Back To The 80’s

I was doing some Christmas shopping with a friend today and we visited this store to see if they had a My Pet Monster. I have been searching for one for the last few months as I've always wanted to replace mine. They had two. When I asked the staff what the price was, the gentleman quoted close to $400. When I told my friend that the other store I visited was only $250 for the same item and in better condition, the man rolled his eyes at me and said, "doubt it." Then he made a snarky comment about it probably being a fake. The one I found for $250 was authentic and not a replica. We would have continued shopping and purchased something if he wasn't so rude. It's really off putting when you want to buy something but the staff are not very kind. If it wasn't for the eye roll, he could have sold us a She-Ra castle. Never again.

I purposely stopped by today to check out the latest selection of vintage toys and was greatly disappointed. The store has a handwritten note for hours that clearly indicates open on Saturday, 11-5. Here I am at 1:29pm and no toys. I would say call before showing up, but one of life's great mysteries is the phone number.

Is this store ever opened? How can a store afford super high mall rent when never opened. It took me several months of popping by during their business hours to finally see an the store open, AND then the gate was shut and some lady was talking on the phone and wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. I waited about 15 mins before she came over to the locked gate, and then she was just sooooo rude when I asked questions on some items. Basically seems like nothing there is for sale, This store is a complete waste of one's time. Obviously online is the way to go, cause at the end of the day, it's just plastic junk!
