Went here a couple of month ago with a friend and since I've been debating on whether I should write a review or not. I've heard amazing things about this place and that why we chose it for our girl date. The service was great and they had a good selection on the menu, the food I can't say it was my favorite. I ordered a Margherita pizza and in my opinion it was way too salty, granted that could be me. Since this was my first time there I may go visit again.

Pizza done unique and Italian style. We ordered a variety of pizzas. The Quattro Fammagio was tasty with a good crust. We got double zero natural leaven (48 hours) with all fresh ingredients cut to order. Coming from the East Coast it was nice to find an original take on pizza here in the Springs that digests as well to boot. The most original one we ordered was activated charcoal layered dough which is supposed to help with digestion and help with bloating for those who suffer from bloat after eating pizza. My mom says it worked and the dough was tasty. You can't taste charcoal so it made no difference to the palate and was helpful to the tummy. Overall, I recommend this pizza place for a tasty, original experience.

I really enjoyed this establishment. Ordered the margarita pizza and cannoli. Pizza was light and a great crust with a little too much flop. But it came out fast and was overall not bad. Cannoli was a good treat with a chocolate coding with pistachios.

Best pizza I've eaten in a very long time! Stopped in last weekend while in Colorado and wow, what a great experience!! We ordered a mini charcuterie accompanied by a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to start. The variety of cheese, meat and jam for the price was fabulous and very tasty!! When selecting a pizza, I highly recommend the charcoal crust!! We opted for the "Suprema" signature pizza which is a garlic butter crust topped with neopolitan tomato sauce, fior de latte mozzarella, parmigiana reggiano, mild soppressata, sicilian sausage, mixed bell peppers, mediterranean olives, mushrooms and olive oil and we ate every last bite. The crust was perfectly cooked, perfect proportions of sauce, cheese and toppings and the flavors were spot on! I will definitely be back and highly recommend that if in town you check out this gem!P.S. Service was excellent, the restaurant and large, open and airy. Modern style decor and very clean!!

The food was excellent and the service was great. I recommend the chef special, as they made us a yummy honey pizza. Pictured is the basil and barley pizza which I recommend if you love basil and cheese! It is a tad bit oily but the bread soaked it up well

Really enjoyed this place! Neapolitan style pizza is the best type of pizza in my opinion, and these guys are doing it right! All their pizzas feel very legit, and you can tell they use some high-quality ingredients. I had Carnefice pizza as I wanted to have something on the meatier side, but definitely want to try others. The ambiance is very welcoming and cozy. If you are thinking of coming with a group of friends for a good conversation, or your significant one - this is the place to spend a good portion of your evening. Glad we've discovered it, and will definitely be back once I think of pizza.

In the past I left Basil & Barley a great review, but sadly we won't be coming back here. We were so excited to come celebrate our son's birthday and the host suggested a free dessert at the end. I let our waitress know it was his birthday and this was our 3rd time here in the last month or so. We got in around 5:45 and they weren't that busy. I'm not sure if their ice machine needed to be cleaned, but our drinks at first tasted really off. We've had their natural sodas before but they tasted terrible. The restaurant itself was dirty, lots of flies, pizza cutter was obviously dirty, and the quality of food has gone down. Pizza was very salty, our son's food was burnt and we received a kids order of 'Alfredo pasta' which when we ordered we specifically asked for the 'chicken Alfredo.' Our waters didn't come, and when we asked for waters again the host gave it to us. Our waitress gave up on our table and we felt like we wasted not only our time, but our son's birthday night.

A year ago this establishment was a 5 out of 5. It sunk drop decreased to almost a 1 for me. I heard the original ownership had some personal issues not sure and it is none of my business....The new staff were younger kids acting as if they work at Little Cesar's or Chuckie Cheese...this pizza is no cheap but it was worth it a year ago....the ingredients are the same but it counts big time how it's prepared.
