Best kept secret in Colorado Springs! Walked into Bada and was greeted by very friendly and attentive staff. It was a very clean and inviting environment. I asked what they recommended and was offered a variety of tasty options. When my food arrived I was not disappointed. The hamachi was absolutely incredible and followed by delicious rainbow roll. Bada is an outstanding little neighborhood Japanese restaurant! 10/10

Japanese restaurant, open only for dinner. Menu had a lot of items that were out of stock or no longer available.Hot when you first walk in and they've just opened, it cooled a bit down after a while. Short staffed, sushi orders would take a while since they had a few larger orders and just one sushi chef. They give you a paper of the sushi options.The miso soup was good. The salad didn't have enough ginger. The pan fried gyoza (5 to an order, kids liked it and we had 3) and agedashi tofu were both good. Beef yakiudon was good, but salty. The chicken katsudon was ok, could've used more egg and was also salty. Lion roll was big and pretty good. Overall good appetizers and flavors, just a bit salty.

I was excited to try this sushi spot. I came for dinner on a Saturday night and there was only one server and one sushi chef at 6 PM. Many menu items weren't available due to being short-staffed. I feel for the restaurant as I heard really great things. The nigiri was excellent. I ordered yellow tail and tuna which were cut generously and very fresh. I ordered a Fuji roll (house specialty roll) which was missing a couple of elements described on the menu. It was supposed to have salmon and green onion garnish but only came with tuna and A LOT of Sarimi/imitation crab. Otherwise, the server did well managing the two other tables in the restaurant and was very attentive and sweet despite the shortage of staff. The food was ok and the price wasn't great compared to other sushi restaurants for what you get. Perhaps I'll give them another chance during lunch when they are fully staffed?

Bada is a zen experience where it is so peaceful inside, you could enjoy your sushi and then meditate at the same table. It was so quiet, you could hear a sushi roll drop. There were only a couple others inside, and they even play light, relaxing instrumental music while showing calming sceneries on the TV. Our waitress, while very friendly and attentive, was practically whispering to us to not disturb the peaceful environment. Since there were not many customers, it was not too surprising that the service speed was fast. There is a large parking lot outside the restaurant, which is very convenient.As for the sushi itself, I thought it was very solid. I ordered the Unagi Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll, and Four Seasons Roll. I particularly liked the Unagi Roll, which has masago inside. The presentation of the three rolls on the plate was quite nice. This was also good value, as all 3 rolls cost $33 together.Overall, if you are looking for a very peaceful restaurant with quality sushi in Colorado Springs, Bada would be a very good choice. Just don't come too sleepy or you might fall asleep.

We used google to search for a place to eat. We went to Bada Japanese restaurant and when we went inside there was a sign that the kitchen was closed temporarily. Only sushi was available. What a waste of time, disappointed that google did not have this important update.
