Not the best. Seeing a cook with long hair in the kitchen not covered, not clean! Multiple servers with long hair walking in and out.. come on. Food. Okay. Service. Okay.Too many competing TVs for noise.

Bottom line first: you must try the fresh green beans. Our waiter never wrote anything down! There was Monday night football on the big screen but we had no issue catching up with friends. Try their spicy hamburger! Try the Rueben Iced tea is fresh Great place for food

What a surprise!I had been here once for a beer and an order of tots while I waited for my spouse last December as she was at a cookie exchange.We decided to give it a go as we were nearby. We were told to sit wherever we liked so I picked a quiet spot away from the main crowd which was nice.We were spoiled by our server Jessica who was not only sociable but made great suggestions as to what to try. She told us the wings and the pizza at Back East were the best in town! We started with an icy cold beer and looked over the entire menu! A ton of choices...We decided on wings and we do like them spicy. The hottest sauce was called Dragonfire and we almost went with that heat level. Jessica recommended her favorite mix of garlic parmesan and dragonfire! What a great idea... so we ordered our wings crispy and with a side of fries.The wings were perfect and the flavor was something else. The pictures of the wings say it all. The sauce blend turned out amazing with the buttery garlic parmesan and the kick of the dragonfire heat. The fresh parmesan took it over the top! The more we ate we were left with just a touch of heat. The fries were hot and freshly cooked so all is well! Back soon to try the pizza!

I went here for lunch for a big work event. They had our tables reserved ahead of time so we didn't have to wait at all. The waitresses were attentive - got us drinks and refills. They took our orders promptly as well. My friend and I shared an appetizer and a salad. We had their lemon pepper wings and their new salad - chicken burrata salad. The chicken wings were incredible - hot, crunchy, flavorful! I will definitely order again. The burrata cheese was the exact right consistency and softness, but the chicken was a little dry. It was on a small bed of spinach with bread, which was okay. My other friend got another salad but I don't know which one. She only ate half of it and she didn't say anything about what she thought of it. I had another friend who got the chicken parm sandwich and fries and he said it was okay. Overall I think the lemon pepper wings were the best and I'll definitely come back for those!

Excellent service, but the bar staff consistently cuts off juke box songs throwing customer money down the drain.

Good food! The wings are great! The staff is also friendly and it is a good vibe in here. We will be back!

The first time we ordered take out from this Back East Bar and Grill was about 2 months ago, it was not a good experience. The pizza was cold and I live less than 10 minutes from there and I got the spinach and artichoke dip which had a piece of hair in it!!! I called to complain and the manager was rude from the start. She said the pizza shouldn't be cold, but the hair was their fault. She said she would have a gift card there for a specific amount, which I wrote the amount down, to replace the food another time. I was a little turned off by the hair in the food, and the bad customer service from the manager so I didn't have a big desire to eat there again right away. This weekend I ordered take out from them the same pizza and I got the cheese bread instead of the spinach and artichoke dip. This time the pizza was hot, but the cheese bread was cold, go figure. The manager was extremely rude to me about the whole thing. She kept saying she does not believe the pizza was cold if you didn't have a long drive home after picking it up. She also said she never told me a certain dollar amount on the gift card, but I wrote down the amount she told me during our conversation. She insisted she doesn't tell customers an exact amount she is refunding, and I know it's because she changes the amount thinking you won't notice. The total of the order from this weekend was $1 less than my original order, but I still had to pay $20 which means she lied about the amount she was putting on the gift card. I have no reason to lie about these things, yet the manager kept telling me she doesn't believe me the pizza was cold in the first place. I was blown away at the attitude and behavior of the MANAGER, you would think someone in that position should at least be capable of being respectful regardless of the situation. It sucks because their food is generally pretty good, but but not good enough that I want to support a company that treats their customers so poorly. I didn't even bother telling them the cheese bread was cold from my order this weekend, because I don't need to be treated so poorly from the manager. Instead I am am writing this review and will NOT be eating their again. There is so much negativity in this world right now and I will not support a company that treats their customers like that. Cool vibes, good food.When visiting some friends in CO Springs one weekend, we came here for dinner. We were with a group of 8 so we called ahead to reserve a table on a Saturday night and we had no problems with that - which was surprising, b/c this place apparently packs out on the weekends!Considering the # of people we had, service was fairly quick as we ordered drinks - I got the peach cobbler martini (actually delicious!) - and food - I got the Truffle on chicken w/ tots. Everyone really seemed to like their food & drinks, including me! I thought the chicken sandwich was delicious, especially with the mushrooms & fried onions on top.There was also live music that started up around 7, which added an even cooler vibe to the place. Great spot!
