Base Nine Bar

Typical ski resort food that's alright, but at a higher price than you'll be happy with. On the other hand, you're hungry and it's easy, so it has its purpose. Maybe get what you need here and order delivery later on the day

Just flew in from UT for a work trip and came straight here at night, and am absolutely mind blown that there's not a single food item in this entire resort right now. There's no open restaurant, there's no food service, no room service, there's no 24 hour place that delivers, there's no 24 hour place period outside, there's no lobby snack bar, even the vending machine refuses Apple Pay and cards. Not 1 single calorie in this entire place. I feel like I'm in an episode of the twilight zone No way this is real. I have a public speaking gig in 6 hours and won't be able to eat a single thing before I'm on stage since I left UT. Next time I come I'm going to buy at least one of their resultants and extend the hours and then make a donation to the resort so they can hire night staff and provide room service.

This bar is probably the greatest aspect Beaver Run Lodge has to offer. Fantastic drink specials ($5 wells and draft beers) and two well-kept pool tables and dart boards. They have ice water stations set up to stay hydrated. Emily was the sweetest bartender and helped us celebrate National Margarita Day the RIGHT WAY. Forreal. If you guys have the privilege of being served by her, order her margarita with the Maestro Dobel Diamante tequila. (disclaimer: I am by no means a tequila drinker, and this was off the hoook.) She brags that she used to work at a tequila bar, and I definitely do not doubt that. My group and I had a great time closing the bar down with several games of billiards. We also enjoyed ordering drinks and taking them out to the gas fire out front for some conversation and friends. Such a great hangout spot. xoxo

I always love a good beer and burger after snowboarding. Most ski towns get that concept. It's not difficult, and shouldn't be expensive. However I was not thrilled about the Base Nine. It seemed like there was local crowd, I spent a few nights here during the week. And in all cases, there was only one bartender serving 30-50 people at a time. The beer was ok, not very cold. And I was not thrilled about the burger, especially at an extra $3 for each additional topping. A bacon, onion and avocado added $9 on to my already overpriced burger. The total for just the burger came to $28! (I could get a very nice steak in Boston for that price)It took 30 - 40 minutes for the burgers to come out, and even then the orders were messed up. Some burgers came out, others did not. Eventually mine did come, however it was the last meal to show up at the table. It was over-cooked and with the wrong ingredients. The bartender did try to accommodate by discounting the bill and throwing in a beer, however it was already too late. This was clearly a management failure. In the end, I felt bad for the bartender , since he was exceptionally busy, and doing his best. The place was very understaffed and the food price does not fit the quality and ambience.

Ordered chicken kabob. Yuk. Very nice young man at the bar, and good service. But I won't eat there again!

Friendly staff and a good beer selection. Very accommodating with the TVs and even adding sound for the NBA playoffs. A plus is the food from Spencer's Steakhouse.

Quaint little bar with a happy hour between 1500 and 1700, perfect to finish the day off. Although the happy hour drinks are limited, this is made up with a great bar tender and free pool.

great service ! the bartenders were so kind and helpful for my first time in breckinridge! recommend to everyone to have a fun drinking night or good pizza!
