. Great cocktail list. Seasonal menus...so you get variety. And its one of the few places in Aspen where the restaurant will be full and you can still hear yourself talking. I love this place!

It was time for some lunch on Saturday while walking around downtown Aspen and we landed here at the Bear Den. In order to avoid the wait, we opted to have lunch outside. The food was very good, service was just a bit slow that day, but we weren't in a hurry. It's a bit pricey in my opinion but most places are in Aspen. There are some neat dining locations outside on the porch or sidewalk.

OMG! I cannot say enough how good this place was. We ordered the tomato soup and it was the best tomato soup I've ever had, hands down. The service was great, we came on a Saturday for brunch and it was busy but we didn't have to wait that long to be seated or get our food. We sat on the front porch of the house with a nice view of the mountains. Such a cute spot to come with your friends or significant other. Highly recommend!!

What a super chill spot! Stopped here for a quick happy hour drink. The margarita was pretty bland but the animal fries were bomb! The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Very cute and tiny place as most places in aspen are. There are maybe 4 tables with a couple seats at the bar. Makes sense why everything seemed to get booked early. I couldn't imagine going during peak season. They have outside seating as well. I couldn't believe ppl were sitting outside in 50 and sunny weather. The door was left open as well and it was cold inside. Wasn't sure the purpose but we thought maybe this is the aspen way lol so we just kept our coats on. The food was pretty good here. Not many options but all good. The tomato soup was good with Tabasco. The espresso martinis were good

Really disappointed with our drinks. I had a pisco sour that I should have sent back but they were hosting an engagement inside for a private party. The little deck was warm and really cute but both drinks we ordered were disappointing. I would love to see them get a mixologist since the ambiance was lovely.

We came here during our weekend trip up to Aspen because of many reviews on tiktok, instagram, and yelp. We were, to be frank, thoroughly disappointed. The tomato soup was lacking in flavor and came out lukewarm. The sandwiches were good but nothing noteworthy. I think what solidified this sentiment was the matcha latte. I didn't expect anything amazing seeing as we're in the middle of the mountains but you'd still expect some effort--it was nothing but milk with unstrained matcha sprinkled on top. The champagne in the mimosa was very strong, and not in the good way. We enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was kind and efficient, but I wouldn't return simply for that. I'd say come here for
